Me and my family first visited Giardiniello around 25 years ago and it is a place we have remembered ever since. When me and my now husband decided to get married in Minori, we knew that we had to have our reception at Giardiniello. :) We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding reception than Giardiniello. The food was absolutely spectacular and the service was incredible. We felt completely looked after throughout the entire evening. A special thank you to Barbara, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and that we had the most memorable experience. Giardiniello made our wedding day truly magical, and we are so grateful for the warmth and care they showed us. It was an unforgettable celebration, and we highly recommend them! It will always have a special place in my heart, and I can't to return in the future. Love Maddie & Jonathan.

Was recommended this spot by our hotel and our shuttle driver. We came after getting massages up the street (which was fabulous) and I’m so glad we listened. I had the lamb, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and my husband the gnocchi, which he loved the sauce was his favorite. It was such a great experience that we ended up coming back for dinner one night when our other plans fell through.

Google
Stumbled across this place around noon looking for pizza. The pizza was outstanding. The crust was as good as I have ever had. Highly recommended!

Google
The food was very delicious and very well prepared. I went there for my birthday, it was very nice :)

Google
Cozy atmosphere, amazing food. They can make the pizzas gluten free. Pizzas senta glutine.

Google
Silver wedding celebration with husband. Really pleased we walked into this restaurant as we had no reservation. The restaurant is delightful and the food excellent. Scallops followed by tuna and it goes without saying tiramisu and a bottle of wine recommended by our waiter. The whole experience was worth every penny or euro.

Google
Great tuna steak and pizza, fantastic desserts, really nice coffe and professional service. And all that in fantastic atmosphere and surrounding. I recommend :)

Google
Fabulous restaurant with good service and delicious fresh food. We enjoyed antipasti and primi/secondi dishes on a Saturday evening. Everything was fresh and cooked extremely well. The atmosphere was lovely as well. You'll find something for everyone here including kids with the full pizza oven in the kitchen! Make a reservation and stop in for a fabulous dinner in Minori!

Yelp
Giardiniello is an absolutely beautiful restaurant with excellent food. A group of us came here for dinner after being recommended by our fabulous tour guide. It is a gorgeous space that's comfortable and classy. My hubby and I ordered: -Seabass in lemon sauce 5+/5!!! The sauce was light and perfect. Fish was nicely prepared and not dry. -stuffed anchovies 5+/5!!! Could eat this everyday. It's so good! -side salad 5/5 Everyone else in the group loved their entrees too. The food was nicely prepared, full of great flavors and reasonably price for a seaside town. The service was professional and friendly. Love that you don't ever feel rushed in Italian restaurants, that's it's okay to linger and chat and enjoy the company of your dinner companions. It was a wonderful dining experience and I'm hoping to return for another meal before we leave Minori.

Yelp
Came for lunch while in Minori, and we shared pizzas. They were good, and we had more than enough for the five of us. Ended up taking some away back to our apartment. I personally had the Diavalo. Not too spicy. This seems like a place that would be great for dinner, although we did not have the chance to return. Pretty good service, and complimentary lemoncello for everyone.

Yelp
Excellent food, service and atmosphere! If you're looking for an amazing meal along the Amalfi Coast, this is a love place to fill that special place in your evening.

Yelp
Had high hopes and was disappointed. Atmosphere was beautiful. We were here in our first night in Minori. Started off by ordering a bottle of rose and the man poured it and didn't let us sample it and it was a very sweet and cheap rose so we asked to switch to another and they were surprised we wanted a dry rose not sweet. Then ordered a pizza to share and it was very good but came out not hot but it was still good. The crust was very flavorful. Had to flag a waiter to get a refill on a cocktail and some water. Pasta was just fine not that great. I eat my pasta al dente and one of our pastas was still hard not al dente at all but raw. The gnocchi was good the sauce had good flavor but wasn't a traditional gnocchi size it was served more like an appetizer. The seafood pasta was just ok. The homemade noodles were thick fettuccine style and the sauce was pretty good and the seafood was very fresh. Waiter was upset when we told her the lobster linguine was raw but no one ever came to check on us until our meal was over so we couldn't let them know it wasn't cooked properly. They did give us a discount for the pasta being uncooked. The steak we ordered was cooked medium and we ordered it medium rare. Overall I would not go back especially as an American they were not friendly which was upsetting because we went in with such high hopes!

