Very tasty pasta and wine. They even have a special menu to the day with local dishes. Super friendly and helpful and honest staff. We forgot our bag at the restaurant, when came back the bag was there . We are so grateful ♥️

The tortellini ragù was delicious, meaty filling and great sauce. The salted cod with olives was a revelation – flaky and flavorful. We finished with a classic tiramisu, which was light and utterly delicious, and rounded off the meal perfectly with sweet wine and biscotti.

Good choice for real Italian food in Pisa, the wine options by the glass are really good. The waiter was really helpful and even gave us a taste of Arancino or orange liquor for free

We went for lunch in 4 around 12.45 just at the opening time, and the place was full in a few minutes for the lunch menu offer. We ordered from the menu a la carte and the food was very good: we had the prosciutto crudo with stracchino and pasta fritta, two trippa alla pisana, and a grilled steak with roasted potatoes with two glasses of Chianti. Prices were good considering the food quality, but service was lacking a bit of attention.

The wait staff was really friendly, cordial, and very helpful and attentive. They made me feel at ease and welcome while they skillfully served the dishes. I started with a salad and then I had the stuffed pasta with meat and meat Ragu sauce. The red wine by the glass I had was a local Chianti. For dessert, I had a standing milk dessert with chocolate sauce. And the meal ended with an awesome tasting espresso. The bill was a good price at 32 euros. I recommend this restaurant. I recommend this restaurant! You can reserve a table via Google.

We spent a long time searching for a restaurant that was both open and not empty – I was quite surprised to encounter such problems in a city like this, but I guess it's off-season. Eventually, we found one with a nice atmosphere and friendly service. The truffle pasta was quite good – with real truffles in generous amounts, not just the aroma. The pasta was well-cooked, with the right amount of sauce, and had a good texture. In short, it was a solid, satisfying meal.

Google
Awesome restaurant. Totally recommended. Authentic local cuisine, lovely Italian ambient and prices incredible low compared to the usual tuscany-tourist standards. Home-made pasta: taste any as all are excellent. If take the daily menu you get main and second in one big dish, yet more than enough and it is only 12€ (dessert included). Must go, yet make sure to book in advance Illustration: daily one dish menu for 12€ Labels: 2Eat, $, #Italian

Authentic restaurant with typical dishes from Pisa and Tuscan cuisine. One of the few family run restaurants around. Quality and tradition. A must if you are in Pisa. Nice outdoor patio in spring and summer

Yelp
What a gem. This is an especially great traditional Italian restaurant pleasantly decorated and comfortable seating arrangements. Bring a date, bring a customer, or just come by yourself. They won't disappoint. I went on a Friday and they had a great off-menu specials. They have seafood, a variety of meats, and fresh pasta. Staff was very pleasant. Just don't sit at the table in the entrance. Sort of weird. Their outside seating would be fine in the warmer weather but for a mid November night, I sat inside. Enjoy!

Yelp
My husband and I had a nice dinner here. Though I felt like the food was nothing special hence the three stars. I had the gluten free Alfredo, it was very peppery.

Yelp
Outstanding meal and reasonably priced. I had the cacio e pepe and verdure grigliate and both were excellent. Focaccia fresh from the oven came out halfway through the meal - crispy on the outside, chewy within, piping hot and delicious. Recommended.

Yelp
A classic Tuscan almost-trattoria with a little more elegance and terrific food. There's an emphasis on seafood but the tagliata with rugula and shaved parmigiana for two was one of the best we had in Italy. It arrived cut off the bone but the bone was still on the serving platter. The meat was perfectly cooked as ordered, rare. Also porcini alla griglia (in season) were crisp from the fire outside but moist and succulent within. The service is friendly and unpretentious, they have a fairly priced but small wine list, and everyone in the place (90% local) seems to be enjoying themselves. You will too.
