"A Technicolor Pool Party Along the Old City Wall A midsummer night’s fantasy—Zurich-style. Tucked away near the stock exchange, the city’s oldest badi, the men-only Männerbad Schanzengraben, transforms into the popular Rimini Bar come evening. The scene is surreal: a mixed crowd mingling along the edges of the pool, a shooting fountain, technicolor lights—all surrounded by the ivy-covered old city wall. Nice place to have a drink with your friends, large tables so you might be sharing it with other people. On a Friday night the place was quite crowded but you could still enjoy it.

Perfect place to grab a drink on a summer evening. The water keeps the area feeling cool, and refreshing even on the hottest days, and such beautiful turquoise also makes for a stunning backdrop. My favorite part is that despite how busy it is, you never feel overcrowded or lacking personal space and you can have a conversation without needing to shout to be heard. However, the quality of their drinks leaves something to be desired and the food is appalling, so if you go to Rimini it’s truly just for the setting. Still worth it in my opinion, but good to keep in mind.

Nice play to have a drink. The place is laid back and very pleasant in the summer, as water passes by under the deck. Unfortunately, and due to it being a nice place, it gets pretty crowded in the evening. The food is OK and drinks can only be baugh5 at the counter.

The place is amazing, but if you want to eat, maybe you should go in another place first and get there after that to drink 🍷

One of the most atmospheric places for a warm summer evening/ night! Very informal; self serving; relaxed crowd

Google
Rimini Bar in Zurich offers a charming and inviting ambiance that truly enhances the overall experience. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing with friends, enjoying the beautiful surroundings, and soaking in the unique vibe of the place. However, one downside was the “Apero Platte” priced at 28 CHF. The food quality was mediocre, and considering that it is even self-service, the price felt excessively high. While the self-service aspect itself is acceptable, the cost does not match the quality provided.

The location is nice but way too expensive for a glass of wine served in a disposable plastic glass. I didn't expect something fancy but then prices should go with. Service was not particularly friendly either.

Yelp
Why did I not know if this place last summer! This is my second Summer in Zürich and I finally made it here- I went with a friend on a Thursday at 16:00hrs and because it was so early the place had a nice a friendly atmosphere from the customers to the staff. In the day time its supposedly a men's only public swimming river (called a BADI in Switzerland) and towards the evening it becomes a bar by the Schanzengraben River. A beer was about CHF 7,- and a Apéro Spritz about CHF 12,-. The serve little snacks too and what's really important is that its CASH ONLY. I am a big fan and cannot wait to go back, I just can imagine that this place is completely packed in the summer. Little hidden paradise in the city. **Swiss German Word of the Week: BADI English: lakeside public swimming area German: Seebad, French: piscine en plein air Italian: piscina Romansh: bogn avert).

Yelp
This is a men's swimming area, but on summer evenings it turns into a poolside lounge and bar. Don't be conjuring up images of swimming pools, because the "pool" here is actually part of the man-made Schanzengraben river that used to surround the original city of Zürich. You can still see the old stone walls outside that used to line the moat. Rimini closes when it rains, but we were lucky enough to stay by huddling under giant umbrellas because it rained AFTER we got in. They even put a giant umbrella over the barbecue grill and kept right on grilling! Cool place to chill for a drink after work and get some pizza or bratwurst or cervelat outdoors. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Yelp
Good pizza, cool vibes in the summer. Always packed and decently priced drinks for Zurich. Lots of work happy hours and impromptu nights due to its central location. Since it's outdoors it's closed in the colder months and they usually have a soft opening as the weather warms up and then an official day it opens its doors

Yelp
Rimini is a great place to grab a drink after work. During the day it is a men's only outdoor swimming area, but at night it is open to all to enjoy. The venue is so lovely especially as it gets darker and the little colored lights come on. Every Monday during the summer is the Rimini where you cab buy some vintage items and you can even sell some of you things if you like. I would say go early if you want to secure a place to sit where the benches are as it tends to get quite busy and full and if you are peckish they have pizzas to order as well. During the the annual Street Parade, Rimini is host to one of the best day parties from Cityfox. Great music and people all over the place.

Yelp
Cool open air bar in the middle of the city !!! During the day the man open air badi, afterwork and evening a cool open air bar close the city swimming pool. It is really a nice bar, after work it get filled with bankers (for off course the after works drinks), but later at the night you get a more mix crowded (still a bit hipsterish). There is not that much sun in the evening because it is enclosed by walls. So to have a bit of sun go early :) The staff is nice, but could smile more often. A really nice Zurich summer bar: I am a fan !!!!

Yelp
One of the coolest outdoor bar in Zurich. Good pizza and chips with awesome salsa and guacamole. Love to hang out here! When it's soccer game season (world cup or European championships), you can watch the game here.

Yelp
Who doesn't like cool lit up bar by the water! Except the extreme crowds specially on Friday nights with good weather, really cool place for chill drinks. Great up side is you can go together with a large group and still have no issue getting in. Pizza is really great and now that they have the buzzers you don't have to stay away from your friends if your stomach is demanding your attention. Once the weather is chillier and you dared to go there as well as stay late, if you are lucky you get to see couple of dares which involves people with minimal (read 0) clothing swimming together with inflatable animals for appropriate censorship at the exit of the water ;) Also towards the end of the season they set up a tent with funky decorations for drinks as well as doing fondue outside on fur covered benches.

Yelp
This place is a summer bar (meaning that it's only open in the warm weather months) and the "in" crowd in Zürich always looks forward to its annual opening. It's a cool place - a swim hole during the day that transforms to a bar surrounding the water at night. Very unique setting! It's usually packed, but somehow there is always enough room to find your own little space (though usually on your feet). There is a good crowd, from people just out of the office to casual students, and I've always enjoyed myself at Rimini. One thing to note: be careful of iPhones and wallets because you'll be standing on planks of wood over the water. If you drop your wallet, you'll either have to jump in for a swim, or start calling your bank to cancel your cards. :-)

Yelp
Fantastic spot to come to in summer after work or on the weekends to grab a drink and let your legs dangling from the deck. Open from 7 to 11 pm, one of my favorite spots in town.
