This may be one of the worst "resorts" we've ever stayed at. The staff is completely unsympathetic, borderline cruel. The facility is somewhere between falling apart and brand new. This hotel has some bait and switch. Offering two restaurants, a bar, a pool bar, a jacuzzi, etc. Only one restaurants operates at a time. The bar is closed. The pool bar is closed. The pool is colder than the Atlantic. The "jacuzzi" is the same temperature as the ocean. There was literal poop (a pile of it) six inches from the "jacuzzi" for an hour+ while we were in the warm tub. We were accosted and bullied by another guest who was clearly intoxicated from their cooler (only way to get alcohol onsite). The elevator has warning beeps indicating it is not operating well, and should not be used. At breakfast, they did not have coffee... Our shower did not have a range, it literally was either cold or scolding (didn't think that was possible). When the staff was notified, investigated the issues, and confirmed our experience. We were offered to change rooms (no upgrade, couldn't get the level of room we purchased, just a flat swap of the same downgrade we received when checking in). However, we needed to vacate our current room before being allowed to move into the next room. If we were packing up, it would be to leave that dreadful property, not to just swap rooms. We could mention the wheel swallowing potholes from the entrance to the lobby, the lack of bell service, the Kraft singles used as our entree's, etc. The 6 other rooms occupied during our stay (practically abandoned) is a testament to the pile of crap this motel is. Please stay away!

I think three stars is a fair rating. Basically in this section of Puerto Rico there's not much that's very nice and at one time this probably was much nicer but the 20-Ft long beach it's all that's left. If that's what you want to call it. It is basically about a foot into the water and then all rocky to where I didn't really trust going any further. The pool is on the chili side and the hot tub is not exactly hot. The view of the sunset is very nice, but overall the folks that I've run into were not terribly helpful and in one case told me that they couldn't give me a better room despite the fact that one of the lamps was broken because of protocol and that I had the best room for the price I paid. It's a little annoying since the hotel is 90% empty and I can see why it's empty. Perhaps if they put a little bit more effort into making the people who come here really love the place then they would get better reviews and perhaps people would actually pay the higher prices for their better rooms. The drive getting here is not that pleasant. And given the above, it's hard to justify spending more than a day here. The pelicans flying by would be the high point.

I had read many reviews about this place, including some recent negative ones, and honestly, I don’t understand them. The property is beautiful—truly “simply perfect,” as they say here. Our room was spotless, the balcony views were incredible, and the grounds were absolutely stunning. The pool was comfortably warm, the hot tub was very warm, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful with anything we needed. There was also plenty for the kids to enjoy, including a giant chess board, outdoor table tennis, swimming, and more. The views throughout the property are truly breathtaking. I’ve uploaded some of my own photos, taken on a Samsung S25 Ultra with no filters or edits, because the scenery really speaks for itself. The price was unbeatable for what you get. There’s a small bar near the front desk and a cozy restaurant offering a nice variety of food. While the beach has changed due to recent hurricanes, that’s obviously beyond the hotel’s control. Overall, this stay was absolutely worth it, and I would gladly visit again.

Was here for a wedding so I could and couldn't see much. It was chill, relaxing, sweet even- but the food was fire! I wanted to say how much of an amazing job the staff did but we left early for tired reasons. The pool veiw to the beach was BEAUTIFUL!!! Like you really get to enjoy the sunset while in some warm water. (Don't know if there was a jacuzzi😅)

Google
Beware, there is no beach at this " Beach Resort "!! The swim up bar is not in service, nor is the bar in the main area pictured, meaning rarely open. This is not a resort, it's a sub par hotel. It needs major updating. The bathroom sinks barely drain, no fan and the shower leaks all over the bathroom. There is not even a free cup of coffee in the morning. The restaurant is ok, and the servers are not very welcoming. I doubt we would recommend this to anyone, and we will not return.

Google
Rincón Beach Resort is a dreamy wedding venue on Puerto Rico’s west coast, and I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful destination wedding here. From getting ready in their ocean-view suites to a beachfront ceremony under swaying palm trees, everything flowed perfectly. The resort’s natural beauty offers an amazing variety of backdrops: lush gardens, golden-hour beach portraits, and charming architecture. Even with a little rain, we captured such joyful, heartfelt moments that made the day feel magical. As a photographer, I truly appreciate wedding venues that are scenic, guest-friendly, and photo-ready—and Rincón Beach Resort is all that and more. I’m sharing a few of my favorite portraits from the day to show just how special this location can be for love stories.

