We stayed here for a week as part of a week long dive trip to Penida with Pure Dive. It was very reasonably priced and in a large plot of land. ||It was a nice place with sweet lovely Balinese staff who introduced themselves by name. ||The room was big and clean and dark at night, so we have wonderful sleeps after two weeks of non stop diving on Komodo, Maumere and Padang Bai.||We loved Nusa Penida, which was way busier than we expected. And Pure Dive, almost next door were absolutely wonderful. breakfast, which was sometimes good and sometimes quite basic.||It is almost across the road for two wonderful funky beach restaurants with live music at night and brilliant food. There was a big clean pool that we loved.

We were really disappointed in this resort. We knew it was basic but it was also very dirty. We asked the housekeeping to clean the bathroom better, but we did not see any difference when coming back. We were staying in bungalow 29 for 6 nights. There were spiderwebs above our bed, the towels were not white anymore, the bathroom was dirty and had hair in it. Also the tiles on the walls look like they were NEVER cleaned before... The mirror was also disgusting. The curtains look like they are from the 90s, just like the furniture in the room. The resort REALLY needs a renovation as it is not well maintained at all. After the first night we already looked for another hotel, but unfortunately due to the Chinees holiday Golden Week the whole island was fully booked. Breakfast is very basic. They do not have anything vegan but the day after the first day they bought soy milk for me to at least eat some cereals. That was nice. I Cannot recommend this resort. The only plus is the location, really.

I stayed at this lovely resort for a month. It is set in a large family owned coconut farm only a hundred metres away from all the main scuba diving businesses that cater for scuba training on the coral reefs directly out from the resort. The boats that take divers out to swim with the mantas etc. are also anchored at the entrance to the resort. Because I am interested in birds, it was a pleasant surprise to find that one of the world's rarest birds frequent the large native trees that are amongst the coconut trees. It's a white myna bird. They would come to eat small fig type berries next to the breakfast area. Apparently there is only about 140 surviving birds in the world. They not only survive here, but are starting to thrive because cats and other predators from Bali are discouraged from the farm. The rooms in the hotel section are very large and well appointed, with a massive traditional roofed reception/lounge area at the front, which is great for relaxation out of the sun. The pool is large, which allowed me to get my 2km swim in without too many turnarounds. It has lots of bungalows for families, but because I travel alone, I didn't get to see them up close. But I do know that they were all built around the same time as the hotel section. So I'd imagine they would have the same modern in room conveniences. All very clean with well trained and friendly staff. The breakfasts were always nice and varied and the cafe was modern with a great pizza oven....and the usual local meals, inexpensive and tasty. The location is in the middle of the two ferry terminals and on the ring road. All and all, I highly recommend this resort. Mike

A comfortable place to stay with a large garden. This place provides spacious, comfortable, and clean rooms. The staff are friendly and ready to help. Access to the harbor is also not too far. If you are lazy to find food outside, this hotel also provides a variety of foods. In addition, this hotel can also provide snorkeling trips or land trips around Nusa Penida. You can also find many dive centers around this hotel.

This resort was so quiet with trees surrounding it. Breakfast was varied and ready to eat before we went diving. The pool was delightful to swim in and drink a beer. The restaurant had good food. I liked the chicken pizza. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Wonderful Stay at Ring Sameton Resort! I had a great experience at Ring Sameton Resort Hotel in Nusa Penida. The location was perfect very close to the beach and within easy reach of all the island’s famous destinations. It made exploring Nusa Penida so convenient. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the setting added to the relaxing vibe of the trip. A great choice for anyone looking to stay somewhere comfortable and well-situated!

We stayed here during a dive holiday and the room had everything we needed. It was clean, close to the dive center, within walking distance from many nice restaurants, had a great pool, was quiet, and the breakfast starts at 6:30 which was perfect for our early dives. The ladies at the front desk also arranged for a driver for us for one day, which was very convenient as well. I assume everyone who complains in the comments here has never been to a tropical country before, because...there are animals there, especially insects, and that's actually how it's supposed to be. The view from our room was into the forest, which was beautiful and I really enjoyed seeing some animals from bed!

Location was awesome and grounds were beautiful. It was less than 5 minutes from the dive shop we used, easy to walk to (even with our luggage that we brought with us from th dive shop). But plumbing was broken in our room, and though facilities tried to fix it, they were unsuccessful and had to move us to another room. The other room was larger, but close to the front of the property and nearer to the beach but with that, the live band noise. Both rooms seemed a bit old, but other than plumbing problem and noise, rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast food was just OK. The staff was however amazing - got us on an earlier ferry when I realized my flight out of Bali was a few hours earlier than I had planned for. Kudos to the staff, amazing.
