Charming location, dinner on the beach by candlelight. Attentive and fast staff. The main thing is excellent cuisine, seafood, octopus, fish. All excellently seasoned.

The restaurant is in amazing area with gorgeous view. We booked a table few hours before our arrival. As we arrived the table was at back corner of the restaurant. Clearly not to be served but to make money, a forgotten corner, later proven right. As a person with over 20 years in restaurant business, I realise when the restaurant is busy and you have to give waiters a chance but when for 30 min you just get water and then you almost have to beg for appetitive bubbles and then after 40 min the starter. By this time we were so thirsty that i almost cancelled everything. We had to wave a lot to get service and attention. Then comes the pasta and wine, suddenly the main course ,right after that before you even have a five minute brake between the courses. What was sad is that all the sudden when half of the restaurants customers have left, after the mood is ruined, you get all the attention. BTW the mussels weren't even cleaned. It was all together a disgraceful service. Food was good but not amazing. This is our fifth time in Portonovo and this was a horrible experience. 🙁 i wish i had spent my 185€ somewhere else.

This is a wonderful beachfront restaurant. Exceptional dishes (melon sorbet with red chili is to die for) and high attention to detail. The premises have a vintage feel while the view over the ocean completes your happiness as a guest. Highly recommend especially in low season when there is no crowd yet.

Been there for Dinner with 10+ people. Food looked okay but me and another person from our group puked a few hours later. Some of the shellfish served must have been bad. Should never happen. Do not recommend.

This time late September, excellent fresh seafood.. have been here many times and each time a wonderful experience

Food was ok, but it all came at different times. It was six of us and we took turns watching each others having their own meals.. worst part of the whole experience was the staff, part of the staff to be honest, for some reason they felt comfortable in taking the piss out of our table and making some remarks out loud, not even worried if we could hear them or not.. which we could..chubby guy, long pants, receding hairline and greased hair thought he was the funniest. Just rude.

Lovely restaurant located half an hour away from Ancona. The venue is quite hidden but not impossible to find if you're following directions. Friendly and efficient staff will make your stay even more enjoyable. The venue is also placed pretty much on the beach, making it an exotic location for a late night meal. Food is delicious and of great quality. I cannot comment on the price as I've been there for an event. I would totally recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Excellent, fresh local fish dishes, particularly il brodetto.