Google
There is no beach anymore, just a sad little area with trash and a broken lounge chair The standard room was depressing with 1 chair, no curtains, no decoration, plain bedding. It was disappointing No hot water, no wifi, the lamp was broken (could not be turned on and then when “fixed” we couldn’t get it off. 2 lamps and ugly overhead light Staff pleasant but not super friendly Jacuzzi was warm-ish Pool needs a good paint touch up Whole place needs a “glow up” really to match the photos online Sad because the sunset is lovely and the rest is so close to nice

Google
It’s a good location, but the furniture is quite old-fashioned. I happened to be there this weekend, and the place was constantly occupied with weddings. The celebrations got loud, with fireworks late into the night.

Yelp
This property is very deceptive, if you go by the pictures online it looks great but in reality not really. We arrived to an almost empty hotel, nothing was open and minimal staff on hand. The room we chose had a balcony but was super musty, they definitely have a humidity problem,if you leave the outside door open for any period of time you will literally have puddles of water on the floor. The rooms are dated and in need of updating. The pool swim up bar was always closed also the lobby bar and the snack bar was rarely open, only the one restaurant on site was only thing avaliable. The pool was in need a of a good cleaning and there is no beach access. The location is fairly isolated, you can walk up the road to a few restaurants, and downtown Rincon by car is 15 minutes. The only good thing here was the staff, what little was on hand were very friendly and accommodating, but i would most likely never stay here again.

Yelp
My wife and I did out renewal vows here 9 years ago! Went back for a business trip. The location is beautiful it has everything a resort has to offer. They never disappoint. Beautiful views and great environment. Definitely would recommend if you want to stay in Rincon Puerto Rico!!

Yelp
This place was beautiful and had some exceptional views. Food tasted good as well However, their service was questionable. The bed had to be changed multiple times due to insects. It's possible cause we're on an island. The phones never worked and they informed us this was in all the rooms but that wasn't true. Their staff members Jean Carlos and Wilson were very rude and weren't accommodating. I had to go down to the lobby for every single request like room service, towels, toiletries. Willamarie on last day was very helpful and did her best to make up for it. I'm not sure if it was a communication issue or they don't care due to location. They can definitely improve for the scenery l.

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel for a long weekend for a family event. I requested an ocean view room and paid $300/night. The disappointment when entering the room! The rooms are so poorly maintained! Holes in the bathroom door and toilet seat, water damage in the stucco in the ceiling. The worse is the shower floor, it seems it has never been cleaned! My sister's room was in even worse condition. We stayed there for a family celebration at the same hotel. The events room is very outdated. The carpet is old and lumpy in some areas. For the price I was expecting something better maintained.

Yelp
A VIEW TO A CHILL This beach resort on the western edge of Puerto Rico has plenty of solid island vibes. With our vacation nearing the end, we booked a stay here for the night of 1/2/19. Check-in was simple, though I didn't appreciate the $50-60 resort fee they tacked onto our reservation (which pays for clean towels, maybe). Our room was spacious and clean, featuring two queen beds. Apart from the mini fridge and a coffee maker, there weren't really many perks. We enjoyed a nice dinner at their on-site restaurant -- Brasas -- but sadly there was no complimentary breakfast. The interior courtyard was suitably tropical and included one of those life-size chess boards. Some kids were messing around with it, though I could see a couple adults really getting into the game after a few drinks from the bar. That brings us to their pool. Oh my WORD Rincon Beach Resort has got it going on. At several hundred feet long (with a mini island in the middle), it was directly adjacent to the beachfront, which bordered on the ocean. On a nice sunny day, there's nothing better. I loved the rush of being able to come up for air after doing a lap underwater, and seeing the Caribbean in front of me. They've even got a swim-up bar! Too bad we didn't have enough time to take advantage of that. I'd definitely have a Sex on the Beach......and maybe a cocktail too, while I'm at it ;) * TL;DR * Beds were comfy and staff were nice enough, although our time at the hotel was pretty limited. We probably only spent 15 hours here (and slept for 9 of them) so I didn't get a full day's worth of activities. One night's stay was $190. Yikes! Nichole C informed me that I should be "objective" and "not mean" in my review since the sky-high prices "aren't their fault". If breakfast were included, I'd think differently but just like Coral Princess in Condado, it's a lofty price to pay for paradise. Rincon Beach Resort is a nice property with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. It's not cheap, but good things in life rarely are.

Yelp
This is a great resort. We were only there for 1 night but boy was it a huge step up from the other place we stayed at in the area. It wasn't perfect but I would definitely recommend staying there.

