Terrific, eclectic spot in a great location! We drove down the Cassiar highway on our way back home from the Yukon, and were expecting to camp at Meziadin Junction, however discovered it was closed for the season. As it was raining that evening as well, a detour to Stewart made sense, and was a great stop. Frank, the manager met us at the door of the office that evening, was personable and made sure we had a room that was handy for the dog, and in reach of my truck, which we appreciated. The room was clean, quiet, well appointed and charming. The common areas were delightful and in conjunction with all the other parts, featured interesting curios and showcased a man's sense of pride in his business. LOVED the historic angle as well. The exterior felt like we were in a 1920s motor inn park. Also, the adjacent restaurant, Toastworks is no joke. Easily the best fajitas I've ever had, though being cold, tired and famished might have enhanced the experience admittedly. Still, the meal was just excellent. Make sure you start with chips and dip, as the three we had were amazing. Looking forward to staying again!
