Ristorante Piermarini

Piermarini is a nice restaurant, especially if you visit during the summer. Their specialties are truffle flavoured dishes, a must have if you fancy

We arrived after a recommendation from our Airbnb owner and a call from him to the restaurant. There wasn't another person in the restaurant, and the family was eating their own meal in the entrance as we arrived. Our waiter went and did other stuff for about 20 minutes, and got offended when we commented that he had been gone awhile! We decided to leave at this point, with no question or care from the waiter or the family eating in the entrance, presumably the owners. Cold vibe and didn't get to try the food because of poor service. Others may be willing to give this place another try, but I wouldn't.

lovel garden, pleasant service. sadly, very mediocre food. a major disappointment. i had eaten here three years ago....the place has really slipped. I do better at home and I am not a great cook. one eats much better (by far!) at trattoria rossi (close to arrone), at la trapp a bit further down the road in ferentillo, or at il ponte in scheggino. the setting is so pleasant, it deserves a better kitchen staff.

The family that runs Piermarini is the epitome of Italian hospitality. We arrived late for our stay overnight and the kitchen was officially closed, but the family prepared a delicious mail for us anyway, with homegrown tomatoes, lettuce and homemade olive oil and ricotta and a whole lot of other delicious food. They even gave us a bottle of olive oil for the rest of our trip. The surroundings where amazing and the room was very nice and clean and in the morning we had a lovely breakfast as well. The love we felt while staying there was overwhelming. We are forever grateful to the families of Piermarini.

We had the experience of a lifetime truffle hunting, doing a cooking class, and enjoying a 5 course meal at Ristorante Piermarini. The food was other worldly. The ricotta cheese had been made fresh that morning. The restaurant owner brought out their bee hive to show us the honey they make themselves. Everything was fresh and authentic. I can't recommend this experience enough. We went to Cinque Terre, Florence, Rome, Naples, and Capri and this experience was our FAVORITE of the entire trip.

Food was disappointing. We were not allowed to sit in the garden, the room inside was horribly lighted and decorated. The staff were unfriendly and there was no atmosphere.

Food is delicious and authentic. Friendly and helpful staff.

Wonderful food and service

We have enjoyed several meals with family at Piermarini, including Pasquetta pranzo in 2019.  The restaurant is bright and welcoming, the grounds beautiful.  Food, wine selection, and service are very good.  They do an excellent job of handling a large group.
