We had a pleasant early dinner here during the busy design week. The restaurant is definitely old school and feels a bit stale, like it’s ready to be updated. Our meal was good but not memorable. The osso bucco was tender and well prepared. My husband enjoyed the tortellini en brodo. My lasagna was very good. We were too full to have dessert. Reasonable prices. Service a bit less than friendly but competent. If you’re in the area you could have a good meal at a decent price but we probably won’t be back.

Despite getting a table near the door, which kept letting a cold draft in, I’d recommend this place! It was full of Italians & felt authentic. It was reasonably priced & the food was delicious. The quality of the pasta exceeded my expectations—value was amazing for Milan! They also brought some cookies and chocolate at the end of the meal which I thought was a nice touch.

Google
The tortellini brodo brought back wonderful taste memories of my trip to Bologna !! When I know we are going to an old school Bologna restaurant, I immediately knew i’m going to order the tortellini with soup. Also found out risotto Milanese is not my thing but the ossobuco was soft and flavourful especially the bone marrow.

My favorite meal while in Milan! Ended up coming twice and was even better the second time. Great meal for the price! Already saved for my next trip.

Food was excellent. La zuppa era calda. Multilingual wait staff. Generous with a good quality black truffle. Good price for high end experience.

Popped in quickly for a meal with my family. Great service, speedy, tasty albiet a little on the pricy side but the quality was reflective of the price for their second courses. I highly recommend the Tar Tar with Burrata, amazing combination for lunch!

Google
Freshly made pasta (by hand). Ask the waiter about options, he put together a dish of three pastas so we could try a selection of them. I had the tagliolini with black truffle it was amazing and really good value for money. That amount of truffle would’ve cost your twice the price in London

Yelp
Perfect Italian place! Plenty of local people and fantastic local meals makes this restaurant a must to be. We had burrata caprese (explosion of freshness), tatar di menzo and tagliatelle scampi. Wonderful tiramisu as dolce. Top service! The restaurant itself has wee bit an old fashion style. However it was part of this evening. It was local and excellent. Clear recommendation!

Yelp
My partner and I had a lovely dinner here during the summer. We were one of the few tables there when we arrived, but it slowly got more busy as the night went on. It is obviously a favorite with the locals, since there were families coming by for dinner later or a couple men would stop for a drink. The waiters were always friendly and greeting people coming through. We chose whatever looked interesting on the menu. There were grilled mushrooms, sweet pumpkin ravioli, fried fritters, and really good wine. I wanted to try their risotto from the rave reviews, but they did not have that dish on the day we were there. Nevertheless, it was a great meal in a cozy local restaurant. It is definitely not 'cheap' but it is worth the price of the dishes and experience!

Yelp
Food is really good. Service is also good. Only thing is the 3 euros per person for something. We found it so weird.

Yelp
Came in an hour before close. I'll admit the pasta was pretty good. It definitely tasted like it was made same day, but not sure I'd go far as to say it was made in the last few hours. Maybe I'm being picky, but this place is almost 5 stars on Yelp. It's not quite there. The pumpkin ravioli was quite delicious. Something sweet and savory. Nice texture of the noodles except the corners where they're folded up on one another. Every had pasta that wasn't quite cooked all the way through. Kind of al-dente but there were some tougher "corners". I know it was home made, cause unfortunately I got a crunchy bit of egg shell in my ravioli. A plate of 9 for €10. Seemed fair for Italy dinner prices. Cover/bread included for €3 euro for service essentially. €3 for a Diet Coke because I still can't get over the concept of paying about the same for a 0.33l bottle of water. The risotto looked like a nice sized portion on the table next to me and was about 10-12€ if memory serves me Second course was the veal and potatoes. The veal was way fatty. Maybe that's the way it is... but the potatoes weren't fresh baked. Had that spongy, was under a heat lamp or in a warming drawer taste. Disappointed for €15. I didn't get sweets and the little cookies that the other tables received after their dinner. This was prior to them ordering coffee, so I didn't get the same as the "locals". Boo!

Yelp
Terrible service with good food. I ordered coffee as soon as I sat down but then they had it delivered when o was about to pay for my bill and done with my dollying. What a way to end a good meal.

Yelp
No. I feel like I have to defend myself, as I'm visiting from the U.S, but this was seriously mediocre food. We started with the Frito Misto. It was fried apple, potato, veal, lamb & zuchini. The meat was dry, the sugar on 1/2 of it was just strange, and the zuchinni was floppy & flavorless. The bread that they delivered was dry, which could have been softened if dipped in olive oil, but none given. Next up , spinach. We turned down cheese that was offered in the prep of this dish. Our mistake. Again, only flavor was bitter. I had fettuccini bolognese. Reminded me of what we call in America, " hamburger helper". Lacked spice, no hint of garlic. Husband had carbonara. Basically super salty cheese, with more salty bacon like pancetta. Just too much salt. I have had these meals in Florence, Rome , And other spots in Italy, so I feel that this place does not come close to representing the cuisine standard. Wine list had no by the glass option. Servers were efficient, but we got the "we are not fond of tourists" vibe.

