Spaghetti Bolognese was average. Almost no meat, little sauce. Pasta was overpriced a lot. What saves the day is tuna grilled steak, which was very good! 75 euro for single course supper for a family 2+2.

I’m glad I tried out this place. The Calamaretti Fritti is by far one of THE BEST (if not the best one) I have ever had 🤤, plus wife approved as well so lol 😝…. Regarding the rest of the dishes: the eggplant was different and yummy, tuna was fresh and tasty, eggplant pasta was ok, pulp with potatoes delicious and the filled calamari was a bumb 🤩🤤! As for the tiramisu… they could have done better. Nonetheless this is place worth of spending your money. 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 second plus 1 desert and water was 💶 100…. Not bad for that much of food!

We had an exceptional meal this evening at La Baracca! The seafood was incredible. So fresh and perfectly prepared. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good seafood. Also, the prices are so reasonable.

Aperol Spritz with very little aperol in it, so we asked if they can add some to get a normal / standard drink. After this request three rude staff refused to do so, arguing about it like clowns in front of whole restaurant. Long argument about this with no success… after this all the staff behaving like they were offended. We were shocked:Pathetic behaviour, poor service, totally average meal, relatively expensive. We recommend to go elsewhere on the beach.

Awful service, bad atmosphere but nice food. We were made to feel like an inconvenience to the staff for daring to want food. If they didn’t want to serve customers they shouldn’t have opened the restaurant. The food was nice, but their attitude ruined it. Their response to my review says it all really... if you wanted to be treated poorly come here!

Yelp
Awesome food. Home made pasta. Had the pasta with squid (tint included) and it was delicious. Also had a tasty appetizer that consisted of octopus, shrimp, and calamari. Staff consisted of owner and his wife. Very friendly. Prices very reasonable.

Yelp
Food is good but too many flies.... if not careful, you would find them on the bread and in your entire...

Yelp
This was the best meal we've had in sicily so far! Went in hoping for a quick bite, maybe a panini or bowl of pasta. Man were we surprised! The restaurant inside was quaint and we knew we hit the jackpot when we saw the octopus alive in the water! Talk about fresh! The menu has pictures and is also translated into English. The staff (all 3 of them) couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. We had the caponata, caprese, polpio, and seafood appetizers; all delicious and freshly made. Entrees were squid ink pasta, pasta with sausage, shrimp and cream pasta, and pasta with seafood. The portions were large and came out piping hot! We were struggling but managed to finish every bite! Perfectly cooked, fresh pasta. Everything made fresh. The owner, Sebastian, explained that everything is freshly made, no freezer!! Awesome! Had cassata and chocolate pistachio cake, both delicious. The owner chatted with us for a few minutes and gave us some tips on places to visit. He explained the photos on the wall that he took and the book he wrote. Perfect experience. Skip the fancy places and go here!! Amazing!!
