A wonderful place with a fantastic atmosphere and incredible food! The pizza is just outstanding — thin, crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and a perfect combination of flavors. This is definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The restaurant is cozy, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy great food and spend time with friends or family. I will definitely be coming back!

Everything was amazing! I loved the experience, but I think I might skip the beef steak next time. The service was great, and the vibes for dinner were just fantastic!

2024: revisited the place. Still fresh fish and good food. The menu has changed and it’s not as exciting as before and they were not as friendly. Still giving it five star as it’s a nice restaurant with good food! 2022:Very nice people, and awesome dishes. Very fresh ingredients and flavorful food. One of the best experiences I had in Milan. Their pistachio crusted sea bass was outstanding.

Phenomenal dinner experience here while on a two day stop on our Italy trip. We prefer local restaurants that aren’t packed with tourists, and this place was just that. Very large wine selection. The menu is very diverse with pasta and seafood options. I had the calamari for anti pasta and seafood linguine and it was delicious. For dessert highly recommend the chefs homemade cheesecake. It’s not always available and maybe not on the menu but ask for it! Host, waiter and owner were very welcoming and accommodating making us feel like family. Thank you so much!

Google
The experience was excellent. The team were able to to accommodate for a large group of 19 of us. It is noted they charge 4 euro cover charge per person which comes with bread and 3 euro for water which is automatically given when you sit down. Pizza was great and decor was nice inside. Would recommend.

Google
Very nice place, kind of fancy, the kind that you can bring a first date to. We had a great dinner... the grilled vegetables were not to my liking but thest of it was just excellent!!! My steak Florentine was cooked to perfection and so was the rest of the meat. The tiramisu was one of the better one we hade in italy...

Google
Wonderful restaurant which has been beautifully crafted to create a fabulous atmosphere . Menu was excellent perhaps our choice of ossobuco could have been better although everything else was terrific.

Yelp
Excellent food, excellent staff, excellent experience. I was recommended this place by our hotel, and it did not disappoint. The staff was very pleasant and provided recommendations on the menu. The convivium pizza is to die for, the best pizza I've ever had. Thank you for the experience!

Yelp
Excellent experience! So, so good. From elegant atmosphere, fantastic service, to tasty meal. Loved it. Surprised to get two different bread plates, the second being pizza bread. Wonderful with the excellent table side olive oil. The Caprese Salad was a huge sliced mozzarella ball, giant tomato, pesto sauce, and a micro green to round it out. Excellent! I enjoyed the Diavola Pizza. The spicy salami was flavorful. Loved dipping the crust ends in the table side olive oil. Really tasty pizza. Great service especially from the bartender as we waited for an open table. Without a reservation (I'd suggest one) they were still able to fit us in within 30 minutes (maybe 20). Definitely give them a visit. You'll enjoy it!

Yelp
Stumbled on this place while taking a break from shopping in the area. The worker found a table for me within 10mins even though they were really busy and I was a walk in. The menu is huge and I struggled picking something to eat but I saw the lady next to me had Branzino with pasta so I ordered that. The bread basket at the table was delicious and I snacked on that. Unfortunately, I was exhausted so I took my meal to-go and ate it in my hotel room. It was so delicious. It lived up to all of the hype that people say about pasta in Italy. I look forward to coming back here and trying more items on the menu. I was able to observe a few other people's meals so I know when I go back I'm trying the lamb chops, a few other pasta dishes and dessert. Also, before leaving I purchased some olive oil as a souviner for someone. I look forward to trying it.

Yelp
Was walking through with my mom. Stopped in had some Drinks on the patio. Great spot. Left came back by myself and hour later and had dinner and it was very good. I had the fettuccine bolognese. It was very good.

Yelp
AVOID this place. We've traveled all over Europe. This was the WORST service we've ever had. I gave an extra star because the food was OKAY. It's filled with tourists and irritated serving staff. Definitely not the authentic Milanese dining experience we were hoping for.

Yelp
The service was good, except they got my order wrong and i had to wait longer. The tagliatelle with sea bass filet, once it arrived, failed to impress. the Flavour of tomato's overpowered and the sea bass filet was quite small - not really a filet, rather it was three small pieces. We also had the osso bucco with risotto, which actually was quite good. The beef was tender and flavourful. decent wine selection too.

