Ristorante Hotel Lido di Angera is a wonderful family run hotel in one of the most amazing corners of Lake Maggiore. The hotel has a very long history and is one of the best for value, location and friendliness. The restaurant is mentioned as a top spot in the Michelin guide because of the high-class creative menu and and the striking view you can enjoy from the terrace. The service is very kind, fast and everyone will go the extra mile to help you enjoy at best your stay. In addition, there is a small pier if you plan to come by boat (or by seaplane...).

Great lake side location, perfect for functions. Property has a small beach where it is possible to swim.

They probably won a Michelin star in lottery. All white wine were warm - plus we did not receive the wine we've ordered. We asked for milk free dishes (milk/lactose intolerance) - and received dishes with milk. In general we received nothing as ordered and everything was different! We finished our dishes and received the next one, without having the empty plates collected. We came since we had a great experience two days before with the lunch menu.

Do not go there if you are vegan. Even though the restaurant was aware of the need for a couple of vegan menus in advance, they were unprepared. We were served fake meat, fake cheese and hummus straight out of their plastic packaging. For the main, a piece of caoutchouc with no taste and difficult to chew was accompanied by a spoon of vegetables. For dessert we had to be satisfied with a couple of dices of pineaple. Very disapointing and unsatisfactory. A pity when Italy has so many delicious and naturally plant-based dishes. I would not recommend.

Location is very nice, next to the lake and the food in the Restaurant is very delicious. On the other hand the room in the hotel was not clean, the hotel itself a bit messy and most of the stuff seems not motivated at all. So I wouldnt recommend it.

Real nice hotel on the Lago Maggiore. Beautiful rooms, the owners make you feel at home. The restaurant is superb, crativity and great flavours. A place to recommend.

Excellent location, cuisine and staff. Definitely a must-see and experience when in town!
