I stayed at this lovely resort for a month. It is set in a large family owned coconut farm only a hundred metres away from all the main scuba diving businesses that cater for scuba training on the coral reefs directly out from the resort. The boats that take divers out to swim with the mantas etc. are also anchored at the entrance to the resort. Because I am interested in birds, it was a pleasant surprise to find that one of the world's rarest birds frequent the large native trees that are amongst the coconut trees. It's a white myna bird. They would come to eat small fig type berries next to the breakfast area. Apparently there is only about 140 surviving birds in the world. They not only survive here, but are starting to thrive because cats and other predators from Bali are discouraged from the farm. The rooms in the hotel section are very large and well appointed, with a massive traditional roofed reception/lounge area at the front, which is great for relaxation out of the sun. The pool is large, which allowed me to get my 2km swim in without too many turnarounds. It has lots of bungalows for families, but because I travel alone, I didn't get to see them up close. But I do know that they were all built around the same time as the hotel section. So I'd imagine they would have the same modern in room conveniences. All very clean with well trained and friendly staff. The breakfasts were always nice and varied and the cafe was modern with a great pizza oven....and the usual local meals, inexpensive and tasty. The location is in the middle of the two ferry terminals and on the ring road. All and all, I highly recommend this resort. Mike

A comfortable place to stay with a large garden. This place provides spacious, comfortable, and clean rooms. The staff are friendly and ready to help. Access to the harbor is also not too far. If you are lazy to find food outside, this hotel also provides a variety of foods. In addition, this hotel can also provide snorkeling trips or land trips around Nusa Penida. You can also find many dive centers around this hotel.

This resort was so quiet with trees surrounding it. Breakfast was varied and ready to eat before we went diving. The pool was delightful to swim in and drink a beer. The restaurant had good food. I liked the chicken pizza. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Wonderful Stay at Ring Sameton Resort! I had a great experience at Ring Sameton Resort Hotel in Nusa Penida. The location was perfect very close to the beach and within easy reach of all the island’s famous destinations. It made exploring Nusa Penida so convenient. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the setting added to the relaxing vibe of the trip. A great choice for anyone looking to stay somewhere comfortable and well-situated!

My husband and I spent one week in this resort. It was adequate: the shower had hot water and the air conditioning worked well enough. Our bungalow room was huge. On the other hand, the place is old and worn out, the garden is overgrown and mossy, the pool area has cracks and holes around, and the room (being in a jungle on ground level) was full of bugs, spiders and lizards. After bringing us three safety boxes, none of which worked, the staff finally gave up on that. But overall the experience was fine.

So I booked my advance diving with Pure dive, and on their website the advertised to be partnering with (Ring Sameton resort hotel) so I paid 9600000 IDR for my 3N4D dives including accommodation. Which is quite a lot (around £400+) so I would expect my resort to be decent. - The room - it’s a very good sized private bungalow room, it’s big! But everything was very outdated, or don’t even work: the room phone doesn’t work, y dirty, if the staff are all just sitting around getting paid, they should at least do some basic cleaning. My room got cleaned daily as in their made my bed, new towels - the locks on the wardrobe are rusty also doesn’t lock - the actual lock at the e main front door was broken one day. - The poolside shower doesn’t work, the sun loungers are very old. - The pool side restaurant didn’t have any I asked for (basic things like coconut drink) and lots of other fruit smoothies that I asked for - I had messaged the WhatsApp number, someone got back to me, and they went and got some coconut, which I was grateful and excited to purchase, but when I weird the ladies that was working at the restaurant if it’s cold; they said it wasn’t - the coconuts was left sitting in the table after purchasing and they didn’t have the initiative to do anything with it, but always just sitting around chilling chatting on their phone, sleeping. - the staff are extremely lazy, can see them all just laying around, sitting bf around chilling. - The day I was checking out. I had left my luggage at the reception to come back to collect, I had a massive luggage, my taxi got here, and none of the staff helped at all all just sat around the dinning room at the reception, I have been to Bali 8 times in my life: Nusa Penida ( 5 times, I have always known Balinesenese pellle to be kind but it’s changed,) also this is basic hospitality or human “norm” I don’t know but I would offer to help anyone if I see them struggling Overall the space is really good but staff/ and everything needs a major change. Love my balcony door that leads to this back bit which looks like a little jungle beautiful to look at

We stayed here during a dive holiday and the room had everything we needed. It was clean, close to the dive center, within walking distance from many nice restaurants, had a great pool, was quiet, and the breakfast starts at 6:30 which was perfect for our early dives. The ladies at the front desk also arranged for a driver for us for one day, which was very convenient as well. I assume everyone who complains in the comments here has never been to a tropical country before, because...there are animals there, especially insects, and that's actually how it's supposed to be. The view from our room was into the forest, which was beautiful and I really enjoyed seeing some animals from bed!

Location was awesome and grounds were beautiful. It was less than 5 minutes from the dive shop we used, easy to walk to (even with our luggage that we brought with us from th dive shop). But plumbing was broken in our room, and though facilities tried to fix it, they were unsuccessful and had to move us to another room. The other room was larger, but close to the front of the property and nearer to the beach but with that, the live band noise. Both rooms seemed a bit old, but other than plumbing problem and noise, rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast food was just OK. The staff was however amazing - got us on an earlier ferry when I realized my flight out of Bali was a few hours earlier than I had planned for. Kudos to the staff, amazing.
