It took us 45minutes to find a parking space at around 930pm but it was all worth it. Food here is fantastic. We had bruschette, spaghetti al Nero Di seppia and the special fish mixed grill. It was a beautiful crescendo of flavours. The bruschette were very nice, lots of chopped sweet tomatoes. The spaghetti were super nice, don’t think I ever had such a good Nero Di seppia dish, I wasn’t expecting much but this was super tasty. Then the mixed grill arrived… wow. The octopus was perfectly cooked, crispy skin and soft flesh. The totano the same, neither are easy to cook but this was a masterclass. The pesce spada and the prawns were a tasty accompaniment to those two masterpieces. Plus the host was very welcoming, played her part to perfection, it was clear that people were coming to see her as much as having beltway food and everyone was very complimentary to her and her restaurant (I think she was the owner?). Highly recommended.
