What can I say that hasn't been said before? Marvelous. The food is heavenly. I hadn't been in a very long time. My parents had gone to this beech for 20 years and would dine at this marvelous restaurant by the sea with their wide group of friends most days. I love that it hasn't changed, this is the place where I learned to walk again so many years ago after a terrible accident, this place is home. The restaurant on a Tuesday evening was full (Monday is the day off). We had a Byblos mixed hors d'oeuvre, dinner was delicious liked the coquille saint Jacques, some honestly less like the smoked salmon which seemed a little out of place, the tuna was lovely. Next time I will try the impepata mussels, my favourite. For seconds I had my benchmark dish, the sea bream cooked in a salt crust. It's a very simple dish but extremely difficult to have a good outcome. It was PERFECTION. I don't say this lightly, I try this everywhere, fish shouldn't be smothered in sauces or seasoning. If the quality is good, it needs very little. This was fabulous. The meat was very tender, the fish was fresh, there was zero salty aftertaste (those is not as rare as it seems). Perfection. A 10. Very light desert although they have a very tempting dessert cart. A perfect coffee. The service was just lovely. They have several waiters who are very careful to reply immediately to requests and service is extremely fast. A wonderful evening and the owner, Marco, mingles and knows his clientele. Prices are surprising for three extremely high quality. Wonderful.
