Ringhotel Weisser Hirsch Wernigerode

It was warm, cosy room. They put a bed story next to your bed. That was cute. The story relates to the name of the hotel. Wonderful!!!It is next to the central city Christmas market!!! You can feel the Christmas in the air!!! It is 15 minutes from station, easy to find. Delicious breakfast. Everyone was so friendly!

We love this Hotel. Nice room was comfortable and big. The bed was large, comfortable, with exceptionally good linens that had a pleasant smell. Location - in the centre of the city, in front of the Rathaus, the way to the Castle is easy by walking. Very pleasant personal, own parking, everything!

I feel so grateful to have been recommended this hotel, it was the best decision to stay here! The staff and owners were extremely generous and helpful. The rooms were spacious, had very comfortable beds, and had the best air conditioning I experienced from a hotel in all of Germany. The location is perfectly placed in the middle of a town square and is easily accessible to dozens of stores and cafes. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had an incredible variety of foods! I will definitely return and stay here in the future.

Very beautiful hotel located at the marketplace just vis-a-vis the beautiful town hall. Very quiet. Super friendly staff everywhere in this hotel. Very nice and big rooms (we booked comfort category) with direct view to the marketplace. Very good breakfast. The only we missed was a coffee machine in the room. However, there is probably not a better place to stay in Wernigerode. We also booked a welcome package with sparkling wine, chocolate, and fresh fruits, which is very recommended. We will definitely come back.

The hotel was nice and the surrounding really Picturesque exactly what you expect from a small german village. ||staff where healpful food was ok the first night really good the second night. the local wine and beer was really good. |more of an elderly cliental in the place so the staff are mindful of this in the restaurant.

Stayed during a festiniog travel holiday to the Harz mountains railway. In central Wernigerode. Could not fault anything about the hotel a great experience. Breakfast buffet great. Evening meal in restaurant. Good value and good food cost approximately euro 38. Half liter of local beer would happily return.

What can I say. Historic establishment that has been a hotel continuously since the 18th century. No expenses were spared in the renovations as the place is in top shape. The location cannot get better as this hotel is literally on the town square. One point however that I have made in quite a few hotels lately. You install these nice and modern TVs, and then you go ahead and lock them down with sub-par hospitality software. It's 2024 we should be able to cast from our mobile devices to the room TV's with significant ease, or at least use the in-set apps like Netflix to watch something other than Local German TV.

We stayed three nights on a road trip to the Harz. The historic hotel is situated in beautifully restored buildings at the central Marktplatz in Wernigerode. Good parking is available behind the hotel at EUR 12/day.||Our room was spacious, very clean and quiet and equipped with most of the amenities you would expect, including air con, a safe and minibar, and we only missed the opportunity to make our own coffee. The bathroom was also very nice and clean and housekeeping was excellent.||Our package included dinner and the food and service in the restaurant was excellent. The wine list was really impressive too.||The included breakfast was very good with a large selection of hot and cold items and we really enjoyed our stay here. |
