This is a hard one because the place is very charming, but we were just doing one night and arrived in the late hours. My room was stifling hot and I had one tiny window that I had to leave open overnight. The room was clean and charming. Sitting bathtub only. In the morning I was pleasantly surprised with the dining space and we were served a wonderful breakfast. It is a very quiet space and location steps from the Elbe River bike path.

Love this Italian restaurant as returning for 3rd time when visiting Dresden. Spaghetti Bolognese is good, excellent wine options and service is great. Thank you again!

Really good food. It's definitely something for a special occasion and not your everyday-around-the-corner-pizza-place. The food was high quality, as was the service. They have some standard food items but also a wide variety of specialties and creative recipes. Everything was really well prepared, tasty and pretty. I would definitely recommend that place for a nice dinner, date or celebration.

This is a lovely, small hotel in a charming neighbourhood of Dresden. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. Mine had nice views out to the Elbe, others have terraces. Breakfasts are excellent, and the restaurant downstairs serves a delicious range of Italian dishes, including vegetarian options. The pizzas are fantastic. Other reviewers have commented that it's a little far from the centre, but trams from the Blaues Wunder bridge nearby are cheap and frequent. Highly recommended.

We loved this hotel, the rooms were great and the restaurant even better. Location was perfect for us. Parking is a bit off site at about 6 blocks, but not too bad considering the location. Breakfast was only OK, but lunch and dinner were fabulous. ||||The only issue we had was communication. They really only speak Italian and every time we had a question about anything we were always told to call back or come back later. It was very frustrating at times as we were never sure if our questions got to anyone who could answer them. We finally enlisted the help of an Italian friend who had to call from the states to get answers.||||In spite of the communication issues, we highly recommend this hotel/restaurant, just remember your Italian dictionary!

This is a charming "Pension" where we stayed for several days while getting to know Dresden. Our colorful room was painted by a famous expressionist artist who lived here for 4 years. We enjoyed views of the Elbe river, steam boats passing by and lovely sunsets. The restaurant downstairs overlooking the river and beautiful gardens, served delicious breakfasts, lunch and dinners.||Rooms are limited, but worth waiting for.

Reviews of this hotel varied a lot, so La Campagnola was chosen with many prejudices. So when we entered the historical building and our room, all expectations were exceeded. The room was beautiful and steeped in history with slantwise floor and dark wooden furniture.||If you have only one word to describe Campagnola's breakfast, it could be "comely" - not a buffet but a plate served for you.||Campagnola is quite far from the historical downtown of Dresden, but there is a bus stop on the opposite side of Elbe. It is clever to leave your car in the non-expensive public car park near the hotel.