Yelp
This review is specifically about touring Rincon Beach Resort for a possible wedding venue... We rented a car for this Friday 2/10 as Alondra Rios, the rep we were working with, stated a Monday - Friday was needed, and scheduled a time to see the property. I emailed the week before to confirm. Upon arrival, it was clear the front desk person didn't expect us and was confused by our arrival. We waited a bit and Janice Ruiz, sales director, eventually came out stating we must have gotten the day wrong because you weren't there. I shared the email that showed our appt was Friday and Janice was covering. She asked if we could come back the next day to meet with Alondra. At this point, we decided to leave and not push because this experience was so poor for a wedding site visit - who would want to run the risk of their wedding day also being confused for a different day. To add, I never received a follow up email from Alondra after the issue happened. We visited two other sites that day and will be proceeding with one of them, but felt this feedback to the resort was needed to help others avoid a site visit and advise management of opportunities to improve.

Yelp
Unfortunately I did not have a good experience in this hotel. Nothing close to that the hotels page shows. First of all upon arriving we had two friends visit us and they were charged $91 each just come in the hotel; ridiculous. Then there was a puddle of water in our room, the coffee creamer was old and looked like a bar of soap. Finally when doing our check in I shared my bad experience w them and they said the best they could do to alíviate my experience was to allow me to stay in the quad area of the hotel while my Uber arrives. Otherwise I would have to wait outside. Unheard of. First & last time I visit this hotel.

Yelp
Really comfortable, clean, beautiful resort. The poolside grille + pool bar is closed during the week as other reviews have mentioned but it's no trouble going to the main bar. We had the ocean facing junior suite which was very nice, but you do sacrifice privacy as it's right next to the pool. Wasn't a huge deal and overall was more convenient than trouble but worth noting if you're looking for more privacy. It did feel like we had our own little poolside cabana which was nice. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is pretty good.

Yelp
I don't even know where to start with this one. I rarely write reviews but this establishment deserves some recognition for its atrocious standards. I think the best way to go on about is to list the things out: 1. Elevator - this thing moves soooo slow. Had it not been for our bags, I would have walked up the stairs. Seems like they don't want to spend money on fixing this elevator issue. It shakes and beeps at you when its moving, felt like I was in a horror movie. Make sure your will and life insurance is up to date before entering the elevator. 2. Mr. Cockroach - As described above, I tried to take the stairs whenever possible due to the elevator functioning on one rope. As we walked down the stairs I see a half dead roach. I am assuming he didn't want to take the elevator either and died walking up the stairs. 3. The A.C. - This one probably affected us the most, due to how loud it is and the lack of sleep we got. The A.C. would be relatively quiet for about 5 minutes and then it sounded like it was about to take off into space. Woken up multiple times throughout the night. I tried calling the front desk to look into this issue 3 times at around midnight and no one answered the phone. In the morning I called again and the staff almost sounded offended that I was complaining about it. Left the "resort" for the day and when I returned I asked the front desk if the issue had been solved...staff looks at me and had no idea what I was talking about. Went back to the room and the issue remained. Another sleepless night due to the loud robot A.C. 4. No jets in hot tubs? - It was a nice Saturday night, my lovely girlfriend and I decided to go to the Jacuzzi. As I look around to turn the jets on, I see no buttons to do such thing. I then call the front desk to ask about this and they reply, "sorry the jets are turned on by us once an hour for 15 minutes". We then sat in the warm bath water for 1-2 hours and not once did the jets turn on... 5. Flood - Not sure what was going on here but the 4th floor had towels laid down across the entire hallway. At this point during my stay, I wasn't surprised to see this. We saw this on our way out and took the stairs down to say goodbye to our friend Mr. Roach. I could continue the list of how terrible this place is but will stop now. The only positive thing is the location of the resort. It looks like they spent all their money to buy the location and had none leftover to invest in the actual property itself. It is extremely outdated. Staff isn't helpful and the resort is overpriced. This place should cost $50 a night and that's me being generous.

Yelp
Avoid this place! We just got back to our room after dinner and our room is full of BUGS! Black winged ants or termites. I went to the front desk and the guy said, oh yeah, all the rooms get bugs when it rains. I spoke to several other guests, none had bugs. He handed me a can of spray. After killing literally hundreds of bugs I demanded a new room. The new room didn't have bugs but wasn't completely cleaned from the last guest. I am so freakin done with this place and their I don't give a crap attitude! Little to no hot water in the shower. Not even warm. The gated entrance is not manned. The gates are old and rusted. It really looks a little like you are entering the grounds set for a horror movie. The beach and lobby is nice. We found a lot of sea glass. The pool is old, but very large. The rooms are dated. Dirty popcorn ceilings, not central air, everything looks old and worn. I know it's on the ocean, but the rooms are very humid. The hallways aren't well lit. The bedding looks old. The worst so far has been the person at check in. He was talking to another employee for about five minutes while I was standing there waiting. No big deal, except they weren't talking business, just goofing around. I asked him about going to the nearby caves, and he acted as though he really didn't want to help. No help with suitcases. It's more like an old Holiday Inn with big pool on a beautiful ocean. Oh, and the WiFi barely works. I lose connection every couple minutes. Plan on typical overpriced meals at the resort. The menu is fine, but if rather not spend $30 an entre for disappointing flavor. Instead go to Mahi Mahi or one of the other local restaurants for better food at a much better price. We are here in June.

