Excellent place for white tablecloth fine dining. The dishes we had were quite good (though maybe a little salty for those not used to eating a lot of salt). The steak was the best we’ve had in Florence and was actually medium-rare as ordered. The meatballs and pasta were great, as expected in Italy. The service was fast and friendly. Overall, this is an excellent option for dinner, and we’ll be back for sure!

Lovely local find! We walked-in right when the shop opened. Really friendly staff who checked in on us and gave recommendations without sounding pushy or hurried. The Florentine steak is a must-try. Even my steak-averse partner loved it. Also get the pear-stuffed pasta with gorgonzola sauce, and dont miss their tiramisu.

Truly amazing restaurant with very interesting vegetarian options on the menu that one could not find elsewhere! The artichoke salad and the pear pasta with gorgonzola were exceptional! The staff were super nice and friendly. Definitely in my top restaurants in Florence! Don’t hesitate ☺️

Osteria Natalino came highly recommended by the concierge at my hotel and I’m glad I came! Sat outside for a lovely dinner, and made all my decisions based on the recommendations of the waiter. Started with a light zucchini salad with Parmesan and truffle oil, then a perfectly cooked mushroom risotto with black truffle and finished with melt in your mouth tender beef cheeks. Absolutely delicious, paired with a glass of Borollo wine! Incredible way to finish my evening in Florence! I highly recommend getting a reservation, especially during busy season! 10/10, recommended!

Fantastic! One of the top 5 best meals of my life! Service was amazing and the food was superior! Highly recommend. If you are in Florence and looking for a Florintine Steak, this is the only place you should go. We spoke to fellow local diners who are there once a week.

It's a very nice restaurant, a good balance of modern and traditional. We booked online. If you are vegetarian or otherwise fussy I would recommend looking at an updated menu or visiting earlier in the day to check as the menu changes periodically. I think there were 3 vegetarian options from the main courses which all sounded nice. We both had the gorgonzola and pear fiocchini which was delicious, as well as two desserts (tiramisu and Panna cotta) which were lovely and light.

They were nice to offer us a glass of prosecco while waiting for the table we booked. Our service staff was amazing, she always have a smile with her. Food was excellent and the Chef came to our table to make sure all the food was ok. Highly recommend and definitely will be back.

I hade the best meat stew made from beaf cheek and needed only the fork to cut for it was so soft and juicy. My italian wife said it was the best Tiramisu she had since her mom’s and she had artichokes that always makes her emotional with memories of home.

Before I begin, PLEASE ORDER THE PISTACHIO CHEESECAKE. It's absolutely delicious. This place was great. It felt very authentic and "homey." I decided to try something new and got the "Testaroli di grano antico fatti a mano." I wasn't quite sure on what the type of pasta it was before I ordered it, but I asked the waiter and they explained it to me perfectly (It's like "spongy" pieces of pasta that are cut into kind of like squares and triangles and then there's pesto "sauce" on top of it). It was very flavorful and I am so glad that I tried it. The two other people in my group ordered the Spicy Carbonara pasta and the Lasagna. Both dishes were also very delicious and definitely filled you up. Overall, this restaurant had a great vibe and the service was excellent.

My hotel concierge recommended this restaurant and made the reservation for us. Party of 9. Showed up 20 mins early and they sat us right away. This food was amazing! Nothing short of tastiness and great beer, my whole family said this was their favorite meal so far. Great area to eat dinner and walk around after, with a traditional dinner setup.

Our favs included the asparagus flan, the pear filled pasta with gorgonzola sauce, and the ravioli with pistachio pesto, burrata and sun-dried tomatoes. The service was perfect, and we felt like we had dinner in an Italian home. Favoloso!

This place was recommended by my hotel and it didn't disappoint. The Steak Florentine Scotona was epic melt in your mouth Florentine goodness . The potatoes are great and the Salad is worthy . Service was great and the prices good . Highly recommend this establishment! 5 stars

This was our favorite restaurant in Florence! We had the asparagus sformato, risotto, and rib eye steak. We highly recommend it.

This restaurant was recommended in Rick Steve's guidebook and deserved the recommendation. Outside it is rather unassuming but inside is warm and charming. They do offer inside and outside seating. For my primi, I ordered the lasagna for €13 and my secondi was the beef cheek stew and mashed potatoes (€18). The lasagna was a 5. Delicious in every way and the pasta was for real. I loved it. The meat and potatoes were very good too. The beef cheeks melted in my mouth as they were so tender. The potatoes were whipped and smooth to eat but had a slightly different after taste that spuds don't have in the US. Not bad just different. The secondi was a 4. Table service was prompt and professional. Ristorante Natalino served me an excellent dinner and left me full. I highly recommend it for a quality meal while in Firenze.

