My wife found out about this jeweler who specializes in collecting antique Italian jewelry of the late 19th century, so we made sure to visit his shop when we were in Rome. His name is Massimo Risivi, and he opened this store nearly fifty years ago. His son, Luca, has opened a second store. They were super friendly, and although they spoke about as much English as we do Italian, we were all able to get along well. They spent quite a while helping us find a beautiful 19thC piece, which is unlike anything we've seen before. Being a solid gold antique, it had a substantial price, but it will only increase in value over time and will become a true family heirloom. My wife was thrilled to be able to wear it to the opening night of an opera at the San Carlo Theatre when we went to Naples. Thanks to the Risivi's for helping us find this unique memento of our trip to Italy!

went in to buy a gold pendant and was quoted a price of €200. I told them I’d be right back with cash, but when I returned, they suddenly changed the price to €300 and refused to honor the original price we agreed on. It felt like a bait-and-switch. I would avoid this place—they don’t stick to their word and seem more interested in taking advantage of customers than offering honest service.

Came to Rome with my fiance (from Canada) looking for a very special piece as a wedding present. We looked at the front display for a few minutes, saw some pieces that stylistically we were interested in (yellow gold, with diamonds and pearls) and decided to go in and ask about them and if they had anything else that may interest us. However after explaining what we were interested in (yellow gold and pearls) the worker told us "that's too expensive for you" and his coworker said nothing. So we left immediately. Luckily there is another jewellery shop a couple stores down towards the bridge that also had a lovely selection and we are happily in possession of the perfect wedding gift, with pearls, yellow gold and diamonds. I couldn't be more excited!!!!

I researched and went to this shop based on the positive reviews, and I was not disappointed. I found a lovely pendant that was exactly what I was looking for; elegant and unique. At the time I didn't have enough money to purchase the pendant. When I went back the store, it had already closed for the day. My husband and I were leaving Rome early the next morning, and I felt heartbroken. However I was able to get in touch with the seller. He set up a PayPal transaction and immediately shipped it to me in Hawaii via FedEx. Beautiful unique heirlooms from a trustworthy seller.