Yelp
So far decent experience. We were asked to check in at 1:00. The resort was not to capacity. I would have liked to leave my things at 11 when I came in. We were allowed to go to the pool while we waited. It would have been nice to have been offered to unload my luggage and leave it in the reception. When I had to get the luggage it was pouring rain. I had to run and park my car in the rain and get soaking wet. What I MOST recommend here is that the resort purchase umbrellas to keep in the lobby for your customers. This is a must on a rainy island for your customers. I have stayed in many hotels and umbrellas are always available. I was offered a towel to get to my car. A towel would get me just as wet. The room was decent but I don't understand why I was made to wait when it was not perfect. The sheets were clean but there were bugs in the room and the floor was still dirty. There was a bugar on the shower curtain. You need to notice those details when cleaning rooms. At least if you make a customer wait have the room spotless. The pool is nice and the female bartender is very friendly. I was originally staying at rincón of the seas and it was horrible so this resort was a godsend. Just some little details that need to be attended to and the resort could be perfect. I really hope you get an umbrella bucket and stand for your customers to use when it rains. It really sucks to get soaking wet especially when you don't have valet service available to park your car. It rains almost daily in Puerto Rico and this is a must have for your customers happiness. You also need to have valet service for this truly to be a resort experience. Maybe your reception could help in that department because they are not always busy.

Yelp
We very much enjoyed our weekend stay at Rincón Beach Resort in Añasco, Puerto Rico. It is a beautiful, Spanish Colonial style resort with lush tropical gardens. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and clean. Very clean. The entire resort is beautiful and maintained and did I mention very clean? And all the staff are efficient, friendly, and helpful. The pool is not at all like your normal hotel swimming pool. It is large and creatively designed. On one end, a kiddie pool that transitions into a shallow pool, perfect for young children. Toward the opposite end it becomes deeper. There is a huge circular jacuzzi and a pool bar, not just for drinks and sodas, but they can order from a menu of nibbles or meals. We canceled other plans to spend most of the day in the pool. Las Brasas, the hotel restaurant, was where we headed for great breakfasts. The cheerful service was as satisfying as the food, and they even found ways to make a picky eater happy. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already making plans to return next year, this resort is that enticing. We very highly recommend the Rincón Beach Resort.

Yelp
Like another Yelper. I can only mark 1 star because zero is NOT an option. This place is nothing short of a DUMP, the hotel, the room, the restaurant, the gym.. I don't know where to start other than to say its ALL bad.. Gym is DANGEROUS the equipment is so old. How often do you see a bartender brush his hair behind the bar? The place is practically empty yet my food came out cold. I order the 14 oz rib eye.. Its a thin fatty horrible cut of meat, very thin, I would bet my life it doesn't weigh 1/2 that much!!! When it came back out I took one bite and covered it with my napkin and I'll go to bed hungry. It tasted as bad as it looked. Tasted the mashed potatoes, those were worse if possible. Bartender, can i have some salt and pepper, sure, here is one packet of each.. You know the little packets your get at a food truck. There are very few hotels and hotel restaurants I've been to that I would classify as disgusting. This is one!

J M.

Yelp
Well, not the greatest nor the worst! Prepare yourself for NO water and bring bottles of water! Then the staff entered all the rooms without permission even though I had a Do Not Disturb sign on my doorknob! We were not in our room at the time! How about a phone call or text since you have our cell phone numbers before you enter someone's hotel room! Shame on you and talk about invasion of privacy! Parts of the hotel are crumbling and falling apart! Other than that, the staff is kind and the restaurant is so-so! They at least gave us a discount for on one of the days out of our three night stay. Sadly, I will not be returning to this hotel.

Yelp
Wonderful escape from reality !!!!! Nice customer service Easy parking Fitness room Restaurant on site A huge pool with 2 bars and a restaurant next Walking to the beach hmmmm 30 seconds or less I was scare about make a reservation here after reading a few reviews but I'm really really happy to make this decision !!!!!! And yes I be back (terminator voice )

Yelp
they videos and photos online are old. There is no beach. The rooms are musty and not cleaned good. The shower had standing water. There is mold in the chairs inside the room. You get no help with luggage when you ask for it. They say they have no one. Even for person with disabilities. The phone system was not working, no one from the resort mentioned. The staff is nice. The manager was professional. However the overall cleanliness of the room is a no no. To get towels for the pool its a mission. I would not stay there again even if it was free. Having to take a shower standing on dirty water is horrible. For the money is not worth it.

