The best pasta we had in Rome. Handmade and so good.
One thing I would do: they served us with cracked ceramics (you can see the plate had cracks in the pictures and near it were oil stains, meaning the plates glaze wore off and it was no longer hygienic.. And could no longer linger be truly clean. And the cup I had was cracked as well). I would suggest them to dispose of such ceramics.

The ambiance was very nice and you can smell the delicious food being prepared. We started out with the seafood cappaccio, which was light delicate and full of flavor. We then tried two different lobster dishes that the waiter recommended. Both were prepared well and flavorful. The tiramisu was delicious. This place was a bit on the pricey side but still a good experience.

So good!! The Carbonara (pasta, cheese and bacon) and the cacio e pepe (pepper cheese pasta) was absolutely delicious!! Our waiter recommended a fabulous glass of wine. Don’t miss the nice atmosphere and charming staff. ♥️

We have been here because my boyfriend (Roman) knew this place before.. sadly it has changed..
But did they do the carbonara (classical Roman dish that is supposed to be prepared with eggs and never with cream) with cream?
My boyfriend is lactose intolerant and ate only that dish. Today he is a mess like he drank a full glass of milk..
We can only suspect because they won’t admit..
We have been returned to that place because he remembered it to be a good place.
That sadly has been stories of the past..
Service tries to get your plate while still eating.. if you’re slow.. and well I guess that’s just another restaurant went down..
Became another tourist trap..

Pure service
They had just closed & I asked the waiter if he could take the 3 of us for lunch. He smiled (through his mask) and said yes & he & another waiter gave us exceptional service. They never rushed us as we ate delicious calamari, tartare, carpaccio, sardines, pasta & risotto. This meal was quite a highlight for us. This is the the place to be to people watch.
