Google
Pizza....and Pizza...After the restaurant got bigger, it lost a bit of the atmosphere, but the food keeps the quality over many visits and gives some variation in the daily menu, so you can get surprised. Maybe the best pizza in Berlin (Maybe no more since 2019 but still good). Pasta with swordfish was delicious! Great with kids in Summer...Now open on Sundays again. It has it's own style and atmosphere ....

Google
Down to earth place serving hearty southern Italian cuisine. Popular for its pizza. Large variety. We ordered both pasta and pizza and it didn't disappoint. There were a lot of families dining when we were there during dinner. Perhaps a testament to its quality and value for money. Servings are rather large and it's inexpensive. Service is attentive too. Highly recommended.

Google
Good pizza place in Germany, it's packed even on a Wednesday. The pizza's are delicious and the service is quick to answer to your needs. They're even a bit to quick because we didn't finish our starter and the pizza's where already there.

Google
One of my favorites since many years. ✨ One of the best Vitello tornato in town, a must try definitely. Pizza is very good as well. Can also recommend the pasta with fish.

Google
I really recommend u to visit this place if u are in Berlin. The pizza tastes so good, also the soup was very good. I would say its a piece of Italy in Berlin.

Google
Excellent service, the seafood is very fresh and well cooked. Highlight on the Al dente pasta.

Google
Great Italian oven. The pizzas are the best in town. The service is efficient, and usually you get a table without a reservation (except Fridays and sats). I’m often there when looking for Italian food. Young crowd and great ambience

Yelp
Loved the pizza and the outside ambiance. Closed friends had recommended the place. True Neapolitan wood fired pizza, tastes totally authentic Italian. They even had my favorite wheat beer: Weihenstephan. Your perfect urban pizza place. I will be back on my next Berlin visit

Yelp
The place is a classic Italian joint in every way with a bonus. A great Biergarten to enjoy.

Yelp
Delicious Italian food in an outdoor setting, located across from Hasenheide Park. Plenty of room for large groups. I had a pizza with eggplant and Parmesan cheese, it was supposed to have basil but there were only 3 pieces on the whole pizza and I wished there were a few more but it was very tasty nonetheless. Good dough and lots of sauce and cheese which went down well since I hadn't eaten lunch. I ordered a large beer and couldn't finish it so gave the rest to my dad and brother. Nice place to stop for pizza or pasta after a wonderful day out in the Park.

Yelp
Another Yelp assisted discover this authentic Italian pizza place in Berlin was amazing. Staff was great, English was sufficient to order, and the service prompt. The pizza was absolutely amazing, a very thin crust, generous toppings and wonderful taste. My wife has spaghetti the was delicious. Masaniello is an Italian treasure in the heart of Berlin.

Yelp
Pizza was burned all over. My friend s pizza was fine, mine inedible. Service was italian, without the italian charm... the interior old old old... the lighting not ideal for dates... there is much better neapolitan Pizza nowadays... fortunately.

Yelp
If you are looking for an authentic Italian place this is it! They have a variety of amazing pizzas made of the best products straight from Italy. The menu is not too long, and the prices are a bit higher than in an average pizzeria, but here you pay for the quality you get. The Pastas are also very tasty and aromatic. If you are going with a bigger group try the antipasti plate for an appetizer. The staff is very nice and atmosphere is relaxed. You can enjoy your dinner in a slow Italian way.