Yelp
A nice experience overall although they forgot to provide us with a crib and pillows right away. The pool is small but it's still really nice. The drinks are okay. The people are really nice. A really nice stay overall. The rooms were really nice too. Two queen beds.

Yelp
Very very lovely stay we had! Right by the beautiful Atlantic Ocean! The pool was so cold but yet so amazing! The hot tub water was not at all hot! I mean why call it a hot tub when the water is not even hot? Other than that it was the most amazing and comforting stay I have ever had!

Yelp
I loved PR and this is half the reason. This is a beautiful resort that is so relaxing and calm that you immediately feel better about your life and the world. This is a closed resort with 2 out door pools, a jacuzzi, a beach and a bar open somewhere all the time. I liked the food that they had to offer and people working there were awesome. They were super friendly, as someone else said AND it seemed like everyone knew how to make a good drink. I went to a wedding there and the food that was provided was so great. The ceviche was great, the drinks amazing and the buffet they provided was too good to be true. My one issue was with the ants. It sounds crazy, but me and my travel buddies had to keep everything off the floor (Bags, shoes, luggage) because of the ants. They were everywhere. On the wall, around the bed, on the desk. At one point, they were crawling around our toothbrushes and we elevated those too. When I go to Puerto Rico, I will be comparing every place to this one, for sure.

Yelp
This hotel has passed it's heyday. The location is really beautiful but the hotel and services seem dated. It lacks basic things like phone and Internet service, coffee in the lobby, room service and lunch that's not bar food, all begin to wear on you. Their restarant coffee is the worst I've had anywhere, it's gray. The staff is nice and do the best they can with limited resources. Rooms are ok. Dengue Fever, from mosquitos was a real threat while there. With updates, this hotel could be beautiful again...
google avatar

Gary T.

Yelp
This 2.5 - 3 star property (and I'm being generous) looks much better on the website than it does in person. The beach shown on the website photos has eroded. That's not the fault of the hotel, but it was the first disappointment. The "deluxe" room was anything but that. Thin sheets, cheap pillows, fluorescent light bulbs (minus the burnt out bulb in the bathroom ceiling) and popcorn ceilings create a rather seedy ambience. The creaky elevator in building four did not inspire confidence, so I mostly took the stairs. The view from my balcony was beautiful, but that did not make up for the rest of this very dated property. Go with low expectations and you might not be disappointed.
google avatar

Neluta G.

Yelp
This place may be good for vacation but not for business travel. There is no gym, only literally a hotel room on the upper floor converted into a gym. There is no functional internet. The rooms smell like mold. Several times I had to ask to have my room cleaned. There is no bottled water if the bar is closed. Restaurant service extremely SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. Don't adventure to run on the beach, there are a lot of wild dogs on the beach so it is not safe. There are other great places in Puerto Rico that you can stay at for vacation, unfortunately if you go to Anasco for business there are not a lot of choices.

Yelp
My husband and I love Rincón the hotel and the people is very nice and good service thank you we can't wait to come back again

I canceled my reservations 4 days in advance and they refused to give my money back. Be very careful with these people. I will book at a different location next time.

Yelp
Dissappointed to say the least. I was so looking forward for my stay in rincon beach resort. I've been told it was great. My family rented two 8-person suites with kitchen. We had problems with the lighting, tv, refrigerator (gave us a new refrigerator 1 hr after checking in), stove not working. I felt like we were given a room that was not suitable for guest. The room was missing a dinning table chair. When I asked for one extra chair... the staff asked me if I need it. The furniture was all different colors (not on purpose). The air conditioner did not work the second day... this has been the worst experience. Upon everything... they were not willing to make our stay more comfortable. They treated my mom like they are used to receiving this bad feedback. I would not recommend this hotel.

