Ristorante OsteRiva

Came highly recommended by our hotel and it did not disappoint. We had the fish balls as appetizer and they were just right. We both had pasta for a main meal. Sausage and fish sauce, respectively. The home made pasta was delicious. The wine selection was very comprehensive and they offered several choice which were reasonably priced. For dessert they offered a special, citrus cheesecake. It was very light and really really tasty. Enjoy!!!

Excellent restaurant which serves local products, including a broad choice of fish from the Garda lake, perfectly prepared at fair prices. A real gem in Riva.

My husband and I had good first courses of the excellent trout carpaccio and big spaghetti with fish. The subsequent dishes disappointed - our medium-rare steak came more rare and wasn’t a good piece to start with as it had alot of cartilage (and my husband knows his steak); the grilled white fish was not well cleaned, came with lots of scales. Feeling unsatisfied we ordered the apple strudel which was a mistake as it was the most disappointing apple strudel we’ve had as the pastry was really tough and didn’t taste fresh.

Riva!!! 🙌 It is good to see that there are still places around that offer typical local cuisine. The food was great and the staff excellent. Give this place a serious try.

One of the best restaurants in Riva with more local atmosphere. Open year round, not only for tourists. Great fish dishes. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, great wine, friendly service & no wait to get a seat. Traditional menu, seafood & meat dishes covered.

Had dinner with wife and son. Sat inside because we didn't want the bustle of the street, and we still enjoyed its energy. The food was delicious for all courses. This was the best service we had in all of Italy! The waiter did a great job of pacing the courses. We never felt like the meal was rushed or lagging. We had worked on learning Italian for a few months before going and the waiter did a wonderful job working with us in Italian as much as we were able and using English when we needed it (as we requested). Hope to come back soon!

Charming local bistro. Friendly servers, delicious and creative take on local cuisine, all locally sourced. We had the gnocchi with perch, salt beef, gnocchetti (gnocchi made from a blend of spinach and basic, great!), and Tagliatelle. They also have a kids menu for the bambini. (hot dog & pommes, etc). No Pizza.
