I was very fortunate to spend several weeks at Agricola Samadhi from spring into summer, and really loved every minute of my stay. When one takes a spiritual retreat, whether it be a yoga retreat or yoga teacher training, it is important that the location gives enough support without being distracting, and is cozy enough to feel settled right away. This place really fits that description. It is quiet, comfortable, beautiful, and has a charm/character which is not over the top, yet encourages one to appreciate the little things. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL, there were soo many wildflowers. One of the highlights is the kindness of the staff, from the moment i was picked up at the airport, to arrival, to the food… they will really be aware of and support any special needs. The food is amazing, well balanced, and interesting, really prepared with love by a very gifted and enthusiastic vegan chef and his team. Many things prepared came straight from the onsite garden. The bedrooms are simple yet comfortable, affording just enough space for what you need. The yoga shalas/rooms (there are 3) are absolutely beautiful, as well as naturally beautifully lit, which for me is important. There are places to study, I spent a lot of time around the gorgeous pool. Many of my colleagues received massages and booked for a second and third time, so I imagine them to be wonderful. While I didn’t book myself, the spa is another highlight… you can relax and decompress in the beautiful sauna after a day of practice and study. Sizewise everything is close enough together that you can make a lot out of a 30 minute break… at another retreat center i spent a lot of time walking to and from and this was never an issue. I will remember fondly my time here, recommend to all, and can’t wait to come back! Thank you to all the team, and special thanks to the owner Francesca, who transformed this place into an oasis with apparent love from her heart. 🤩🌿❣️🇮🇹