Yelp
Definitely not worth the price. Rooms were mediocre and dark. "Ocean view" was more of a tree view. I couldn't see the water at all. Bartender Antonio was awesome. The other staff weren't that friendly. When I walked in, the lady at the front was on the phone and took 10 minutes before she even acknowledged me standing there. I was there on the weekday so it was super quiet and dead. I don't know why they market it as Rincon beach resort. It's not even in rincon. You have to drive at least 15 min to get in to town Beautiful beach views when you're down there. More so for older folks who are looking for quiet and peaceful vibes. Not great for solo travelers

Yelp
Booked one night at the Rincón Beach Resort because I had a one week stay already booked for new years! Came down from Arizona Wanted to try it first! Thank God I got to experienced it before I allowed them to mess up my upcoming new years! First I called for an early check in and they said the Hotel was fully booked so they couldn't grant me an early check in that I had to show up at 3pm! So we get there at 3pm and a very closed minded- robotic individual called Javier told me that my room wasn't ready! First he said he didn't know when it'd be ready then he said That I needed to wait maybe another hour/ hour an a half until my room was ready! I was like, "are we getting a credit for the hour we are losing?" And he said no repeatedly and proceeded to ask me for my credit card to charge me $200 for the night! We kept on going back and forth, until another employee heard us and came over and asked me what was going on and she told Javier, "We have extra rooms, why didn't you check and put her in another one that's ready?" And he said nothing! She immediately took over and gave me a room! Mind you I had booked two rooms ($400) so I got the keys to both! Now this is what you get when you stay in this so called "resort" 1. Constant No's, No- for this, No-for that etc! 2. Beach has no umbrellas and about 10 beach chairs. 3. We called for Breakfast in bed 3 times with no luck, we called the front desk and they said the restaurant was full! Really, a RESORT and it's full! They also have no menus in the rooms! We ended up eating outside the resort at some bakery! 4. One towel for the pool! When I asked Javier for a second towel he said NO just one! 5. My second room had cold water the entire time when we called they said they were going to send someone at 5pm and the person got there at 12am! 6. It looks like it needs major updating, from the firm beds (no pillow tops) only two pillows/bath towels, no shampoo, or lotions! I GET IT THEY WENT THROUGH A HURRICANE BUT THEY ARE NOT CHARGING POST HURRICANE CHARGES! We had to pay $200 for each room and these rooms were mediocre at best and the service is TERRIBLE!!!! I went ahead and canceled my $1,200 New Years booking because this is unacceptable I rather stay elsewhere!

Yelp
worst decision you will make .. Number one the hotel isn't even located in Rincon By far the worst service I have ever experienced in every aspect room was very gloomy took us about an hour and a half to get checked in because there was only one employee working they have bars in the pool that not one time open their bar in side the lobby doesn't open till 4 o'clock in the afternoon you can only order food to 330 by the pool breakfast restaurant was horrendous took us about 30 minutes Just to get water and another 30 for coffee coffee came out with the food not to mention they gave me the wrong order worst hotel experience They should not have Rincon in their name

Yelp
This is a resort of medium rank. It is a great value; staff is friendly and helpful; very clean. Restaurant mediocre. Rent a paddle board and have fun!

Yelp
Nothing really good or bad. A-OK was about the best I coud come up with. NOT in Rincon.. just an FYI.. this hotel is in Anasco, so you must drive through Rincon to get there. A little out of the way for the wedding we attended in Aguadilla. Location wasn't a huge deal.. Positives: +Free Parking +Cheap food ($20 breakfasts for 2) +Calm ocean water for little swimmers +Wheelchair accessible rooms and grounds (ramps, parking) Whatevers: -Beach water is not clear or tropical at all.. could have been on the Jersey shore -Kids are kind of everywhere -Courtyard area has dated and dirty outdoor furniture -Rooms are all ocean views, but dark like a cave I wouldn't stay here again, but I think its a nice getaway for locals that want a beach/family oriented location. Front desk staff were average-- not super helpful, but the waitresses at breakfast were very courteous and nice.

Yelp
The Rincon Beach Resort has hotel rooms and villas, which are privately owned and then rented out to the hotel. Our friends own one of these villas and invited us for a few days there. The place is very nice, with an amazing view of the wonderful beach as soon as you walk into the open air lobby. They have a great bar right there so you can start your vacation early. The villa has two bedrooms with a bathroom each and a common area in the middle of both rooms with a full kitchen, dining room and living room. The pool area is fantastic with the perfect water temperature and a great pool bar with excellent service. You have easy access to the beach right by the pool, so you can catch some waves and then relax . Their food is amazing too, with us enjoying our daily margaritas with corn fritters, fried mozzarella sticks, great tasting chicken wings and even a hot dog with awesome fries. All in all, it was a wonderful amazing and relaxing stay. We wonderful service and the best company ever.

