We hadn't booked a table, so we were fortunate to find one available. All the dishes we had were excellent, the service discrete but attentive. Having 3 courses each, wine and water, the bill was less than 100€.

During three weeks in Sardinia, the only place we went back for a second dinner. Nothing too fancy, but both times fantastic fresh, well prepared and served seafood in a very friendly setting.

The second 5 *Star restaurant that we were fortunate to experience in Sardinia. Ristorante II Portico in the city of Nuoro is a well run restaurant with a great staff that offers delicious food and wine. The owner/host was friendly and very kind. His entree recommendations and wine selection was spot on. I am still thinking about the delicious lamb chops and ribeye steak combination. The plating was a work of art and the table service was superb. The complete meal for the two of us was approximately $68. Try getting that value in New York city or Boston USA for a *5 Star dinner. Bon Appetit!!

Unique dishes not experienced by us in Sardinia before, not a Pizza insight and the pecorino flan is to die for!

Excellent local specialties. Loved the primo of pasta with lamb and my main of seabream wrapped in the thin bread you see everywhere (I don’t know the name) was delicious! The service was equally excellent and our waiter spoke good English enthusiastically.

First of all, make sure you either arrive early or have a booking as you're likely to not get a seat otherwise!
Great atmosphere and the food speaks for itself. Absolutely amazing.
Ordered the veal, lamb, and guinea fowl; dish after dish culinary perfection! Highly recommended.
