Rip Curl - Santa Monica

Love all the options here. There were so many cute shirts and bathing suits. The staff was super helpful. After helping us size a wetsuit told us how to size a board. It was so helpful and generous of him!

The sales staff went above and beyond for me while I was shopping for a rash guard.  I had an injury and couldn’t try it on myself and the employee put it on because she was similar in size.  I don’t know, it was just a really sweet gesture I think and shows they’ll go above and beyond for their customers.

Visited the Rip Curl store in Santa Monica to buy swim trunks. I don't wear the mask because I don't watch TV + I have conditions (can't breathe) + it's against constitution and human rights but who cares right. I politely explained that to the employees, but they recommended me to leave the store.

Happened to see this great pair of blue and white board shorts that I just loved. My other swimwear is getting a bit worn down and with warm weather hopefully coming soon these will be a great addition to my wardrobe.

This store has cute fits. But I refuse to go there and make sure people know about my experience there. I was not helped and I was followed around the store like I was going to steal something. It was very degrading. Only when I stood next to my Caucasian husband was I left alone. I don’t understand why people still judge others for their ethnicity especially in a place like Santa Monica!! If you’re blonde and look like a surfer girl then you’ll be accepted here. Otherwise Good luck. Hopefully management has changed since u went here and they have better helpful staff.

Great store they gots the best wet suits. idk why this woman felt that way cuz when I was in there a couple months ago (Im a minority) I felt totally comfortable and not degrading at all lol. Plus every time I roll in there the staff is mostly not caucasian lol

The staff here is super nice! I've had many different wetsuits, but Rip Curl is the best! I don't even look at other labels anymore, they just don't compare. Every time I go to the Promenade I have to run in here and see all the latest finds. Only downside is that It's really hard to peel myself away from the big screens. I can watch surfing for hours.
