"Nigel Sylvester, a professional BMX athlete, collaborated with Rimowa to create a unique bike case designed for ease of traveling with his BMX bike. This collaboration was inspired by Sylvester's need for a more efficient and visually appealing travel solution for his bike, compared to the repurposed golf bags he previously used."

Need to queue to get in on a saturday afternoon. You have a dedicated sales rep assigned to you. Most of the shoppers do exit with a purchase so i guess it is not for window shoppers. Most of the shoppers are also existing customers already. Dogs allowed 🤗

Very professional service. Big thanks to Julian for his help and information about this brand and also to Agatha. Was a pleasure to have this experience!

I went to buy suitcases on 4/25. There was a Moroccan male employee who was very friendly and the service was cordial (sorry I forgot his name). Great shopping experience.

Excellent service and friendly staff (especially the Taiwanese lady who served us, though I didn't catch her name). There was a bit of a wait to enter the store due to the influx of tourists. It's best to decide on the model you want to buy or view beforehand.

During our visit to the Rimowa shop in Munich, we initially had a positive experience with one attendant, who assured us they had a replacement belt for our damaged luggage. However, after returning with the serial number, we were met with a deeply disappointing interaction. The new staff members, including a short, overweight girl and a technician named Lucas, not only contradicted the earlier information by claiming the belt was unavailable but also exhibited blatantly racist behavior. Despite the belt being the exact size required, they refused to assist. As loyal Rimowa customers with multiple pieces of their luggage, this incident left us appalled. The unprofessionalism and discriminatory attitude displayed at this shop were unacceptable, and we will not be returning. Rimowa should address such behavior seriously to maintain its reputation.

I visited this showroom two weeks ago with a group of friends to make some large purchases. At first we had to wait over an hour to be let in. Even though we ordered about 10 suitcases to be prepared, the salesman with southern type of appearance treated us with a grumpy attitude and made indiscriminate comments directed at us to another saleswoman. He looked like he was doing us a favor by selling these suitcases. I don't remember ever being treated this way by a store employee. Due to his behavior I gave up the purchase, unfortunately my friends did not.

Waited outside in the cold rain for over an hour as other customers skip the line and are let in immediately. Waited inside the store store for another 30 minutes before being assisted. Left.

Please DO NOT buy Rimowa Hybrid! I never checked in this baggage and it damaged easily! And per Rimowa it is Beyond Repair 😑😩 and this cost me USD1000!

Yelp
For my first review for 2025, I have to reflect back on my experience at this Rimowa in Munchen. The service was just as excellent as our experience in Madrid (please feel free to read that review). After spending a lot of time in Old Town and visiting the main attractions such as Glockenspiel, St. Peter, and eating pastries and meals in this area - we were drawn to this Rimowa on their famous street - Dienerstrabe. Salman was very attentive in showing us models and we were able to pick up our selection after walking around some more and eating and site-seeing. The luggage was kinda heavy after walking about eight (8) blocks (about 1.5 miles) back to the hotel. A few more thoughts, the gold initialing of the name tag is behind the scenes though (unlike in Madrid - they do it in front of you), so that wasn't as exciting. Salman did not understand Tagalog but spoke English, and that was helpful. There was a Filipina employee there and she was our Plan B if there was a language barrier but thankfully, there wasn't any. :) I've contemplated going aluminum but there are weight restrictions when flying to Asia so I opted for polycarbonate once more. I guess, if you're going with United, carry-on weight doesn't matter. But it does matter on PAL and EVA, so lighter is better, because they'll charge extra. Make sure to submit the tax information at the airport so that you can save on part of your taxes (Global Blue). It can be a pain in the arse but it's still worth jumping through all the hoops.
