Loved the heart of Parma ham. It was soooooo soft! Pumpkin ravioli was good. Though you have to eat quickly otherwise it turned dry a bit as not a lot to sauce came with. Pasta with wild boar was good. Tiramisu is a must-order.

Service so bad!!! A man who was not able to smile was the first person we saw.. service like in a cafeteria: too fast and not good! They were too busy kicking people out! Nobody ask if we wanted a drink, no bread and cheese with the pasta… gnocchis with pesto (the photo) disgusting! One of the worst meal I had in a few years.. and the worst in Italy.. do not go there: it is a tourists trap… nobody can smile in that restaurant, I wonder why they work there.. and one of the chef (!) came out of the kitchen: so dirty it was also disgusting… lucky for us we had a bottle of wine to forget this evening..DON’T GO THERE!

Google
it's on the 50 best discovery list, it really does not disappoint. but highly recommend to make a reservation, i saw people got turned away without reservation even they were waiting at the door before it's open. The restaurant offers good amount of traditional dishes from this region. the pasta is great, Bis di tortelli (Erbetta & Zucca): really good flavor a good vegetarian option with zucchini and pumpkin Tagliatelle al ragù di strolghino di culatello: very flavorful and a lot of meat . Horsemeat steak is very tender cooked to perfection. The service was great, the restaurant inside looks pretty traditional with big exposed beams. quiet too, easy to have a conversation

No touristy place. Pasta is homemade. Loved the fried Gnocchi. Truffle Pasta was very intense and heavy. Millefeulle was special but not convincing enough to take it a second time.

I had this restaurant in my list, seemed to be highly recommended and we were absolutely not disappointed ! The ambiance is great, we were so well welcomed (Adorabke Team ) ! the food is … generous and delicious !! I had the Anolini in brodo, we had parmigiano and prosciutto (of course) ! I love that you can see the kitchen from where we seat. This restaurant is one of the best we tried in Parma ! 5 stars !

Was able to get the last walk-in table for the evening, the rest of the tables had reservations. I was able to order the entrees I was most curious about, Taglierini w truffle;Tortellini in broth for starters, Grilled Horse meat & Eggplant Parm for secondi and Tiramisu for dessert. Had the local sparkling red, a first for me. Very tasty. Everything that was served was amazing. I really enjoyed my experience dining here.

Google
Amazing dinner with homemade pasta - even glutenfree! We followed a recommendation and visited la Greppia for dinner. It was great! The homemade pasta tastes amazing and I could have glutenfree gnocchi. They really just melt in your mouth and the sauce is to die for! The ambiente in their outside patio is really nice and the service is always attentive and super polite. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Wonderful experience at this friendly restaurant. Gluten and lactose free aware. Marco was really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I'm gluten and lactose free and had a great Gnocchi. My partner (no dietary needs) also ate well and was thoroughly happy with his food. Service was friendly and atmosphere was local and buzzing for dinner. A big recommendation for when in Parma.

Yelp
Parma ham (36 month proscuitto) and the parmigiano regianno (30 month) with balsalmic were the stars of the meal. Imagine your ideal proscuitto--nutty, salty, dry, complex--and that was it. In comparison to the store-bought variety, this proscuitto had a more toothsome texture and subtle aftertaste. The cheese was delicious (coming from a person who usually dislikes cheese), and the balsalmic really brought out the dry, nutty, and floral notes. There was almost none of that sweet milk fat flavor characteristic of younger cheeses due to the aging time. The pasta: disappointingly bland; the meat was overcooked and underseasoned and the pasta tasted more like egg noodles than wheat pasta. It's sad to say that I've had better pasta in the States... Also, I usually don't say anything negative about service, but the waiters seemed very impatient and almost condescending with us? I don't know if it's just because of the language barrier (tbh I'd hate on tourists too lol)

Yelp
Wonderful fresh made pastas. Nice decor with linen tablecloths, etc. Ambience is special occasion, but prices are very reasonable.

Yelp
Lets be clear the food was good - so why only 2 stars? well if you pay 60€ for ok food in Italy, you are paying too much. The whole place was pretentious, from the way the waiters walked deliberately slow, to their posh/ upper class glances. it was not that we received bad service, its just that i see no need for the pretentious atmosphere, overly expensive water, and food. But if you are there for the "experience" and you are into that sort of stuff... go for it.

Yelp
The rose of Parma is a game changer. It's beef- I think rolled with prosciutto and Parmesan and grilled and served on a bed of spinach. So delicious!!!

Yelp
Overall an excellent meal with good flavors and presentation for a little more upscale evening out. The service was a little interesting hence down one notch. Seemed to be a mix of locals and tourists. Four of us started out with antipasto selections of Parma ham and parmigiano reggiano. Both were excellent with tender, non-fatty meat and tasty cheese with a drizzle of quality balsamic. The bottle of local lambrusco (€14) was a nice complement. I think we threw the waiter off a little when we indicated we were sharing the rest of the dishes as he muttered something and it took quite a while to get the rest of our dinner when many other plates went by on a regular basis. Our tortellini with nettles, broad beans, kale and pesto was tasty but pretty lukewarm as our friend's tagliolini pasta came out steaming hot. Confit Pork filet with pecan sauce and crispy celery was fantastic flavor and very tender so a good choice. Other entree of stuffed veal with roasted potatoes was very good also. They served us a small platter of complimentary dessert treats which was a nice touch! One interesting twist was when we went to pay we got a receipt and thought that was our credit card receipt but the cashier got a little upset as was expecting us to write down our tip, on top of the €2.50 each pane e coperto charge each. Seemed a little strong arm but overall it did not detract too much from a decent evening. Came to €52 a couple including the wine but only one appetizer, one primi and one second course per couple.

Yelp
I still remember their antipasti very well. Culatello di Zibello from November 2012 that would make you feel that your life is complete. Obviously, this place is for fancy pants - with our dinner bill rounding up to almost 70 euro for two, but the meal was totally worth it. We had the said culatello for antipasti and I got tagliatelle with prosciutto and artichoke while my friend got tagliatelle with mullet bottarga. The food was delicious. I didn't have any complaint at all. Service was excellent and they made sure that we had great dining experience and was very welcoming to us who were obviously tourists in Parma. Overall a great place to dine, a little bit on the expensive side, but totally worth the meal

Yelp
Great ambiance, food and servers. We were close enough to watch the chef and sous chefs prepare the food. They had menus in English. We chose the meat and cheese anti pasta, a variety of 1st course and second course options. Two of us chose a dessert. All of our food was excellent. Our server recommended a red wine which completed our food would definitely recommend

Yelp
Great, delicious, imaginative, food with strong local flavors, top-of-the line friendly service, with an excellent choice of wine and liquors, all at very reasonable prices. Most everything we ate stood out: a ricotta and pistachio amuse bouche, hearty toasted pancetta & cheese bites with delicate grilled asparagus spears on top; a goat cheese flan with Swiss chard in a goat cheese soup, ravioli filled with the local pumpkin and amoretti, Guinea hen stuffed with reconstituted dried plums in sauce, and a Babá with a mint and rum sauce... Our waiter gave us a wonderful Lambrusco, and matched a light local red wine perfectly with our later courses. Great choices in desert wines and after dinner drinks.
