The smell of garlic wafting from the kitchen when we arrived was a good sign. The Presidentes are nice and frosty. The bruschetta was “a la casa” and delicious….it was a good sign that we were in for a great meal. Among our group of 9, we ordered Dorado fish al ajillo (delicious), ricotta and spinach ravioli (very good) , seafood risotto (good but not amazing), pizza de prosciutto y hongos (very good - I had total food envy….and wished I had seen the pizza oven before I ordered!), spaghetti carbonara (very good), macaronis con hongos (good, fresh mushrooms instead of canned would have made it even better but understand they may be hard to come by on the island), and pasta bolognese (excellent). Total bill for 9 ppl was $189, which included a few Presidentes. Great service - and you’d be hard pressed to find a better meal in Juan Dolio for the money. Definitely worth a visit or two!
