We were lucky to get the last available table as a walk in. That meant we didn't get to see the patio or the main dining room, but the food and services made up for it. Inventive, tasty dishes (the poached egg and beans was a standout). Great wine pairing. Wonderful bread basket. Friendly, capable service, despite the slightly upmarket vibe. Recommended.

Great restaurant, on the Michelin guide, which is how we found it. The boar main was amazing, cooked to perfection. Other dishes were good but nothing to write home about. Service was very good.

Super efficient place with a lively ambience. More bankers than a government bailout but they seem to be enjoying themselves. Well executed food. Creative and well made with good ingredients. Some of the best waiters anywhere.

Great place with creative Italian cuisine. This was one of the best experiences in Milan. Amazing food, good service, and nice interior. Even during lunch it was crowded, so recommend booking a table in advance.

The food was great, but the portions were pricey and way too small. I don't mind to give good money for food, but we had first second and dessert and we went out of there hungry. I found the senior people from the service amazing and really helpful and so welcoming I loved that. However, the younger people seemed a bit as they wanted to show us it is not place for us for some reason. Maybe because we didn't wear something too fancy and we as tourists just found out this place. I don't know the reason but I found it a bit pretentious and I could not relax and enjoy it completely.

Wide selection of milanese dishes, nice ambient in quiet street opp historic site. V good service n wide selection of italian wines...conterno, monfortino... reasonable pricing for dishes n serving size

A little gem. You never expect such a lovely place when you arrive at the door. The food is impeccable with a little twist on traditional dishes. The service was friendly and the owner/manager is present with full interest on each and every guest. The garden is lovely and quiet. It was a really nice surprise for us

La Brisa restaurant Milan. Just left a very disappointing dinner at this highly rated Milan restaurant. As has been noted in other reviews the waiters are remarkably indifferent. We don't know if it was because we're Americans but after we'd already ordered and were served our meal we noted that diners around us were having white truffles shaved on some of their dishes though the truffles were not on the printed menu. When I mentioned this to our waiter he said oh I forgot to tell you about the truffles though he'd managed to tell me twice that the vegetable salad that was on the printed menu wasn't available. As Manhattanites we're accustomed to sophisticated menus and cuisines but at La Brisa we found the menu choices to be limited and uninspired and not well executed--one starter was basically a plateful of ham we could have gotten at our local Italian deli. Our dessert was a "culturally-appropriated" brownie which was dry & tasteless.

Unfriendly staff. No smile from Waiter. Average food. Go to a walk in Osteria for better experience.

This place was recommended by a friend back home. Booked well in advance.We sat in the courtyard. Great setting. Everything else was just ok.service was poor. We tipped in every restaurant we had a meal in for the past 2 1/2 weeks but didn't here. Expensive for the small portion size Maybe just a bad night for them

I have mixed feelings for this place. Food was good (4 stars) I loved the terrace, a real oasis of peace and green in the hustle and bustle of the centre (5 stars). I loved the tortoise that roamed around in the restaurant (5 stars). But I was mostly ignored by the waiters and it took me two hours to have lunch. Which is ok if you're on vacation, not really if you have business meetings scheduled (2 stars). So I guess they get 4 stars as an average this time.

I must have gotten lucky because I felt the service was excellent even though the restaurant was very crowded. Ambience lovely. I found the food a bit precious so I deducted one star. Prices did not seem as high as the Yelp rating suggested. The food is Italian with some Spanish influence.