Close to the Duomo and Uffizzi. Excellent service and atmosphere. Small menu but fabulous choices. Had rabbit, and pasta stuffed with pear in Gorgonzola sauce. I was concerned it would be too rich but wasn't. Zucchini salad with truffles yummy. Threat bread and bruschetta.

This restaurant was recommended by our Airbnb host, and we were so impressed! The food was amazing, so delicious, and made me love Florence even more. The service was excellent. Ambiance was nice semi fancy dinner to be expected in Italy. - Bruschetta (4.5/5): So fresh and delicious. Amazing start to the meal. - Eggplant parmesan (5/5): Ratio of sauce to cheese to eggplant was perfect. All around so good. - Lasagna (5/5): One of my favorite lasagnas ever. Perfect amount of meat, sauce, and the pasta is so fresh. Must try.

Even though hours said open it wasn't.. we walked 15 mins to go and it was closed ?? ‍ Was pretty disappointed since we went out of way to find it but the food posted looked good. Maybe call before going no matter what yelp says.

Our wonderful Airbnb host booked us a reservation at this amazing restaurant. Truly a highlight of our visit in Italy. Our group was visiting from the United States and we had some of the best pasta ever. The service was spectacular and we had a wonderful waiter. If you are staying in Firenze, please do not miss out!

I went to this place because a restaurant I went. to recommend this place. And I'm glad that I tried this place because it has amazing pasta, the staff were all friendly, and the food didn't take that long to arrive.

Many thanks to the great staff at Hotel Bernini Palace for recommending this spot. It was pretty busy even at 8 pm so we took a table outside. Our server was wonderful and the food was excellent. Delicious salad to start and the pear stuffed pasta was just amazing. My friend's lasagna was also awesome and this is a first class spot to try in Florence!

The food and service were amazing. This is the first time a few of us tried the Bisteck Florentino and it is one I will look for again, because of this experience here. I highly recommend this restaurant! They have a great selection of wines to bring out the taste!

So, we had an ok meal. Florentine steak was excellent, sides were good. The salt Cod was fishy and my daughter wouldn't finish it. The wine is very overpriced. But our waiter was a complete asshole. I was inquiring about the specific wines from Tuscany. He continued to ask me my price range. I said it was not about the price but about the wine i like and the vineyards I typically enjoy. He then said in front of my family and guest that he wasn't trying to embarrass me or anything but needed to know my price range. Douche bag move. I am an Italian American and I've been to Italy many times with family still living here. I make wine and have about a $40,000 collection of Super Tuscan wines in my cellar. Don't treat me like an idiot. Not all Americans are clueless fools. But then at the end of the meal I checked my bill and he charged me for two bottles of wine adding an extra $100 to my bill. I called him on it and he angrily apologized and fixed it. I would never go back and urge you to check your bill carefully if you do.

Ristorante Natalino may be located right in the touristic heart of historic Florence, but don't let that deter you from visiting. The food and service are absolutely excellent! As with all restaurants in Italy, be sure to make a reservation (they'll ask when you arrive). We reserved a table in advance using an app called The Fork and were promptly seated when we arrived. Our waitress was extremely attentive and helpful throughout our whole meal. She was spot on with her dinner recommendations and everything we ordered were menu items she recommended and she didn't steer us wrong. We went with the pear filled pasta with Gorgonzola sauce. I was a little hesitant about ordering pasta filled with pear but surprisingly enough it worked! The pear added added a subtle sweetness that balanced out the salty gorgonzola sauce perfectly. I'm not sure I would want to eat a whole order of the dish by myself, but when split between my sister and I it was the perfect serving size. Next up, we had the ravioli with pistachio pesto, burrata and sun dried tomatoes. YALL. If I could eat this dish every single day, I don't think I would ever get tired of it. If you come to eat here you absolutely MUST order this. Finally, for our entree we shared the beef cheeks with mashed potatoes and you can NEVER go wrong with that. If you have the Yelp app, be sure to check-in at some point during your meal. I was very surprised when I did and was taken to a check-in offer for a shot of a house liquor. I showed the offer to our waitress and she offered us shots of limencello to cap of the end of our delicious meal. The next time I'm in Florence I'll definitely be returning.

Great steak, great artichoke salad. I also enjoyed the Santa Maria wine and the almond dessert. The place fills up fast so make reservations.

