Ristorante Libanese - Gibran

We had a late lunch of Makluba carne (beef) and two Mjadara carne (lamb) served with rice. Service could have been faster as we were there earlier than a couple whom came in later. Food tasted okay, portion could be bigger. Honestly, we’ve had better Lebanese food elsewhere. It was a bit pricey for a party of three (even by Venice standards) and we also had brought our own drinks and ordered a sprite for one in our party. The server was also our cook and that shows something about a place. The only thing good about this place is that it’s Halal. But there are other options just down the lane which are also Halal.

A lovely place for some soul-warming food. The place is tidy and cozy, the menu simple but mouth-watering. The host is very kind. The food: loved it. Traditional in the sense that it feels like having a home-cooked meal (a big thing if you are travelling!) that warms your body after a long day of walking in chilling weather. I had a starter of lentil soup and tea so I was toasty by the time the dips, bread and rice with meat came. The sous drink was cherry on top. Highly recommended if you want a hug after a day of sightseeing.

Horrible Food & Service – Stay Away! This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I only went because of their halal options, but I regret every penny spent. First, they served us overcooked food. When we asked for a replacement, they gave us undercooked rice that was completely inedible. Instead of fixing their mistake, they had the nerve to blame us, saying we ordered it that way! The service was rude, unprofessional, and completely careless. This place is a disgrace—don’t waste your time or money here. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, not even for free!

Amazing restaurant! Family run and cozy, we loved the atmosphere food and attention to customer service. They treated our kids like royalty! The food was fresh, good portions and tasty. Prices are fair as well. We dined in for dinner on a Friday evening.

Just the perfect place to take a break from the pasta/pizza meals! It was absolutely delicious. The flavours were on point. Even though we went late in the night (10pm) everything was made fresh to order. I did prefer the lamb kebabs to the beef (personal preference perhaps). The humus and pita was fabulous but the salad was the star for me. Would love to visit them again on our next trip!

Food was really good. We are used to having skewers over charcoal grill so we were a little nervous having it over a flat top. To our surprised it was really well cooked and delicious. Nice char bits. The salad was good too. Normally it just falls flat as a garnish but we both ate it all. My wife never eats salads in restaurants, so this says a lot. Taboule was amazing. One of the best we've had. Sadly. The 3 stars are caused by the high prices and small plates. We left the restaurant hungry after paying 52 euros. My recommendation to everyone reading this is: if you wanna take a break from all the Italian food and money is not an issue for you, go eat here! Delicious food.

Very nice food, we came to Venice first time, and halal options was not too many. I found it only. Kebabs are soft reminds me Persian and Uzbek kebabs. ANYWAY IT LEBANESE. I am happy from the food . Ibrahim( Abramo) is very hospital and helpful. Thank you Gibran restaurant making our trip memorable.

Delicious and authentic Lebanese food. The food was greasy and orders came fast. The place is nicely decorated so you cannot miss the place. Highly recommended for those who are looking for different food experience. The staff are kind and ready to adopt to your request. Moreover, the meat and chicken are halal.
