Large hotel with a great view of the Huallaga River from their third floor restaurant. Good front desk service. The matrimonial room they gave me was too small with outdated decoration and style. The air-conditioning in my room did not work so we had to change rooms. The shower had plenty hot water. The internet was good for the jungle. The restaurant had good service but the food was not worth the cost. We ordered fish and steak plates and both were disappointing. During my stay their Conference Hall was being used a Saturday for a wedding party with loud music and screams all evening. We could hear all this from our room.

Nice food and friendly staff with good views of the river. A good breeze comes. in through the windows. Probably the best place in town. It was clean (including the toilets) and we felt safe eating there so chowed down a few salads and hamburgers with lettuce, tomato, etc. Some of the food is fairly simple and if you only speak English you get some weird translations from Google translate but that's not the restaurants issue.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights we booked last minute while on a trip from Tarapoto. We stayed in room 11 which had a nice balcony with hammock and view of the river. The bed was comfy the bath room nice enough with good hot shower. Good air con. We went to the pool once but it was dirty so I decided not to go in. We are at the restaurant every night because there really is no choice in this town. The chef is second rate but I understand that he was about to be replaced. The breakfast was terrible and the service poor. What really made this stay 4 star was the service provided by the manager who could not do enough to make our stay great he even took us across the river to visit the hotels Camu camu plantation. If i returned to this town i would certainly stay here again but I ask, please do something about your food service.

The staff and hotel itself were really nice. However, we had hard time trying to sleep here. We got a lot of calls to our room by mistake, including at 4am. We also heard (very loudly) a man snoring in the room next door and roosters crowing all the night. It was really hard to get a quality sleep here. The wifi in the room wasn't working at all.||We booked a tour to Pacaya-Samiria in hotel's travel agency and the employee Luiz Gerard lied to us about almost everything. We were told that we will get a guide who speaks English, a cook and a rower. He also told us that we pay higher price here, because everything is included. We were informed that we can choose from many meal options and we can eat chicken for every meal if we want, while in other angencies only fish was possible. None of this was true. We got a great guide, but he couldn't speak a word in English and he was also working as a cook and a rower (3 in 1 :P). We could only eat fish for all the meals and we had to pay additionally for a room in Lagunas. It appeared that the agency was just a middleman and the trip was arranged by the agency in Lagunas (Huayruro Tours), so we would be better off buying a trip directly from there and we wouldn't be misinformed.

I have returned to this wonderful place and agar the personnel have been nothing but amazing! incredibly friendly and helpful staff went out of their way to ensure I had a truly memorable experience. The Peruvian cuisine offered by the restaurant was absolutely delicious! The view of the river is magnificent! I can't wait to go back to Yurimaguas!

We stayed 3 nights in this great hotel waiting for a riverboat to take us down to Iquitos. We found the room comfortable and especially enjoyed the view from our balcony as well as the top floor of the restaurant which offered a spectacular vista of the river particularly when a big tropical thunderstorm rolled through. We found this to be the best place to eat in Yurimaguas and I can recommend both the paiche and steak dishes.||The staff were very friendly and even threw me an impromtu birthday party complete with singing and cake when they heard I was turning 60.||We will certainly return the next time we visit Yurimaguas.

This hotel is probably one of the most expensive in Yurimaguas, but remains affordable in Western terms. Rooms are clean, quiet, not that spacious but each have a private bathroom. We were in a room with a fan not an AC, and it was fine. For me the main and big "plus" are real good service from the staff, a really good restaurant inside the hotel which serves from breakfast through dinner semi local really good food at affordable prices, a swimming pool and a wifi enabled area near the reception desk ... all of which are quite a luxury in Yurimaguas to be fair. We were there during the rainy season which is a quiet period of the year, so it might be different during the high season.

We stayed at this hotel on our way to and from visiting Pacaya-Samiria. The staff were warm and exceptionally helpful. We were having trouble with an airline reservation and Marco stayed late to help us until we had the problem taken care of. The restaurant is lovely with a beautiful view of the river and great food.