Yelp
My highest compliments goes to the service. Our waiter spoke excellent English and went out of his way to translate the parts of the menu we didn't understand. When we were curious about the biscotti, he quickly offered us an entire plate of biscotti along with the best dark chocolate I've had in Italy yet (and didn't charge us anything for it!). It's also cool that around the restaurant they have their dessert and appetizer selection out on display, as well as all the pastas they make. The meal started out great with a free amuse bouche of delicious bruschetta. Our appetizer was a generous heaping of prosciutto. For entrees, we had the meatballs and sole from their daily selection and their "mixed bolognese." Don't be confused (as we were) though, because the "mixed bolognese" is not actually different types of bolognese but a selection of three of their pastas. All parts of the meal were good. Favorite part, however, was the dessert (we just chose the chocolate cake which is perfect for those with a sweet tooth, and of course, there was the free biscotti!).

Yelp
This is the first restaurant that my I went to while we were in Milan, and what a great way to start! We were wandering around the city on the first night of our trip, and were walking by when we decided to have dinner here. The place was so cozy and inviting, and the tables were full of locals. We didn't know what to expect, but let me just say, it was a fantastic surprise. Our waiter was great; he didn't speak English and we don't speak Italian, and so communication consisted of very limited Italian/English, a series of hand gestures and nods, and lots of laughing. We ended up ordering a plate of the prosciutto and mozzarella to start, and the bolognese 3-pasta special and spaghetti carbonara as our mains. There was also an antipasto buffet that you could select from, self-serve. Everything we had was fantastic! The prosciutto melted in your mouth, the mozzarella was so fresh, and the pasta was all made by hand. The bolognese pasta came with spaghetti, tortellini, and ravioli so we could try a variety. The noodles were the perfect texture, chewy and delicious, and the sauces were incredible. We also had the house wine, a Chianti, and it was amazing. Honestly, we couldn't believe how inexpensive it was for how good it was. Actually, I can say that about all of the food here. Such great quality and taste! We ended the meal with an espresso, which was also perfection. Pasta and coffee have never been the same for me since. I have such fond memories of this place - the food, the wine, the service were all spectacular. I can't wait to be back in Milan and eat here again!

Yelp
My Airbnb host recommended this restaurant. I came for lunch, and it quickly became busy by 1:30. I couldn't decide what to order, I was stuck between three options, the salmon gnocchi, tortellini ragu, and the pumpkin ravioli. My waiter spoke with the chef and created a sampler platter for me so I could try all 3! They were so kind and quick to bring me what I needed. They were very generous on their wine pour too. The pasta dishes (all 3) were the most delicious thing I've had in any of those three dishes. The gnocchi was so soft and melted in your mouth. The pumpkin ravioli tasted like they were meant to be together. Finally, the tortellini ragu. It honestly tasted like other good tortellini ragu I've had, except with some other lasting taste that made you never want to stop eating it. That's the best way I can describe it. You could tell that the pasta had been made by hand, each one was so delicious. Apparently the pasta-maker has been there for 40 years making their pasta in house. I would recommend coming here hungry. I didn't get a chance to try anything else except a coffee, but the antipasta looked delicious as well. The chefs and the waiters were very kind and kept checking to make sure everything was good. I thought it was so kind of them to make this sampler plate for me and keep checking in. If I had more time here, I would make sure to come by again! For the service and the food.

Yelp
Da Giordano il Bolognese came recommended to me from my hotel, and I was glad they led me here! I stopped in on my last night in Milan for dinner around 8:00pm and found a cozy, welcoming restaurant with terrific food and prices. The doting wait staff dropped a plate of these impressively delicious savory fritters on my table and let me browse the menu. I chose two more Milanese-than-Bolognese options which were risotto and a breaded veal cutlet (Milanesa), but I was glad I did. Both dishes were excellent, and I was really impressed with the quality and presentation of the food here. When it was time to pay, I was given a small dish of excellent biscotti to finish off the night which was a nice way to end an excellent meal. Enjoyed with a glass of Trebbiano and while taking in the lovely atmosphere, this was a great choice for dinner. The prices here are also very fair as my entire meal cost about €30.

Yelp
Amazing meal. My diabetes and I had the burrata with a porcini mushroom crema that was amazing. Our pasta was delicious and flavorful and dessert was delicious!

Yelp
A neighborhood, home style trattoria with amazing homemade pasta dishes such as tortelli di zucca, that literally melt in your mouth. The service is friendly and efficient and the prices are reasonable. 5 stars for this gem.

Yelp
We were looking for an interesting place to eat on Easter night after a day of touring. This place did not disappoint. The servers were so welcoming. One in particular was so charismatic it was hard to say no to anything he offered. As we sat down, we had fresh bruschetta. It was a great balance of the tomato, saltiness and the slightly stale bread. It was perfect. I ordered the minestrone which was flavorful and packed with fresh carrots, celery, potatoes and escarole. My husband had a speidone beef dish which was impressive in its presentation (the beef hung vertically on a pincho) and I had grilled octopus. Our daughter had thinly sliced roast beef. All were good. Our kids had decadent desserts and the restaurant offered us a shot of limoncello at the end. We had a very enjoyable evening. Would recommend.

Yelp
Not acceptable. I went here because it was close to where I was staying. Food was ok, they got my entree wrong, osso bucco and risotto is not pork and mashed potatoes. It was reasonably inexpensive... I guess you get what you pay for. I wouldn't go again or recommend it, go somewhere else.
