Ristorante Le Roi

The food and service at this lovely restaurant are second to none. The fillet steak with green pepper sauce was very nice. As was the calabrese pizza from the classic menu.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant so we came (without much expectations) but it turned out to be surprisingly nice. We didn't reserve but the staff were welcoming, smiling and friendly. The waitress named Susanna took our orders and delivered the food faster than we thought as the restaurant was super busy with groups of sports people that evening. We enjoyed our dinner and Susanna was so friendly and sweet, I said she is very beautiful, her face is amazing !! (she said thanks to the Korean facial skin care...) Beautiful !!! The people are extremely friendly, helpful and flexible. Arrived before they opened for dinner. They let us sit at the table and have a drink before the kitchen was ready. The food is excellent, the menu card has a good choice and the prices are fair. We stayed overnight at one of their apartments and all went very well. I can only recommend this place!

First we found the staff’s demeanor to be less welcoming than expected, which affected the overall atmosphere. The food was satisfactory, though it was priced on the higher side given the portion sizes. The desserts were completely disappointing.

We visited Ristorante Le Roi during a ski trip, following a recommendation from our hotel—and we’re so glad we did! From the warm welcome to the very last sip of their homemade grappa, everything was exceptional. We started with a fantastic appetizer, followed by a perfectly prepared ossobuco for the main course, paired with a bottle of regional Merlot. To round it all off, the dessert was delightful, and the host treated us to a complimentary grappa to finish the meal. The whole experience was top-notch—great food, a cozy atmosphere, and incredible hospitality. We’ll happily come back again! Highly recommended!

Definetely 5 stars here! Good value for money. The portions are good and the service is also excellent. We enjoyed all the dishes we had form start to finish. The pizzas were really delicious and the Dow quite crunchy. Also very nice grilling of the steaks and the deer. For the deserts I recommend that you try the semi Fredo. Recommended when in Madonna di campiglio!