Steak price was on par for restaurants near by and was one of the worst pieces of beef I've ever had. The outside was hard and dry and none of the fat was rendered. $75 for a steak that doesn't hold a candle to nearly any steak I've had in America. House wine bottle was more than double the price of other restaurants and surely wasn't twice as good. Service was also mediocre.

What an experience! We found this restaurant on a Rick Steves forum and decided to try it out on our last night in Florence. I ordered the Papa al Pomodoro and it was incredible! The staff were funny and kind, and the restaurant had a very cozy ambiance. Please check it out if you are in Florence!!

This is an amazing little place to eat and the food is fantastic. The steaks are cooked on the rare side so keep that in mind when you order. The panacotta was the best I have ever had. We kept coming back to eat here it was so good. They also had half bottles of wine which was the perfect amount for dinner.

We had no reservation, but got seats right at the hub of the restaurant. I had a wonderful pasta dish with mushrooms and my husband lasagna. Wonderful! Great, friendly, fast service. Too!

Our dinner at Ristorante Natalino was perfect! The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. Our server was a very friendly and attentive young woman who provided excellent service throughout our dinner. Here are some tips to maximize your experience: -Reservations are always recommended in Italy . You can use the app called The Fork to reserve your table here and modify your reservation if there are any changes to your itinerary. -You can do half orders of the primi piatti. We had eaten lunch earlier so weren't starving so we asked about doing a half order in addition to a full order of two different primi . Our waitress happily accommodated . -There may be a free offer if you checkin on the Yelp app. When we checked in we received an offer for a complimentary amaro (an after dinner liqueur good for digestion). When we showed our waitress she offered us Limencello shots at the end of dinner. -There are no steps in the restaurant so it may be more easily accessible for those with walking disabilities or wheelchairs . -To access the bathroom you must walk through the kitchen so say hello to the cooks who will be making your food! Okay , on to the food. There entire menu looked delicious so it was to tough to decide . Our waitress was very helpful with recommendations and we opted for a half order of the pear filled pasta with Gorgonzola sauce (Fiocchini di Pere al Gorgonzola). It was very good and the pear and Gorgonzola surprisingly "peared" perfectly together ;) we did a full order of the ravioli with pistachio pesto, burrata and sun dried tomatoes ( ravioli al pesto di pistachio , stracciatella e pomodori secchi). The ravioli was also delicious and the flavors all complimented each other perfectly. For our entree we shared the beef cheeks with mashed potatoes . It was tender and delicious . This restaurant is a gem and I highly recommend it!

We celebrated our honeymoon with this dinner as the grand finale and we couldn't have picked a better place. The wine list was incredible and the food was even better. I don't think you can go wrong with the menu.

Stopped here on our second night in Florence. Cozy atmosphere, wonderful service, and great food!! The pear and Gorgonzola pasta was a bit advanced for my palette but an interesting try nonetheless. The beef stew made me nostalgic for my grandmother's cooking. Tiramisu was excellent as well. A must visit!

This has been one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Florence. They have incredible tartares and ravioli with burrata. Their rabbit is also fantastic! Definitely recommend stopping by during your time in Florence

Wonderful dinner in Florence. We went a little early at 7:15 but the place filled up by 7:45. Many Italians eating here. Appetizer of smoked goose was good without being great (perhaps many cured meats are very similar in taste), but the entrees were wonderful. We had pear and Gorgonzola stuffed pasta purses in a Gorgonzola sauce which had a compliment of sweet to the cheesy and slightly sour Gorgonzola. Then had braised rabbit. Very good rabbit with what might have been the tastiest ragu I ever had. Just a wonderful dinner

Thank the French for their constant labor action. We were stranded in Florence for another day as Air France struck right after the ATC struck! We headed back to Natalino. Artichoke salad is unique. Pickled artichoke in julienne strips with a thinly shaved Parmesan cheese on top for the appetizer. Entrees were spaghetti with hard clams, rabbit cooked in a mild sauce, & ossobucco. Service is very attentive even though it's a Saturday night. The ossobucco is by far the best in the city. My finicky eater is a 14 yr old boy and he wanted more of the coniglia or rabbit & the ossobucco. So tender they melt in your mouth! We live across town so the 30 min walk is definitely worth it!

Beef cheeks and mashed potatoes were extraordinary. Flavorful and tender. My husband also tried the Tuscan soup and it wad hearty and delicious too.