Yelp
I had a very nice dinner here a few weeks ago. I started with the squash flowers which were fresh and excellent though I wish the ricotta filling had just a touch more flavor or salt. Then I had the risotto with fresh mushrooms. This was simply fabulous. Milan is known for its rice and risotto and this dish did not disappoint. For dessert I had the chocolate and amaretto cake which was huge but deceptively light in texture and very delicious. This is a casual spot which seemed to work for families in shorts to couples dining out for a special occasion and everything in between.

Yelp
Fantastico! Finally got here early this time to try their gnocchi - amazing and so delicious with the pesto! Their risotto with scampi (the local shrimp with claws, langoustine) and risotto flowers was fantastic, keeping in mind the risotto was very al dente. And the best part was definitely the rare steak of veal topped with mushroom - incredibly tender and marbled, it literally melts in your mouth (not to mention such a giant portion we had trouble finishing it) Service was wonderful as before and ambiance is great. I look forward to the next time I'm in Milan to stop by again!!!

Yelp
Lovely place - beautiful restaurant. Very stylish but the staff are relaxed, so you don't need a Gucci bag to get a good service. We had a pasta each - a first course. And were very full after the meal = big portions. Nice surroundings- lovely atmosphere. If we had the time we would be back for a dinner and not only eat here around lunchtime. It's a good idea to book a table or arrive before 13 o'clock at lunch - it is very busy.

Yelp
First dinner on our Italian vaca, this place was fantastic on a cold and rainy night in Milan! The food & wine, the service, the interior, the music... We ordered: fagottini de bresaola (excellent), calamari with artichokes and bottarga (possibly the best calamari I've ever had!), rustico Toscano (local cured meats and salamis, maybe a touch too rich - skip or go for a Tuscan ham), pappardelle with boar ragu, #risotto with pumpkin & porcini (both amazing), and tiramisu - all with some delicious barolo. Posting this is making me hungry again, would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Great restaurant to grab lunch. Service was founder-full even with kids. The Risotto with lamb, capris salad and pasta where fresh and delicious.

Yelp
Beautiful interior decor, gracious service & good food. Family friendly restaurant that appears to be popular among local Milanese.

Yelp
Beautiful place, beautiful service, beautiful food! Also at good prices :) Pistachio sea bream linguine was trued and loved, thoroughly enjoyed by the boy. I had gnochhi with some kind of delightful tomato based sauce. House wine, a sparkling red of some kind! And cheesecake done so well- berries on top, texture more like pound cake but fluffier! :)

Yelp
Ok, first things first, the address that had been listed for this place was completely wrong, we were hungry and decided to go some place else in the neighborhood, which turned out to be right along the way via Convivial. It's not a simple place to find. The food however, actually worth the find. Simple, and what i assume to be good Milan Italian food. We were very eager for some good pasta, so this place hit just the right spot of what we were craving.

Yelp
Very bad. Highly not recommend. Got a piece of a shell in my pasta. Could've broken my tooth of worse. The waiter got very racist jokes about our nationality. I rarely say something bad about places but - if you appreciate good cuisine, respectful service and your teeth - don't go.

Yelp
Surprisingly good place! They were open late, so I decided to give them a try. The service was excellent, and each member of the wait staff was welcoming and inviting (in a non-touristy way). The food was well-priced (I ordered a pasta dish from the menu del giorno that only cost 12euro), and a glass of decent white wine was 5.50. There is also a 3euro coperto, but this is standard. The food was EXCELLENT! I received a complimentary appetizer of flatbread, drizzled with sea salt, olive oil, and roasted oregano, and it set a delicious precedent for the meal. I had the tagliatelle with salmon and avocados, cooked in a grapefruit sauce. The pasta was fresh and cooked perfectly, and the rest came together PERFECTLY. A great meal for a good price, with great service.

