What a wonderful stay at Hotel Rioca Vienna Posto 2! From the moment I walked in I was delighted by the stylish decor and thoughtful details throughout the hotel. The team truly goes out of their way for guests — little touches like the complimentary coffee and tea made me feel immediately welcome and at home. I also loved the gaming room, which was a fun bonus and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, and attention to detail made this visit a real pleasure. I definitely recommend staying here!

This is an affordable and comfortable place to stay. The rooms are very clean, and the location is relatively close to the metro station, with plenty of supermarkets nearby, making it convenient for daily needs. What I didn’t like was the service at the reception. Marco, our receptionist, spoke in Portuguese with his colleague in front of us, which felt unprofessional, and he incorrectly stated that I had received an upgrade, when in fact I booked a studio-apartment room and received exactly that. Communication overall was also a challenge. Although I booked months in advance, email responses were very slow or sometimes nonexistent, resulting in staff not being familiar with my booking details at check-in. Overall, the location and comfort are good, but the service and communication could be significantly improved.

I’ve been living here since the end of August, and I couldn’t feel more at home. The staff are friendly, cheerful, and always willing to help. The free coffee from 7 to 16 is the cherry on top, making my stay even more pleasant. Marco is our go-to person—super supportive and helpful, always available for a quick chat. I’ve had an amazing experience here as a new Viennese trying to integrate and make sense of everything around me. Keep it up, Riocas!

Upon arrival the receptionist told us that the breakfast was 20€ for the whole stay (5 nights). And in the morning we went to pay and the lady in the restaurant told us that a single breakfast meal is 20€ which is crazy. The breakfast was very bad, not much of a choice. So not very worth it in my opinion. Literally 2 steps next to the hotel is a Dermann bakery and a sandwich there is between 5-7€ so much better than their breakfast. Except that the hotel was very clean, amazing location with options for s bahn, u bahn, buses and trams. There are Billa and penny 3 minutes away from the hotel. There is a domino pizza shop 5 minutes away. We loved it and we would go there again for sure. The hairdryer that was given was amazing too. The kitchen box is very nice but keep in mind that there are no pans and other stuff for cooking. Would recommend! *the pictures are after we used the room so keep that in mind, we messed it up! 😂*

This is a reasonable priced hotel in an unreasonable priced city. The room (apartment) was clean and modern. The beds were comfortable. There was a kitchen corner were you could make some some food. The bathroom was OK, but toilet paper was scarce. The reception was small but functional. The staff was very friendly and helpful. But, if you want to buy breakfast (not included) you will need to go to the neighboring restaurant. 70 EUR for breakfast for a family of four is expensive. And the serving was quite ordinary. The neighborhood was calm and quiet. To enjoy the city you will need to walk for 15 minutes to use the underground.

I want to give a huge thank you to Marco for his amazing support and attitude. After a 4-hour flight delay we arrived at 1 a.m., well past the usual check-in time, and Marco was incredibly kind and helpful — he made a stressful situation feel so much easier. The room was lovely and had everything we needed; we felt comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay. Overall a wonderful experience — friendly staff, great service, and a very pleasant room. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing stay at Rioca Vienna! The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, and equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The location is also very convenient — close to public transport, which made getting around the city easy. I also really enjoyed the gym — it was spotless and had all the necessary equipment. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vienna!

Rioca is an excellent hotel in Vienna that truly impressed us with its quality and welcoming atmosphere. The apartments are spotless, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated with themes inspired by Rio de Janeiro, bringing a cheerful and vibrant touch to the stay. The reception area feels cozy, and having Brazilian staff members adds a warm, familiar vibe that makes guests feel right at home. The rooms include a fully equipped kitchen, which is very convenient for those who prefer flexibility and independence during their trip. Breakfast is spectacular, fresh, and delicious. The hotel bar also serves Brazilian snacks that are a real treat. Don’t miss the caipirinha—it’s a must-try! The staff deserves special recognition: Denis, Héctor, Gaúcho, and others (whose names I unfortunately don’t recall) were always attentive, offering tips about the city and helping whenever possible. Their hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Rioca Posto 2 Vienna Hotel to anyone looking for comfort, practicality, and a touch of Brazilian warmth in Vienna.
