Rimbombin Hostal - Bar - Restaurante

Great location, compact rooms but with lots of storage. Restaurant downstairs has huge variety of lovely tapas. Lots of locals here as well as tourists. We will be back.

Had the Lamb,mushroom,peppers on a skewer with roasted potatoes and salad. Plenty for 2 for a snack. Reasonable prices for food and drinks. Great coffee. Nice wine. Friendly staff. Cute decor, locals go always a good thing.

We did not eat here and only used the hotel room. The room was decorated very modern and used the limited space very effectively appearing somewhat larger than in other hotels. Cleanliness was good and everything in good shape Location is in the heart of the city. Which also means you will have to park the car separately Which is not a problem though

I am walking the Camino de Santiago (Frances) with my friend. We stayed in a|private apartment on the 5th floor with 2 bedrooms and a private bathroom and kitchen for 1 night on Oct 2. The beds were very comfortable and we had one of the best sleeps of our trip so far. It was very homey after many nights spent in shared dormitories with shared bathrooms. My friend snores - as do many pilgrims in the shared dorms - and it was nice to have my own room. I had a peaceful, blissful sleep for the second time in 16 days. The apartment is filled with light, thanks to 3 skylights, and the full moon shone through the skylight in my room all night - it was magical. Just a few minutes walk from the cathedral, right in centro historico, a few steps from the plaza mayor. There is a great tapas bar on site at street level and we were able to make breakfast in our apartment before we left for the Camino the next morning. I highly recommend this wonderful albergue. This felt like an apartment I could happily live in! A worthwhile splurge.

I have to leave an excellent review for the waitress named Valentina. She has taken great care of us and not only us but also the clients in the restaurant. It is gratifying see still young and eager waiters. The other guy ( i don't remember his name ) looks very cool, Thank you. We will return Rimbombin!

Small hotel in an excellent location. The hotel door is to the right of the restaurant. The rooms are very quiet. I specified a large bed for one person but it converts to s triple. Clean. Lots of cafes nearby. Great for El Camino. Note: soap but no shampoo provided.

Very nice little hotel. Rooms very cool with modern feel. Bed very comfortable, bathroom modern and sleek. Right by the main square in Burgos. There was also a small restaurant/cafe downstairs with good tapas. I would definitely come back if staying in Burgos.

Fantastic Tapas selections and absolutely delicious. The cold cuts and cheese selection is also good. Blood sausage A+ for sure.

OMG! Rimbombin is an absolute delight, their menu is amazing and their food is to absolutely die for. We had a variety of dishes but what stood out the most was their award winning Ferrero Morcilla (blood sausage) and apple sauce, it's absolutely an explosion of flavors in your mouth, the service is incredible and the ambiance is quaint as is nestled in one of the many alleys in the city close to plaza mayor. I recommend this place 100% if you are ever here in Burgos Or passing thru while doing el Camino de Santiago, on your way to Santiago De Compostela.

This is a great place near the Cathedral. We decided to stop for lunch during our Camino. We shared a great salad with tuna (sized to be shared by two) and a plate of chicken wings. Latter came with garlic infused mayo! That was a tasty condiment with the wings. Salad had shrimps/gumbas, tuna, cherry tomatoes. Yummy. With two cafe a on leche, total bill came up to Euro 20. Would recommend though table seating is somewhat limited. A fair number of country/bar seats. Quite a number of locals, having their coffee or beers with a tapas or not.

Came in for lunch with family. Great tapas, good service and great local pub feel. Getting a tapas with morcilla de Burgos (local version of blood sausage) was a delicious experience.

Is not the best around. Next to this place you have "el meson de Burgos" is much better. But this one is ok too. Have a good day in Burgos.