Yelp
This is my favorite Pizza place in Berlin. Whenever I go there it is always packed with Italians, so they must be doing something right! They have a huge variety of Pizzas and I have tried several of them and I really like the S.T.G Pizza Margherita mit Tomate, Mozzarella und Basilico it is amazing. I The outdoor seating is really lovely in the spring and summer, and the staff are friendly and attentive... all from Italy you can practice your Italian language skills! One thing I wouldn't reccomend is the house wine... order off the wine list, sit on the terrace enjoy a slice of pizza and you'll feel like your on a little mini Italian vacation! :)

Yelp
I've been told that this is the best Neopolitan pizza in Berlin, if not the best pizza in general. After a year of hearing about it and walking by it I finally went with my friend for a nice dinner. We were seated promptly, greeted with smiles and kindness. We shared a nice pizza with gorgonzola and salsiccia, along with a tomato and onion salad and a small carafe of house wine. We're both not small guys, and we were totally content with the amount of food, even taking home 3 slices of left over pie. We finished with the mascarpone desert which was amazing, and two ridiculously strong and flavorful espressos. While I have yet to decide if it's really the BEST pizza in Berlin, I can honestly say that it was definitely quite good, but the gnocchi really was the impressive dish on our table. Highly recommend this place. By the way, the main courses look amazing, but just a bit too pricey for my budget normally.

Yelp
Overrated. It's a busy pizza hub for the ones relying on Mundpropaganda and internet rating portals ;) so you will mainly find young people there using their smartphones and talking about their latest project in the creative area. The interior is not really cosy. The pizzas are quite big, araound 7 to 9 euros and really good, but by no means crunchy. The rim is thick, the inner part thin and rather soft or floppy. The idea with the parmesan on the pizza is great. The buffalo mozzarella is being good but the aroma of the other ingredients are too strong, so it's hard to note whether it is "bufala di campana" or it isn't. The waiters are quick and short in words, polite but to a certain degree also appear to be kind of annoyed - or alternatively "cool", because their restaurant is so popular they don't need to be really friendly. The question if the food was good doesn't seem to be a honest question.. So far, I'll just give two stars - because I think there are better places for getting a good pizza. I'd suggest maybe da Dante with their crunchy pizzas in Oranienstraße or Ron Telesky with their innovative pizzas in Gräfekiez (although both also have a lack of friendlyness)

Yelp
Today we once again sampled the wonder of Italy, while still at home in Berlin. Ristorante Masaniello (not to overstate it) is the shit. Run by a family from Naples, the place charmed from the moment we entered and the wood powered oven cooked our divine pizza margherita. Who knew that a little tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella and basil was all you really needed on a pizza? Oh right - the Italians. This place reconfirms that all you need is the right ingredients to make transcendent food. We ordered another pizza with salami and, olives & artichokes....but that margherita stole our heart. Its pure creamy goodness was exactly what we wanted. And their spicy oil was even better than XXL - an impressive feat. On top of all this, our Italian server, homey decor, and temptress of a courtyard already have us planing for a return visit. Parents - we are taking you here. You're welcome.

Yelp
Really, the best pizzas in Berlin. Ok the place is not glamour and a bit noisy (avoid for a date). Ok this is overcrowded and the staff might be a bit .... well direct. And the wine list is not extraordinary for the price. BUT the pizzas are just delicious and really close to what you do find in Naples.

Yelp
Very authentic Italian pizza. Super tasty, and the service is good. This is my favorite pizzeria in Berlin. It gets busy sometimes, but usually it's possible to get a table and quick service. Way better food and better atmosphere than in some of the more tourist-y pizzerias in Kreuzberg. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Not the best in Berlin, but very good pizza. Service on the evening we were there was horrible. The man was rude and we had to wait at least 15 minutes for our drinks. Rest of the staff seemed nice though, maybe our guy just had a bad day. Nice outside garden! Would have given 4 stars if we had been treated better.

Yelp
Fantastic! Service was great. It was 4 of us. Good was incredible. Highly recommended. Ordered salami, olive and artichoke pizza. As well as ham and artichoke pizza along with arugula salad. Red house wine was a winner. Less than 40 euro total for 4 of us

Yelp
This is the best place to get food around Hasenheide. The pizzas are great and the seafood is always fresh when when you find it on the menu.

