Just finished 5 nights here with my 14 year old son. Twin room, 1st floor. |The Hotel oozes relaxation, its low season however the set up creates privacy. |There is a restaurant for breakfast, afternoon snacks (free) and evening dinner but it doesn’t push you to go there and have a beer, they close it early. We liked this, it again created privacy and suited us perfectly than options for a hotel bar. |Tons of shops, restaurants , supermarket all within a few mins walk. |Location is excellent, 10 mins walk to the centre of everything. |Bedroom was a twin, very clean, walk in shower and beds were super comfy. |Toiletries provided and very high standard. |Branded towels and pillows. |The pool was our highlight, so clean, the beds are of very high quality and never many people around. It was heaven. |The staff are just amazing, always smiling , always willing to help. |All reception staff were made come outside to wave us off this morning. |I would book here again for sure.|20 mins from airport.

We stayed here for 5 nights, it is a beautiful oasis of calm and quiet, but only a short walk across the Iron bridge to the main hustle and bustle of Chiang Mia. The room was lovely and staff couldn’t do enough for us. They helped us order a red bus and were always very helpful with any queries we had. The pool and pool area were immaculate with towels placed next to each sunbed. Great variety of food for breakfast whether it be from the buffet or the breakfast menu.

Fantastic hotel, room (222) was spacious clean and overlooking the pool, aircon always worked well and water pressure from shower was good and always hot water, all staff were friendly and always happy to help, pool was great and never busy, never had dinner at hotel but breakfast was very good with plenty of food and options. Hotel is in a quiet location away from main roads but only a 10 to 15 minute cycle ride on free to use bicycles to the town centre and an easy 10 minute walk to restaurants and night market. I would 100% recommend staying at Rimping village.

We had a great experience in this hotel- 2 families each with 2 adults and 2 teen kids. The room configuration is extremely convenient. The space is split into 2 rooms that can be separated by sliding doors, one large bed and 2 tween beds. Large shower. The service is great, we arrived late at night and the hotel staff was ready for us. The breakfast food is great. The facility is super clean. We were worried about the location being a bit out of the way but we found it to be an advantage. It takes a 5-7min super easy and scenic walk to get to the night market, to the old city it’s a 5min drive but was not a problem to find taxi/ took-took. And after visiting the city we were happy to be a bit out of the chaos in such a peaceful hotel vs. the more crowded and noisy places we saw at the old city and night market. Highly recommended the local food places around this hotel. Amazing noodle soup place just around the corner and great local food restaurant with a few table on the nearby street. Great local evening food market about 3-4min walk as well (not the big touristic one close to downtown).

This place is perfect for those who love a family-friendly atmosphere. The hotel is small but charming, with friendly and welcoming staff. Every time I walked past the lobby, someone would greet me warmly. The rooms are clean and simply decorated in a traditional Lanna style, but what makes it special is the balcony overlooking large, beautiful trees. In the evening, I had the chance to borrow a bicycle from the hotel and ride along the Ping River, stopping to enjoy some snacks from local street vendors. This trip turned into a wonderful experience of discovering Chiang Mai at a slower, more heartwarming pace.

My family recently spent 5 nights at this hotel. Location is a short walk over the bridge and in to town. We were able to walk wherever we needed - night markets, old town etc and places like white temple, blue temple an easy taxi ride away. Hotel is very clean. Rooms are spacious and staff attentive. The best mango and sticky rice we experienced in all of Thailand was at the breakfast buffet. We could not fault our stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel is extremely clean everywhere from reception to rooms to restaurant, to communal toilets, swimming pool and the showers by the pool. The sun beds were carved wooden quality beds with comfy cushions and a handy carved wooden bedside table. The linen in the room was beautiful and another comfy bed. The staff were friendly professional and polite. Breakfast was varied with something for everyone. A short walk to main streets of Chiang Mai but far enough away for a peaceful night's sleep. If there is anything the hotel could do it would be have more sunbeds. Overall you couldn't stay at a better hotel in Chiang Mai without paying top dollar for a renowned international chain hotel.