Yelp
My wife & I had dinner at the onsite restaurant, Brasas, and found it to be generally awful. It was midweek during the off-season... perhaps the chef was on vacation and the grill was manned by the dishwasher. We were given a flavorless tomato salsa and fried flour tortilla chips. Flour? Ick. Ordered the scallops in garlic butter as an appetizer. They were colorless and hard as an eraser, and covered in a tremendous quantity of garlic... there was probably a teaspoon of chopped garlic on each one. This was served with two hockey pucks of bread. If they were meant to be toast they would be brown and warm. If they were meant to be croutons they would be flavored. This was bread devoid of life. Barren. Dessicated. Dinner for me was to be a filet of snapper in a mojito sauce with Mamaposteo rice. The fish came out completely white, dry, flavorless, and unseasoned. I can only imagine that they defrosted the fish in the microwave only to discover that it was overcooked, then decided it would be better to serve it that way than to risk further damage by continuing with the recipe. My wife enjoyed her sea bass, but found the risotto side dish to be leaden. On the plus side unappetizing fish and the the fact that they never took our drink order meant that there was plenty of space in the belly to find some decent food in the roadside stands that make eating in PR worthwhile. Why two stars and not one? Air conditioning. I needed it and it was good. So... if you're staying in Rincon, it's not worth the drive. If you're staying at the resort, order robust foods. Nothing easily overcooked.

Yelp
Great little resort. Enjoyed the grounds. Great pool and beach area. Friendly staff. Had a bit of a wait trying to check in even though we had already paid online. The restrooms could use better cleaning but all in all a great stay. Nice balcony on the 4th floor. Will stay here again.

Yelp
I realize businesses are different due to Covid but now is the time to step up your game. There was a year+ of lost revenue. Why not get tourism going again the right way? Our 1st time staying here and will never come back. It wasn't the worst but definitely far from the best. The food at Brasas Restaurant on site was amazing!!! Breakfast is over at 10am then nothing on site until 11:30 by the pool and very limited selection. The pool was great but closes at 7pm! There's a pool bar which is not open. There's absolutely no music at the pool so bring your own music. THERE IS NO BEACH ON THIS RESORT. Which they don't tell you when you book. The rooms are just ok. The pillows were pancake thin so we had to request more pillows after having to fold ours in half the 1st night. i called the front desk from my cell ( of course the room phone was broken) and for 20 minutes nobody answered. I went downstairs and there were TWO ladies up front, neither on a call.. I stood right by them and dialed again and neither answered the phone. of course I went up to them and said I've been calling for 20 minutes and she says oh.. They have this ridiculous beach towel policy where you have to return towels and get cards to come back and get clean towels. Other than that I guess you get what you pay for! Ricon Beach Resort play some music at the pool, buy some thicker pillows, leave the pool open later, maybe 9pm and maybe serve breakfast till 11? Most people on vacation do not wake up early!

Yelp
The hotel is nice but not updated, however it's a nice place to stay. The WIFI is not extended and is not available in all rooms and areas. The conference rooms are like freezer and no desirable to stay there for long. Front desk service is just OK and not always helpful.

Yelp
Nice quiet place. The beach is beautiful! The grounds need a little TLC and the beach tables and chairs look like they need to be replaced soon but everything was in good working condition. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. I would stay here again.

Yelp
I have stayed here before and was an alright hotel. I booked a stay for business and the hotel "changed" their cancellation policies and I am out the cancellation $100. Reservations was extremely rude and told me I should stay somewhere else next time. To say the least I will follow their advice.

Yelp
Avoid this place if at all possible. If you are a bug enthusiast, or want to find some very unhelpful staff to get into arguments with, this might be the place for you. The sheets were covered in stains in our room, the place was very old, and the entrance looked like something out of an old horror movie. The wifi barely works, the room keys stop working if you have them anywhere near your cellphone, the pool is rundown, and if it rains your room will be filled with bugs coming in from under your door.

Yelp
Made reservations after reading all the reviews getting worried. I just hope they have improved on the service and cleaness . Attending a wedding in January all my friends will attend. I just hope we are not disappointed since Villa Cofresi has better rating.

Yelp
Husband and I went around the island for our honeymoon and our last stop was Rincon. This was our 2nd fav hotel in all of the ones we stayed in Puerto Rico. I don't know why the yelp reviews are so low! 1st of all, how are people shocked that it's NOT in Rincon?! Did you not read the address when you booked it?!?! The rooms are big and decent. It's a beach hotel, nothing fancy but it's not horrible! They have a huge pool, huge hot tub! Amazing view from the room we were in. The beach is nice and clean. People were nice and quiet. Free parking. Bar is open till 11pm. Restaurant is open till 10pm and it's pretty good. Only bad thing was that we got a drink and got overcharged, my husband asked the guy about it he said "taxes" uh $6 in taxes is not right! After that we just didn't buy anything from that guy. We did get another drink later that day from the other bar and we were charged right. Our waiter at the restaurant was super nice and helpful! He gave me so many tips on things to see In PR. Yes, the elevator smelled kinda funky but after being in PR for a month I have come to learn that Puerto Rico's houses, hotels, restaurants etc smell weird! I think it's the humidity. Our room wasn't even that bad smelling, I smelt worse during out trip! +AC works + good restaurant + beautiful beach +clean + free parking + you get towels for beach/pool + quiet + not expensive

