"Sample Frescobaldi wines The aristocratic Frescobaldi family is one of Florence’s foremost wine-producing dynasties and at their relaxed, modern wine bar just off Piazza della Signoria, you can sample all the house wines and choose from a menu of cheeses, cold cuts and other light snacks to soak up the wine. In summer, tables are laid out in a picturesque little alleyway. Photo Gianluca Moggi"
Great spot right at the Piazza Della Signoria. Food was excellent. Pasta was so fresh. The proteins, chicken and beef, were amazing. Tomatoes were excellent as well. The photos do not do justice of the amazing dessert. This place should be on everyone's rotation when they visit Florence.

Recommended by the concierge of our hotel. A delightful lunch at a restaurant that should be busier than it was. Excellent pasta and secondi with friendly, efficient service.
Giorgio was great and very friendly we had a lovely chat. The food and wine were done very well, we recommend the calamari!

Ristorante Frescobaldi is located on the beautiful Piazza della Signoria. Right across of the restaurant is the Palazzo Vecchio and the Fountain of Neptune. Just a bit further from the restaurant is the Loggia dei Lanzi with its many Renaissance sculptures. No wonder the square is always swarming with tourists. To say it is a busy location is an understatement. The terrace of ristorante Friscobaldi is a delightful heaven of culinary peace though. The food Frescobaldi serves is inspired by the Tuscan cuisine but with a twist. We had spaghetti tirrena Frescobaldi: spaghetti with a tartare of red shrimps, a cream of broccoli and pistachios. A lovely, beautiful dish; the cream of broccoli slightly spicy which was a delightful combination with the delicate raw shrimps. The tartare of Tuscan Maremma beef and black truffle was completely different in character but just aa good. Our primis included gnocchi with a lamb ragout and crispy artichokes; turbot with artichokes and local ham. We concluded the meal with Zabaglione with caramelised orange and a semifreddo of pistachio. All accompanied with an Attems Sauvignon from the Friuli region. Surprisingly, the restaurant is very affordable, we paid around € 150 for the meal. Service is hospitable and efficient.

We have dinned there 6 times during our two week stay in Florence! The amazing team Luciano and Mirko were always welcoming. The food is ridiculous in terms of the taste and quality. This was even back in 2020, I’m sure the restaurant is now even better. Looking forward to seeing the team again!

The food was just ok, everything was under seasoned. We were seated in a back room alone, even though there were empty tables in the main dining room. We did overhear the host tell the waiter that we were American. So my take away is be forewarned, if you're American, you might get substandard service in a backroom.

The BEST pasta we've ever had. And we were in Italy for 14 days.
The place is FULL of flavors, delicious. Excellent beers, wines, and luxurious service.
The place is magical, with a special atmosphere, a unique location with the Palazzo Dela Señoria and the Palazzo Vecchio.