Yelp
I really love this place and have already been there a few times after having my birthday dinner there. It is always busy and it's pretty warm in the restaurant probably from the oven but it's worth it as the pizza and toppings are delicious!!!! I love the fresh buffalo mozzarella and chunks of tomato and fresh basil pizza it is superb!!!! But I agree with a previous poster that the rim of the pizza is perfectly cooked and crispy but the inner part is rather mushy this could be improved. I still will continue going back because I really enjoy the pizza I have tried the spaghetti with olives and chilli and very much enjoyed that dish as well:)

Yelp
The food : very good. Pizzas, bruschettas, ... , For the service, it s a bit rough, but i guess it s the "Napoli" way.. The place : nice
google avatar

Cris V.

Yelp
Never again. We waited 1 hour and 10 min for the drinks, and 35 more min for the pizza. We were going to ask one of the ladies what was the problem that we were waiting that much, and she didn't even respond, she left with a rude expression. Actually, pizzas were good, but not worthy almost 2 hours of waiting.

Ysa L.

Yelp
One of the worst italian restaurant i went to. I trusted comments on Trip Advisor while searching a good restaurant for this evening but it was a bad experience. The service... after 40 min we got the drinks and after 1h10 we got the pizza. The waitors were unfriendly. The pizza... the pasta was mainly burned , and the "Parmaschinken" was not a real one and etremly salty. I couldn t eat it. So, if you search a good italian restaurant in Berlin, dont go to Masaniello but to Papa pane. There you have a real organized service and delicious pizza with fresh products !! (Reserve before because it s always full)

Yelp
Wood fired, traditional Neapolitan pizza. Not worth going for anything else - pasta is mediocre and salads are what they are. But the pizzas are fantastic!!! Super busy so reservations are recommended for more than 3 people. Sometimes they can squeeze you in if your a couple. In the summer they have a nice patio!
google avatar

Rachel F.

Yelp
If you can get a spot on the patio, this place is great. It's possibly the best pizza I've had in Germany, and better than some I had in Italy. The eggplant pizza was my favourite.

Robin G.

Yelp
Possibly the best pizza in Berlin. Nice place with lovely garden in summer. highly recommended.

Yelp
Yes! best pizza I've had in Berlin, much better than Cassolare which is just going downhill all the time. Perfect dough, juicy tomato base, generous toppings

Qype User (lulua5…)

Yelp
The pizza was great, the pasta just as much and the service firendly and quick. Nice place to be in. PS I am italian :)

Yelp
As a fan of Pizza I'm always on the search for a good eatery, I've eaten Pizza in the oldest Pizza restaurant in the world and many others in the home city of Pizza, Napoli. I have my benchmark. An Italian neighbour of mine and an Italian friend of mine both separately recommended this restaurant to me I had to try. Here they do Pizza Napoli, among other things, but for now I want to talk Pizza because I do not think I will be able to order anything non-pizza when I come here. I have eaten here about 4 times and eaten 5 types of Pizza (c'mon, I was hungry that day!!) each time I have not been disappointed. The pizza base (a common fail in other restaurants) was balanced, flavorful, thin and crispy at the edges and not soggy in the middle. All the toppings were tasty and fresh. Win Win!! The staff are friendly enough but ran off their feet because it is very busy, service is relatively quick and facilities are small but well kept. Best advice, especially at the weekend, is to book a table in advance, you don't want the dissapointment of seeing OTHER people enjoying those lovely pizzas without you!

Yelp
we went on a saturday night. the place, especially the outside area, was quiet crowded. reservation was necessary. Aperol-Prosecco was good. vino della casa is not to be recommended, though the waiter did. now the menu says the seafood serverd is 'surgelato' which means frozen as my italian-american company told me. upon request however the waiter offered us three different plates of fresh seafood. we went for spaghetti alle vongole and the pizza with buffalo mozzarella, passata, basil and olive oil. pasta was decent. the pizza was good but the crust didn't convince neither of us. the staff is incredibly unattentive and slow. decor is old and not authentic. plywood just doesn't do it. wont be seen there again

Qype User (cakeea…)

Yelp
