Rimondi Boutique Hotel, an SLH Hotel

We are currently here at this incredible hotel, located in the centre of the old town’s maze of narrow streets. The area is ancient and oozes charm. The hotels rooms are clustered around a cool courtyard with small pool. The staff are very attentive and helpful. Breakfast is delightful and Greek continental. The hotel is near the harbour and 15 minute walk from sandy beaches. I would recommend to all.

We stayed here for two nights and it was in the perfect location - bang in the old town. It really is perfect for shopping, going to restaurants, walking the magical laneways and going to the harbour.||Our room was a superior room in the Palazzo and was across two mini levels with steps to get up to the main area and steps to get down to the bathroom. The room was very spacious with separate sleeping and sitting areas. The bathroom had a powerful shower which was good. ||Wifi was patchy in the sleeping area but perfect in the sitting area. I guess it’s to be expected in buildings that old with thick walls!||The staff were wonderful and really friendly. They have advice about boat trips and dolphin watching. Having arrived earlier than checkin it was so easy leaving the cases with them whilst we went wandering.||The one let down for me was the breakfast. I thought the selection wasn’t as good as other Greek hotels I’ve stayed in. ||I would stay here again if I returned to Rethymno. I recommend staying here.

Outstanding hotel in Rethymno Old Town. Great service, with excellent breakfast. Friendly, helpful and English-speaking staff. Our ground floor room was spacious, with a jacuzzi on the secluded patio. Well worth visiting. On a street with no vehicular traffic - quiet and secluded.

Lovely hotel in the heart of old town Rethymnon. We had a more expensive room with a large, very private sun terrace with a table, a couple of chairs and two sun loungers and views of both pools and across the old town. Well worth the extra. There were also a couple of shared sun roof terraces. We were bed and breakfast, which was reasonable but not exceptional. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Area was great for eating out, with dozens of great restraunts to choose from either around hotel or down at Venetian Harbour (5 min walk). We arrived by hire car and always got parked for free on edge of the old town with 5 minute walk to hotel. Overall I would rate this as a 4 star hotel as rooms slightly dated. Would highly recommend and would stay again if in that area.

A fabulous hotel in the heart of the old town. It was everything we wanted from our three nights exploring the area. The two pools are wonderful and such a plus point especially when you have children and you all need to cool off. The bar areas were great as were the breakfasts. The staff were also brilliant. So helpful and so welcoming to us all. Very good with children. It has a great vibe and we would return. The only thing marking it down to a 4 with the room was there wasn’t adequate storage in the room for a family of four. We didn’t complain at all but would book a larger family room next time. Thank you to everyone for making our first visit to Crete so memorable!

Great location, nice rooms (we were treated to a free upgrade). Nice breakfast with fresh orange juice served in the courtyard. No parking in immediate vicinity, but you can usually find a free spot close to the sea. Quality of tea served on the premises could be improved, same for toiletries.

I cannot RAVE about this hotel enough. From the second of checkin all the way to checkout- the staff provided unbelievable top notch luxury service. The rooms are beautiful, the pool is serene, the breakfast is out of this world- cooked fresh for you. The location could not be more perfect- in the streets of rethymno, located steps from local food and vendors. One staff member at the front desk recommended zefyros fish for dinner and it was the best food we had on our entire 13 day Greece trip. We wish we had more time in this amazing hotel and place.||Book it now, don’t hesitate! You will love this little oasis and friendly staff!

Lovely hotel and the staff are wonderful. I got a small head injury while sightseeing and the staff were so kind and helpful. |Hotel itself is of a high standard and nicely appointed. Luxurious without being stuffy. Hotel cat, called Betty is very cute! Highly recommend