Yelp
I stayed in November and the weather was great. The Room was clean but lack the modern amenities. Great location to the beach.. The restaurant was amazing food that serve Breakfast and Dinner. I enjoy their Seafood Mofongo. it was delicious!! The Lobby Bar was great location for after drinks after a dinner and watch some football. The bartender was very attentive to our needs. I notice the orange cones around the property suppose to say "Caution Wet floor" I guess you supposed to know.. Overall the property lack of cleaning in the common areas including the beach areas.

Yelp
Made reservations for two rooms and requested king size beds last April. When we checked in only one room with king bed was available, they said that they could not guarantee the bed size. WTF?! The truth is that the room was available but they gave it to my wife's sister, but she checked in after us and had requested two bedrooms. WTF?! When we went to our rooms both had a puddle of water under the AC's windows. The maid mopped the puddles, but carried the soaked mop dropping water across the room. So we had to use one of the towels to dry the floor, and the towel ended up all filthy. Didn't they clean the room? All rooms have a safe, but none of them worked. WTF?! And, they require us to wear a pink plastic wristband all the time. My wife is going to look gorgeous with her dress, (we're going to our nephew's wedding). Oh, the WiFi is useless most of the time. Other than this, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the pool was nice and so is the beach. But, at $200/night, I expected better service from the staff.

Yelp
i stayed at rincon beach resort for 3 nights for work, and would avoid every way possible to stay away from this property in the future. pros - beautiful lobby, garden and pool area - private beach - restaurant with decent food cons - outdated and ugly, hideous room - dirty sheets - hard bed - not enough vanity space (didn't even have space to put a tooth brush) - slow wi-fi speed - the bar cross the street (couldn't go to sleep until 2am on a friday night) - water leaking from toilet which spilled into the tiled entry way (almost slipped on my first day) - nothing much to do within 10 mile radius - that decent food is not cheap supposedly, this is the best hotel in rincon/anasco area... :(

Yelp
My high school recently celebrated our 40th class reunion at the Rincon Beach Resort. The facility was perfect for our group and the staff was incredibly helpful. It was a wonderful weekend and we can not wait to return. I would highly recommend it!

Yelp
Beautiful beach area. Unfortunately, over prices for the quality of service. Rooms are nothing to boast about. Front desk had no customer service experience. We came here to attend a wedding and front desk was not accommodating at all. We were in a bit of a hurry because we were going to miss the wedding ceremony, so we asked the lady at the front desk if she could take credit card info and do the charges of credit card a bit later, after the ceremony...she didn't not care and proceeded with the unnecessary extremely lengthy check-in process. We travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels/resorts, but never have we had to pay for our rooms on the first day of check-in and with such a lengthy, time consuming process. Specially when we asked for understanding in our time of need to be able to attend the wedding ceremony taking place inside their hotel!!

Yelp
I would come back here a million times over. The prices are ridiculously reasonable, the staff is super friendly, the amenities are nice, the rooms are nice enough and the view is amazing. It is family friendly without being loaded with screaming kids, and let's be honest, the West Coast of Puerto Rico is AMAZING! This is a surfers paradise (or at least as good as it gets in PR).

Yelp
Rincon Beach Resort has a beautiful location, though technically is not in Rincon proper. The gated parking area and security guards lend some semblance of increased safety for tourists. The rooms are somewhat outdated, and the closet smelled musty. The resort could benefit from a remodel and a good cleaning, but the tropical climate probably contributed to the odor in the room. The worst thing was the janky keycard! It would take anywhere from 5-20 attempts to get into the room which is never what you want, and detracted from the more positive qualities of my experience. The ground level patio off the pool and short stay were the main reasons we did not request a room change due to the key card. This is a family friendly resort secluded from surrounding restaurants, and bars (you will need to drive to get to anything). The beach access is excellent for swimming and lounging with a tropical cocktail, and probably is the biggest contributing factor to the higher price of accommodations here.

Yelp
We loved this place! Located on a beautiful and private beach with lounge chairs and a pool with jacuzzi. Staff were all super friendly and kept the beer flowing. The rooms were clean and comfortable with air conditioning that works like a charm. We came when it was quiet so the pool bar wasn't open but it was not a problem as the resort bar is right there anyway. We ate at the restaurant and had a really yummy meal. I have no complaints. Would definitely come back.
