Ristorante La Lampara

Stopped in for a bite and was pleasantly surprised. Great food, excellent service and champagne by the glass! I would eat here again in a heartbeat if I am ever in Sciacca again.

This restaurant impresses with its sophisticated presentation and high-quality dishes, complemented by attentive service. The prices, while above average, reflect the quality of the meals. However, the location leaves something to be desired. Situated on a busy road leading to the port, the ambiance is disrupted by the constant bustle, and accessing the restaurant requires taking an elevator, which might be inconvenient for some. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience remains positive, making it a good choice for those seeking refined cuisine and are less concerned about the setting.

Very good food with fresh ingredients. Super close to the harbor with a nice view but unfortunately it’s right above one of the main streets and this ruins a bit the atmosphere if there is traffic

Lack of taste and bad combinations of flavors. Try to combine the five main flavors of the tongue. The restaurant itself was very cleans and pleasant, but the surrounding area is horrible. Not the restaurant’s fault, but be aware it’s a fish port or something. Staff was mostly good but we sensed an underlying irritation from one of the women in particular. Summary, we don’t think the price matched the overall experience and we’ll not visit again. Hopefully the restaurant will take this feedback with them to improve their experience. 😊

Top notch restaurant. Must experience ,food and wine is exceptional Excellent service and info on wine provided. Their Grappa selection also amazing. Gets busy so book early to avoid disappointment. Nice view over the harbour and parking close by, steps to old town right next door. Probably for me best in Sciacca.

We went to Sciccia to see the harbour and stumbled across this restaurant and had the best meal of our 2 weeks stay in Sicily. We were here at lunch time during a week in the beginning of September and it was a quiet and clientele `grown-up´. We chose the tasting menu and the food was amazing, based on Sicilian tradition and ingredients. The staff was friendly and professional, and the room was nice and cool on a very hot and humid afternoon. A great experience and would recommend it to anyone who wants to mark an occasion or as a special treat!

Poetry for the soul and the palate. Never tasted something like Mazara’s shrimps, it’s an indescribable experience. If you’re visiting Sciacca this one is a must.

This is an unexpected place - second floor, discreet entrance - but possibly the best restaurant in Sciacca. Raw red shrimp and scampi are highly, highly recommended. Top notch seafood. Excellent wine list. Maria should take good care of you.
