Ai Fiori

A great lunch menu is available from Tuesday to Saturday, from 12:00 to 15:00. We tried the scallops and the tomato gnocchi with mussels — a delicious surprise! The fish croquette with yogurt and lime sauce was also amazing. For dessert, we had almond cookies. Still water is included. Wonderful flavors and excellent service!

Fantastic dinner! Maria and Alberto, the hosts, were so gracious and welcoming. The food was outstanding. Lovely restaurant with good variety. The seafood was top notch! Must go!

In terms of technique and presentation of the food Ai Fiori surely belongs to the best restaurants in Trieste (though my fish was a little overcooked). Regarding quality of the ingredients they are good but not the best. However, I love their technique and will surely come again.

Food is not bad but abit pricey for the small portions! The array of bread was nice and we were recommended a nice local wine from trieste. I got the spaghetti carbonara with duck and truffle whjch was very good, albeit the small portions. There are some nice add ons on the house like the octopuses appetizer and dessert. But VERY SMALL. Wouldn’t come back because I feel the price doesnt justify the food. The service, though, was excellent.

What an experience! Each dish was carefully prepared and beautifully served in a friendly and welcoming environment. Definitely a place to go back to!

Very good food, with modern ideas, sometimes looking scarce on the plate but you will not leave hungry, but deliciously satisfied.

Much more than a cup of coffee in Trieste - Trieste Coffee Festival Menu. I am not really a coffee fan but tasting it with food in special Ai Fiori menu was extraordinary experience. We should try to experiment more often! #triestecoffeefestival

We each had an antipasto and a secondo. All were bland and the portions rather small. That was a major disappointment. But apart from that, everything was fine. Fresh food, very attractive presentation, excellent service, nice ambiance. The pineapple dessert, amuse bouche, and petit fours were excellent. The house wines were inexpensive and were fine. Total bill was 100 Euros for two.

Sort of stumbled upon this place looking for dinner. What a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious, with an interesting twist. Italian but not the average fare. Service was impeccable the young lady served fish with a seldom seen perfection. The house wine can be warmly recommended. To warm the heart a wee dram of Oban 14 Y as nightcap. And all that for a fair price. Can one retire to Trieste?
