Great place to observe flamingos and other birds and enjoy the nature. Pity it is so difficult to find info on opening hours Opening hours in February (not sure if these are anyhow different in other months) were 9.30 am till 4 pm. Entrance fee (3.5 EUR) to be paid by card only.

It was a great decision to go there. We saw flamingos on the distance but also it was a nice walk around. We were at the beginning of December and it was nice weather so we could see the birds. Amazing experience.

Beautiful place, clean and warm water (October). To get there you need to walk around 20 min from the nearby parking. E trance is 3.5 euro. You can go for hikes by the coast (2km, 7km)

Crystal clear sea water as soon as you pass the sea grass (natural and absolutely normal on site). Snorkeling is such a pleasure, especially close to the rocks of the Tonnara. Very well kept natural reserve with a long stretch of paths, the bird watchers will love this site as herons and flamingos (but not just) are easily spotted in the lagoons. Well worth the €3.50 ticket entrance, which, by the way, buys you access to other sites of the reserve during the day.

Private beach. The park and the entrance needs to be payed . To give us the preservation of this beautiful and stunning place. Perfect place to do trekking, along the sea. Take a perfect dive in to the different spots . Atmospheric place.

‘Hidden Gem’ - birding is fab here - we watched a Spoonbill furiously trotting and feeding through the lagoon amongst the flamingos and shrikes and reed warblers and lapwing. Gorgeous trek on the coastal path amongst fields of orchid and wild fennel and miniature iris. We ended with a swim at Calamosca beach - 15 minutes in very invigorating sea. Fascinating stop at an ancient tuna plant. A glorious escape from busy sightseeing. If you go here and are caught short needing a ‘comfort break’ please consider where you put your dirty paper - it’s not nice to see it on the path!

We visited Eloro beach, which is stunning. You leave you car on the road just outside the reserve and there's a €3.50 entrance fee. They only accept credit cards- no cash. It's a 10- minute walk to the lovely beach. The water is clear and the sand is clean. It wasn't too crowded when we were there in September.
