Family owned restaurant with a beautiful garden terrace. Flavors were unlike anything I’ve tried before. They make their own olive oil, pair wine perfectly to the meal and have the best pasta we have tried in Italy. I will never forget this place or the smell / taste of their truffle oil. I have to say it’s very pleasant and surprisingly not overcrowded place. Service is the best! It actually looks and feels like family run place. Food is excellent, seems like local produce is really put to good use here and I like unassuming serving style. Simple and pleasant.

I have tried the tagliolini with black truffle and the slow cooked goat. Try the homemade olive oil and the variety of wines. Very friendly service and the owner really proffesional and on spot. The only Highly recommended in the RDG area, congrats 👏🏼

We loved this place! We had dinner here during our stay at Lago di Garda. The owner of the restaurant was extremely knowledgeable about all of our meal selections and wine pairings and gave us excellent recommendations. His attention to detail is unsurpassed. The wait staff was also wonderful. They too were very knowledgeable about the dishes they served us, things like wine and local olive oil and fresh produce from nearby valleys. The Italian farm-to-market movement is alive and well in Riva del Garda. Bravo!

We go every year and twice a year since 15 years to Restel de Fer ! The place is just wonderfull and the Meneghelli family became our italian family. We discovered the place looking for a calm and relaxing hotel closed to the lake when we were going to work in the area. Something with a higher standard level, service and food, closed to the excellence. This place is just amazing, you feel like home in Italy and the food is just excellent. We eat every evening ate the restaurant, we discover always new food, new wines. Everything is home made with local product. They produce their own oil, make incredible "pasta de tartufo", original made carpaccio, osso buco, fish from the lake. All the family is always at disposal. Also nit to miss the wine selection from Marco and his description of the food and wine he will offer you to try... With the Covid we missed to see them during one year and came back few weeks ago and the magie started again. This place is not to miss for hospitality, food and for relaxing.

This place is just amazing! Just sitting there is an experience itself. The food was high quality and very good. PS It was empty just at this moment, since we were the first guests. ;)

Good food, although my partner wasn't impressed with the aubergine parmigiana. Service excellent, with good descriptions of everything given. My pork was delicious. Wine recommended was lovely.

Great friendly staff and very nicely prepared courses. Wine pairing experience also very good. Recommend for those looking for a great diner. Reservations recommended.