Yelp
Lovey restaurant for supper - food was excellent - and the staff very accommodating. Food is creative authentic and well executed.

Yelp
These people have provided the home of my 1st and 2nd favourite steak I've had and favourite pasta as well the aesthetic is amazing as well it's quiet, but not whispering quiet and it's a very good experience I highly recommend this restaurant And thank you for my food!

Yelp
We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Giardiniello today and found the beautiful air conditioned dining room lifesaving. (Writing this during the heat emergency of July 2923.) We enjoyed various delicious gnocchi dishes and I'm doing what amounts to a personal Scialatielli tour of local restaurants on the Amalfi coast choosing their Scialatielli fatti in casa ai frutti del mare (homemade Scialatielli with mussels, clams, and cherry tomatoes.) I have to say that it was not as good as in other restaurants in the area. It was tasty but also too salty. Nevertheless this restaurant is a gem and a favorite among travelers. Reservations strongly recommended.

Yelp
Four of us ate there on 10/7/23 at 7pm. It was a full house with 2 on the wait staff. Service was S L O W and inaccurate. We were told about the meat they cooked for 16 hours to go with the Bolognese we heard this 2-3 times, they were really selling, so I ordered it. from her explanation I expected some meat (cooked 16 hours) "chunks" in my pasta. Instead I had meat particles. The others enjoyed their meal once we got it. The presentation is artful..... who eats the presentation?? Absolutely NOT worth the money.

Clive W.

Yelp
Very nice, vibrant with the friendliest of staff you can imagine. Catered very well to our large group with kids and never flustered. The food was excellent and this is a must stop in the area. Nice ride from Ravello and a place that won't disappoint you

Julia D.

Yelp
From the relaxed ambiance to the fast service everything about this restaurant is great. The food was absolutely impeccable, best food on the Amalfi coast for this price range. Have visited: Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano, Ischia, and more. This was some of the best food I've had in Italy.

Johanna T.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere. Higher end than others in Minori. The food was excellent and the wine was delicious. The staff wasn't the friendliest, but we cared about the food, which was delicious!

Colin M.

Yelp
One of our most favourite restaurants while visiting Italy. The service was excellent. Both times. Servers were friendly and funny throughout the evening. The Pizzas are incredible. The best. Perfectly cooked. The pizzas are a must try. The pastas are also very tasty. Very simple sauces that are delicious. While in Minori, this is the one restaurant you have to go to first. You will want to go again another evening.

Yelp
My family visited Giardiniello in the first week of the new year 2019. The interior decor is lovely and the staff was very friendly. The head waiter (or owner?) spoke English well. The food was good, although it didn't blow our socks off. We had ravioli, lobster linguini, steak, a few more seafood dishes I can't remember, french fries, tiramisu, cappuccinos, and Lemon Delight (which kind of seemed like a fancy lemon Twinkie). The cost was a bit steep but we had a nice time there. The advantage that Americans have in Italy when eating out for dinner is that we typically eat earlier than Italians, so the restaurant is usually empty when we arrive (6-6:30p). Italians seem to arrive after 7p for dinner. Always try to make dinner reservations at a restaurant in Italy to ensure they can accommodate your party.

Yelp
Fabulous! Toni really made our 2nd night in Minori amazing! It just doesn't get better than this. When you ask the owner what wine you should order, and he picks a 26euro bottle for you, you know your at this right place. We came for lunch, and went back for dinner! Everything we ordered was fabulous... calamari, zucchini flowers, pizza, pasta, caprese and the setting is right out of a Guide of Italy Dining magazine. See ya soon Toni!

Yelp
Four of us enjoyed a long lunch at this multi-generation family restaurant. We saw that reviews were good and you couldn't help but want to wander in to the beautiful garden setting. We dined outside. The service was excellent. The food quite delicious. I was so happy that I picked up the bill for our meal (if you knew me...that is not my usual). Really enjoyed the local wines. If you are not familiar with the Campania wines, step out of your comfort zones. A good Aglianico is transcending. Biancolella from Ischia--so nice on a warm day. The staff can point you in the right direction. And when you finish your meal, try the local specialty dessert made from fried eggplant and chocolate. It's rich and delicious. We met the family following our meal. So happy we went!!

Adam S.

