Riofavara

We traveled with another couple and all of us agree this place is great! The rooms are very large and comfortable, as is the modern bathroom. The bed is very comfortable, and is the only king bed I have encountered in our travels in Italy. This was a very quiet property, and one of the only places we stayed and did not need earplugs.There is a large selection of their wines in the room when you arrive, which you are free to open and consume. The fridge is filled with water, soda and snacks, which you are also free to consume. We were greeted on our arrival by the very friendly owner/host, and enjoyed our interactions whenever we ran into him as we wandered the property. Our first night, we were so tired from our drive, and what with the wine, crackers and fresh fruit in the room, we decided to have supper in the room. When the owner saw this, he brought a tray of cheeses for us to complete the menu. Delicious! The breakfast was very good, in a very pleasant, expansive room, and we were asked what time we wanted breakfast each morning. It was just a wonderful experience. You need to have a car to stay at this winery, because meals, except for breakfast, are not available. But if you do have a car, the town is nearby, with good restaurant choices. And the nearby hill towns are good day trips. Fun place to stay!

Our best B&B ever. Pics look nice but reality even better. Friendly hosts also run the vineyard with great wines. Gorgeous large rooms with superb bed, bathroom, complimentary filled fridge. Played tennis at next door country club, where you can also swim. Fantastic environment, we received great recommendations for restaurant in beautiful Rosolini. Wonderful breakfast. Luxury all over.

We spent the evening doing a wine tasting! The young lady that walked us through the tastings was knowledgeable and easy on the eyes! But the tastings and food was incredible! Highly recommend!

Massimo and Margherita were lovely hosts. We visited Riofavara for a sunset wine tasting and dinner. We tried 5 delicious wines (red, white & rosé varieties) and ate local dishes. Would recommend!

Amazing experience...Maximo y Marguerita are amazing hosts and the wine tasting with them made us feel and taste some of the passion of the generations dedicated to the art of producing exclusive, individual and carefully chosen wine personalities. And the place is gorgeous!

Clementina was a great host - it was great to learn about the ancient, indigenous grapes used in their wine like Nsjár. We really enjoyed the wines she chose for us based on our personal likes & the setting is beautiful

Le stanze per il soggiorno sono confortevoli e rendono l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Un posto tranquillo, autentico e gestito con passione — consigliato a chi vuole scoprire il vino e il territorio con semplicità e gusto. Super consigliate anche le degustazioni se siete in zona!
