Extremely pleased with staff's approach. Young lady was very helpful, and although I do not know her name, I'm recommending her as your agent. She guided me through the store, explained the usage of some products and helped me make the right purchase. The purchase went smooth but there was unfortunately a problem in the Account Registration system (not their fault!) so it took a bit longer. The interior is well-organized and clean. They offered me a cup of water or cola as well. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase and experience and am definitely recommending this store to others.

Super fast service and Lucas at service counter is a mind reader, knowing what I need before I speak. Friendly staff throughout the shop that makes everyone feel welcome. And he is the first German to speak my name correctly.

I went to buy suitcases on 4/25. There was a Moroccan male employee who was very friendly and the service was cordial (sorry I forgot his name). Great shopping experience.

I brought in my two RIMOWA suitcases for care service—one had a rattling sound inside, and the other’s wheels weren’t rolling smoothly. On arrival, I was directed straight to the first-floor service counter with virtually no wait, and the team got to work immediately. Every step of the repair was transparent, and the staff handled everything with impressive professionalism and speed. It turned out the rattling was caused by the internal wheel-adjustment tool coming loose, and both suitcases received a full wheel greasing. They now roll as smoothly as when they were brand new.

Small store so you may need to wait. Great service! We had Lukas, and he was fantastic!! There’s lifetime warranty for repairs and currently if bought in Germany, 2 year insurance included. Worth the buy!

Need to queue to get in on a saturday afternoon. You have a dedicated sales rep assigned to you. Most of the shoppers do exit with a purchase so i guess it is not for window shoppers. Most of the shoppers are also existing customers already. Dogs allowed 🤗

Popped into the shop to get the broken wheel on my suitcase repaired. Lukas at the repair desk was extremely helpful, resourceful and time efficient. I was done in 15 minutes!

For my first review for 2025, I have to reflect back on my experience at this Rimowa in Munchen. The service was just as excellent as our experience in Madrid (please feel free to read that review). After spending a lot of time in Old Town and visiting the main attractions such as Glockenspiel, St. Peter, and eating pastries and meals in this area - we were drawn to this Rimowa on their famous street - Dienerstrabe. Salman was very attentive in showing us models and we were able to pick up our selection after walking around some more and eating and site-seeing. The luggage was kinda heavy after walking about eight (8) blocks (about 1.5 miles) back to the hotel. A few more thoughts, the gold initialing of the name tag is behind the scenes though (unlike in Madrid - they do it in front of you), so that wasn't as exciting. Salman did not understand Tagalog but spoke English, and that was helpful. There was a Filipina employee there and she was our Plan B if there was a language barrier but thankfully, there wasn't any. :) I've contemplated going aluminum but there are weight restrictions when flying to Asia so I opted for polycarbonate once more. I guess, if you're going with United, carry-on weight doesn't matter. But it does matter on PAL and EVA, so lighter is better, because they'll charge extra. Make sure to submit the tax information at the airport so that you can save on part of your taxes (Global Blue). It can be a pain in the arse but it's still worth jumping through all the hoops.