Yelp
Small off the Main Street restaurant. Charming and probably the beat food that we had while in Italy. Sea bass with lemon sauce and the Minori Seafood pasta were phenomenal.

Ashr E.

Yelp
I went to this restaurant to have a good meal as per the reviews, I got my order and i was served by Antonio. Before I leave and still setting at my table three girls come inside the restaurant and set next to my table suddenly someone come from the corner " I believe the he is the "waiter's boss" to my table and grab the oil bottle and vinegar in very rode way and give it to the girls table without asking me if I have finish with my food! I stood immediately and went to the cashier to pay the bill and I shared what happened with him but he couldn't even understand the English!! I come to this place to have a good time and a class service not to see an Immature acts. I have I'm very disappointed and regret every single Euro I have paid in this expensive place place and recommended at all.

Elizabeth N.

Yelp
Wow. We sort of accidentally went to this place because our apartment manager suggested it to us. Absolutely spectacular food at a very reasonable price. The homemade pasta with clams and mussels was unbelievable. The fried zucchini blossoms were divine. My kids loved the pizza. They had a great house rosé that was just amazing. The bread basket was nice and the servers were very, very kind. It is the kind of place I would go back to again and again. It was the best meal I've had in Italy. It is one of the reasons we will come back to Minori again and again.

Yelp
Best buffalo caprese salad we had in all of Italy! The buffalo mozzarella was so dense and juicy. They also had balsamic vinegar that was to die for. Thicker than your normal balsamic vinegar. I think we could drink it straight out of the bottle. For mains, we had the ravioli which was made with a smoked cheese. It was a different flavor but totally worked. And the tuna salad. The salad was huge and came with tomatoes, carrots, corn, and tuna. I loved the sweet corn on the salad. It added a nice touch. Great service! Our service was attentive and friendly. We would definitely go back!

Alexander S.

Yelp
We were strolling around looking for a place to eat. Our friends spotted this place and we decided to go inside. The first question was if we have a reservation which wasn't the case but we still got a table... The location is beautiful! The interior is well designed and created a nice atmosphere. We were treated very well. The service was on point (we couldn't even ingrain the wine ourself :-) haha) and everybody was up for a small chat. As we wanted to share everything we order 2 starters (small tuna steaks and fried anchovies), a Pizza for 4 pers. + a bottle of white wine. Everything tasted really good! The tuna was my absolute favorite... I can't even describe the taste, you'll have to experience it yourself. This was one of my fav. places so far for having good dinner.

Lashawn F.

Yelp
Lovely restaurant in Minori. Beautifully decorated inside and out. Service and food were outstanding! It's a great choice for couples who want to do a fancier, romantic dinner, although there were also families there.

Leah P.

Yelp
Besides the grand entrance into the garden, amazing appetizers and outstanding dinner, Antonio was the highlight. He kept the limoncello following, the jokes coming, and the smiles all night. Highly recommend coming here for any occasion.

Nicole L.

Yelp
The decor is very nice with fresh flowers and very bright. Nice linens and table settings. Staff speaks English well and understands most phases. Service was good. Prices were slightly higher than most in the area. They charge a 3 Euro per person "comperto" ( cover charge to sit at the table and give you bread). Every restaurant is different on whether they charge or not and they are never posted. The antipasto was not very good. 2 large pieces of what tasted like cantaloupe and topped with prosciutto. The pasta dishes were both delicious. We had the gnocchi and the one with pepper. The heat from pepper quickly came up on you seconds after eating it. Excellent. The chicken with potatoes (actually French fries) was bland. The fries were fries. The chicken was cut super thin (but you received 2 pieces) and had oil and lemon on top. First meal in Italy That i would say to NEVER order. The steak entree was simply a thin slice of meat. Cooked well regardless of how you wanted it and bland. If you eat here ONLY order traditional Italian plates.

Cam O.

Yelp
Atmosphere here is fantastic. Staff very friendly and the owner also came to say hello. We had the Dorado fried fish with mixed vegetables (green beans, carrots, zucchini, potatoes au gratin), the gnocchi with smoked mozzarella, and the french fries to share. Would recommend all of these, and the portions are very generous!

Brent D.

Yelp
Well at this point I have eaten at many authentic Italian places in Italy. My experience is as follow Bread ok Olive oil and balsamic ok Ravioli 6 pieces ok Wife's sea bass ok Creme brûlée fabulous Ambience great. Service great.

