Very traditional roman cousins in a modern "osteria" with exceptional service and a good plates. My favourites were "carciofi alla giuda, fritto alla romana, carbonara and tiramisu". The local is big with different rooms indoors and outdoors. You must get a reservation.

Wonderful dinner with a large group. We were downstairs in a private room. Amatriciana and Carbonara were both excellent as was the dessert. Service was also wonderful. One area that needs attention was the fruit flies, there were a lot of fruit flies. Otherwise wonderful meal and service.

Amazing service, they managed to fit us in without a reservation after leaving our phone number if they found us a place. The carbonara was mouthwatering 😍

Awesome food and great quality of the ingredients! 🍝 the portions are HUGE, so pay attention on what you order. Price a bit higher but the place has a reputation and history and the portions - once again - are HUGE. You can take way in case you want to eat the day after. I recommend the “Carciofo alla Giuda”. Service was fast and punctual.

The atmosphere is nice all are local people , but the service is slow maybe because it was a Saturday, also the food came separately not together so some of the food became cold , and as for the food it was okay rustic flavors very simple nothing special ,the price is good for its portion which i might add where very big

The pasta was average, too much salt. Menu was quite out of date, at least in English.

Loved everything about this place. The rich history and food. We went twice while in Rome. They did not disappoint. We ordered the rigatoni alla carbonara, antipasto di polpetta(meatball appetizer) and rigatoni with oxtail ragu. The portions are decent and the flavor was great. One of the visits can be seen on YouTube the Joel&Joel show...along with previous episodes for other food conversations. This is our stop for now on when we're in Rome. Grazie Claudio (the innkeeper) and family!
