Ristorante Carosello

There is Michelin dining, and then there is dining at Carosello. I have not even gotten up from my table before immediately needing to write this review - only as if to just keep me at the table longer. What I experienced tonight was something close to magic - from the moment my car entered the gates of the Masseria I was greeted by Fortunato, a lovely new friend who called me by name and recalled my food allergies just from my mention of them to the reception and showed me to Carosello. I was welcomed into the dining room for an exceptional experience, from Bianca, Danilo, Roberto, and the rest of the team. I told Roberto after my first course; a traditional Puglias dish featuring fresh and local burrata and tomatoes, that I could have traveled the whole way to Puglia, eaten only that dish and left, and been happy. And yet my meal and the exceptional service only got better. From the staff remembering details I had mentioned earlier in the meal, to the seamless and seemingly effortless teamwork of this staff that worked together to cultivate not only an amazing meal, but an experience that had me leaving with the farewell of “see you next time”, a greeting I’m so specific to only use when I mean it. It was an honor and a joy to experience Carosello, and I look forward to my return - and I look forward to hearing the stories of others who are so lucky to experience this magic (oh, and get the Tiramisu). I had no room for dessert, got it anyways, and will forever be glad that I did. Gratzie Carosello!

Amazing setting and beautiful dinner. We had a lovely waitress called Rosa who was very attentive. We also enjoyed cocktails on their rooftop bar prior to dinner which we would highly recommend

Once a week the restaurant serves dinner by the pool while listening to jazz and/or local live artists. The atmosphere is sophisticated and romantic by the hotel pool and not to be missed.

Amazing lunch today at Masseria Torre Maizza. Wonderful service and a perfect spot for lunch.

Despite booking the restaurant well in advance for our last night in Puglia, we arrived to find out they closed the restaurant for a private event and did not cancel our reservation. We were left on a Saturday night with no chance of getting into another restaurant. We were looking forward to a special last night dinner and instead were dressed up with nowhere to go. Terrible customer experience to take reservations and nor communicate cancellations!

Il Ristorante Carosello, immerso nella splendida Masseria Torre Maizza, è il luogo ideale per una cena romantica o un’occasione speciale. Piatti curati, ingredienti freschissimi e sapori autentici della tradizione pugliese, rivisitati con gusto. Il personale è di altissimo livello: professionale, attento e cordiale. Ogni dettaglio è pensato per offrire un’esperienza indimenticabile. Tornerò sicuramente. Consigliatissimo!

Abbiamo vissuto una serata indimenticabile ad agosto al ristorante Carosello, in occasione della meravigliosa festa di paese organizzata dalla Masseria Torre Maizza. Un evento curato con eleganza e autenticità, capace di far respirare l’anima vera della Puglia. Siamo stati accolti da un personale qualificato, gentilissimo e attento, che ci ha fatto sentire a casa fin da subito. In compagnia di amici, abbiamo gustato una cucina sublime, che rievocava con maestria i sapori autentici della tradizione pugliese, rivisitati in chiave raffinata e moderna. Ogni piatto raccontava una storia, un profumo, un ricordo. La serata è stata impreziosita da un’atmosfera unica: musica, luci soffuse, ulivi secolari e la gioia condivisa di un evento che celebra il territorio e la convivialità. Complimenti sinceri a tutto lo staff per la passione, la cura e l’ospitalità. Un’esperienza da ricordare e assolutamente da ripetere.