Emil L.

Yelp
Very good service even in a very busy environment We arrived and haven't book table and no tables available. The waiter told os that we could wait 20-25 min and we would get the best table, so we did. Ordered 2 glasses of wine and waited in some very cosy white sofas outside 15 min later the table was ready - Fantastic tomato/mozzarella - Very very good pizza Margherita - Ok Ravaoli - Perfect Ribeye

Orinda K.

Yelp
A must! Beautiful restaurant and great service! I was advised to go here by my hotel staff - and it was a great suggestion. Service was amazing, and food was very tasty. I enjoyed my meal and felt that prices were very reasonable. The restaurant was packed, and reservations are definitely recommended. Decoration was very nice and beautiful flowers could be found throughout the outdoor terrace. Loved it!

Wendy B.

Yelp
Excellent lunch and the place was humming. I ordered the local scialatielli pasta with seafood, plus rucola salad. Simple tasty ingredients done well. Washed down with a glass of wine. Will definitely go back.

Anne S.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous dinner and service. Kids had filet delicious!!! Sea bass so tender fresh and flavorful. Service and waiters attentive and friendly. Limoncello with slight anise flavor. Dessert lemon sorbet and lemon cake. Chef definitely understands how to make everything lemon so wonderful.

Mateus B.

Yelp
Amazing! Amato is an amazing amazing waiter! Not only does he speak Italian but also English and Portuguese! Você foi o melhor!

Sofia O.

Yelp
Been here twice during our visit to Amalfi coast and could not be happier. The food is amazing, the staff is so welcoming and the atmosphere is so charming. First night we went we just had a pizza, some wine and dessert. Our second time there for lunch, I had the spaghetti alla bolognese, my boyfriend had the pasta with eggplant (forgot the name) and we shared the buffalo mozzarella- everything was delicious but the buffalo mozzarella- I am still dreaming of it. They have a great list of wines as well. We have been tasting the local whites from the costa d'Amalfi. So far, my favorite is the per Eva. For someone who is used to red wine- Malbec being my favorite) this wine is absolutely refreshing and unlike the whites from the states. All in all- a definite place to eat when visiting Amalfi coast.

Gerry B.

Yelp
We ate here one night because our hotel gave us a 10% off voucher.A very beautiful setting but we found it a little pricey.Food was alright but nothing special. We would rather spend a little less and do without the fancy stuff. It cost us 70 euro for 2 people without cocktails or desert.

T R.

Yelp
Excellent food. Not nearly as pricey as the "€€€€" on yelp would imply. I'd place it at the local standard "€€". Food was excellent. Had seared tuna, mozzarella fried anchovies, seabass with lemon sauce, and veal guanciale. All delicious. Would return.

Ali D.

Yelp
The food was pretty good but please remember that the first plate will be a small plate due to Traditional Italians eat 3 course meal. The pizza was REALLY delicious.

Tom K.

Yelp
Nice, attentive, helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere. A fun place. Food is very fresh.

Lon Z.

Yelp
Outstanding! Not only with food but the ambiance, as well. Delightful in-door/out-door experience to accompany our dinner.

Stenly R.

Yelp
I researched this restaurant and it's quite well know in the region and it's one of the very few restaurants in Minori. For that reason we ate here 3 times. Beautiful setting to dine underneath a lemon trees canopy. Lots of seafood with octopus as my favourite. I actually ordered that dish on all 3 visits. It's grilled too perfection. The staff takes their job very serious and maybe a bit to serious. No one seems to smile. I wanted to switch from wine to a cocktail and was in the mood for a refreshing mojito on a very hot sultriness evening. When I asked the waiter for one, he told me with quite the attitude, we don't do mojitos. Ok seriously. You're not a Michelin star restaurant, as you think you are, so keep your attitude. I then asked for a Hendricks tonic with cucumber. They presented the bottle to me as they were showing me a bottle of Cristalle and pour it in front of me. It was a nice touch but it would have been nicer if he wouldn't gave me the stink eye before

Tucker C.

Yelp
Disappointing food. We chose this spot based on the strong Yelp score. Big mistake! The setting was beautiful but the food was overpriced and of poor quality. The best meals we had in Minori were at Bar Antares. The pizza and pasta we had there on multiple occasions far exceeded the same at Giardinello's