Paid with card, waitress plugged in info & chose for me to pay with USD, adding a 3% charge. Whatever. Food wasn't even that good. Ravioli was €12, my friend ordered a €6 spinach salad that was literally just a bowl of spinach, cheesecake tasted like it had been bought at a store and left out on the counter all day. Super upsetting. Will never eat dinner even in this area again. Bottle of Chianti was €18 (absurd for a house wine). Anti pasta meat tray was literally three pieces of salami and wilted lettuce. Go spend $36 somewhere

Fantastic!! Absolutely loved this place! My husband has the pasta with meat sauce & mushrooms; I had the ravioli. Accompanied by a very nice Chianti. Divine!! And the service was superb! Homemade pasta which can't always be the case in Florence.

Good Italian restaurant recommended by our hotel. Started with tomato and mozzarella (and reason it lost a star). Mozzarella was excellent but tomatoes were nothing special, tasted like they came from a super market (that is, did not taste much). Very different than the vibrant and flavorful red tomatoes I had when I had a similar course in Rome. The steak florentine (which was recommended by our hotel and the reason we came) was perfect. Very rare, which is florentine style and if you don't like it, I would avoid. Shared with my wife, large piece of meat, not too fatty, excellent flavor (and looked beautiful). My only complaint is it did not come with vegetables or a side and if we had known, we would have ordered some. My son had fried chicken and fries and smelled great and the potatoes (which were cut as thin discs) were really good. Service was also attentive and friendly. Overall, a good option.

Really wonderful place. The zucchini salad with truffle oil and Parmesan was delicious. I want to try and re-create that at home . The ravioli with pistachio pesto, burrata and sun dried tomatoes was excellent! A real must. The flat pasta with meat sauce was very good, homemade pasta is hard to beat. We also had the fried chicken with homemade fries that were almost more consistent with potato chips,very tasty. We also had really great service by a young guy with tattoos, I feel bad I never got his name. He suggested a great glass of wine that was not mentioned on the list as being by the glass and it was spectacular. Overall a really great restaurant with a good value for your money. Excellent service with a family feel.

My family and I enjoyed this place so much that we went twice during our short visit to Florence. The reason we went back a second time was because the staff were so pleasant, and the food was great. The first time we went I ordered wrong. I ordered the gnudi, which was tasty, but I really found myself wanting something crunchy to contrast against the soft tasty cheesiness of the gnudi. I also ordered the fried veal chop. The fries were great, but the veal was bland and really could have used some kind of sauce to compliment it. My husband ordered the wild boar and polenta. The wild boar was amazing. It was lick the bowl amazing. There was so much flavor packed into the sauce and the boar was cooked perfectly. The boar came with polenta fries which was the perfect instrument to dip into the sauce. The couple at the next table ordered the Florentine Bizteca and that was when we knew we needed to come back a second time. On our second trip we ordered the zucchini salad with truffle, risotto, and Floretine Bizteca. All three were amazing. We shared these three dishes between 3 adults and a toddler and were stuffed by the end of the dinner. The zucchini salad was delicate and refreshing. The risotto was perfectly cooked. The steak was huge and perfectly grilled. Overall it was a great dining experience.

Absolutely disgusting. When I ordered the steak florentine I understood that it was more than I could eat and made sure the rest could be packed to joy the following day. I reminded the waiter that I wanted the remaining steak to go when asking for the bill. Imagine my surprise when I opened the bag the next day to find a bone stripped bare. I could see the teeth marks of whoever steak they had given me. Obviously they had thrown my steak away and instead of telling me of their mistake gave me someone else's gnawed bone in the hope I wouldn't open it. Repulsive and unforgivable.

We had a great dining experience at Ristorante Natalino. It's hard when you're in Italy to choose a dinner spot, as there's so many and although most are good, some are subpar. Not this place! I had the zucchini salad and the pistachio ravioli, which I will dream of forever. So yummy!

Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant during our visit from USA. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we returned for a second dinner during our stay in Firenze. The most incredible food we had during our stay, wonderful wonderful wine selection, and the presence of the gracious owner just added a special touch. It is located in a lovely piazza with an enoteca across the street at which you can enjoy a glass of wine while you wait. For instance, we made no reservations either night and Thursday night we say immediately, Saturday night we waited over two hours. I HATE to wait but this place is SO worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just go.

Being Southern, I was curious about their "fried chicken." It was fabulous! And loved the thin cut fries that were close to a homemade potato chip. My husband got the lasagna which was also fabulous.

We had the pear and pesto stuffed ravioli. They were both excellent! The chocolate suflê was a perfect ending. We will be back!!

Saw the reviews and the close proximity to our apartment and just had to try it. It was by far the best dinner we've had in Italy so far. The pesto ravioli and and the house lasagna were exquisite! It is our first night in Florence so we will definitely be coming back again...like tomorrow...and the day after that....amazing!!