Yelp
Where to begin with this total disaster of a meal. We arrive late to Milan, and are erroneously led to Convivium through a mixture of Google & Yelp reviews. We enter at about 11:40PM (closing time is 1AM), and are brusquely greeted by our waiter. He quickly takes our order (Caprese, Fetuccine w/ Sea Bream, Pizza Davola, Veal Milanese and an Aperol Spritz). I knew we were in for trouble when the bread they gave us was rock hard; the bus boy insists that it is fresh from this morning (throughout the night, we notice a table adjacent to ours send their bread back as well). When they brought my drink it was flat as if the bottle of prosecco had been sitting for some time open (FYI an Aperol Spritz is: Aperol & prosecco on ice topped with club soda). I sent it back, and declined a replacement. Next the caprese is served without fanfare as the tomatos were tasteless & white. It's at this point, I'm disheartened that my last meal in Italy will be this, and I immediately start thinking about finding a Mc Donald's for a Mc Flurry (I've never had one, but I imagine it's far more satisfying than anything Convivium will put out). The pizza arrives, and to be honest it's ok. Not "oh I'm glad I trekked 20 minutes out here for this meal good," but serviceable in 3 star hotel room service kind of way. The pasta is a mess: the fetuccini was over cooked, and drenched in oil. At this point we are waiting for the veal and it's clear the staff has given up: they are loudly banging dishes in an attempt to clean up and quickly go home; the chef is texting, and clearly no one cares about us or our experience. The veal arrives and is bland, dry, and over cooked. Our service the entire night was atrocious, our waiter couldn't be bothered with us and was extremely rude. The bus boy was much friendlier, but inexperienced. Upon paying at the host stand, we were not left with as much a thank you or good night. The kicker is they also have the nerve to add 3EUR/pp service charge to the bill; this to me clearly reinforces that they know their service is crap, and have to make people pay for it before presenting the bill. If you're sightseeing and in a rush, this might be serviceable; however if you're used to eating food that is actually good, stay away. There's no reason to waste caloric intake here, get a bottle of water and keep it moving.

Yelp
We took recommendation of our concierge at came to Convivium on a Friday evening. From the beginning everything was super. The service was great and very helpful. The risotto with pumpkin was phenomenal, very creamy and delicious. Ambience was great and recommended wine from large Italian wine list was off the charts... First rate and will definitely be returning...

Yelp
5 star service and 5 star food. We loved this place. Right down to the last drop of wine. We had the Caprice Mozzarella and tomatoes salad to start. Then we had risotto with shrimp, grilled veggies, and the veal milanese. The maitre de was very enthusiastic and sat us right away without a reservation. We loved the ambiance, decor and the smiling staff. The neighborhood is lively and fun. Great to take a nice walk afterwards. Put on some nice clothes (not too dressy) and go to this amazing spot.

Yelp
3.5 Stars. Good food and OK, not so friendly service. New York vibe kinda place. It was busy, so reservations are a must. The risotto was the best I had while I was in Italy. The veal Milanese was disappointing. It lacked seasoning. The desserts were yummy too. Prices were very reasonable.

Yelp
The place is very elegant, even romantic in the evening. All the times I have had a excellent deal. The waiters are professional, the food was always very tasty, studied and never usual. Rich the wine list. Recommended.

Yelp
Great restaurant for lunch or dinner. Cozy atmosphere nice service wines were great for the price and nice variety on the menu.

Yelp
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. The pasta sea brim was Devine. Don't miss the yummy capresa. A sure bet and a wonderful experience. The staff is fantastic, speaks English and both owners are there for 30 years

Yelp
Delicious food. Big portion even good enough to share. Reasonable price. Extremely nice and friendly waiter. They can speak English and have English menu.

Yelp
Convivium is a great restauran, it has atmosphere, service and good food. You wouldn't expect anything else from a place in Brera, prices are quite expensive, probably for the same reason, and that gets the restaurant a slightly lower evaluation. A very good place for a fine dinner out, if on a budget better look for something else.

Martin D.

Yelp
Excellent food & wine, impeccable service, fair prices and a dessert selection of irresistable cakes, fruits and sweets. Would definetely revisit next time I'm in Milan!

Yelp
The owner takes great pride in the food and service. Make a reservation if you can. Everything is delicious there. (We went 3 times!) They have excellent wines. Save room for dessert.

Yelp
Good pizza and pasta at reasonable price. Decent wine list and ambiance. Would go here again

Yelp
A really, really nice restaurant in Milan's beautiful Brera district. Great food and wines, not cheap (approx. EUR 40/person) but well worth the visit.

Jo K.

Yelp
The restaurant isn't especially cute and feels very generic. However, the food was pretty good but they forgot to add bottarga to my bottarga pasta which is such a strange mistake. I don't know if they thought I wouldn't notice since I'm not a local or it was just a simple mistake but this was very strange and questionable to me. I don't want to make assumptions as to why the main ingredient was missing to my main dish, but once this mistake was fixed, I did enjoy the pasta as well as the ribeye and left very full.

Mojo B.

Yelp
If you are in Milan, please make an effort to go to this restaurant. You wont regret it! The food is one of the best Italian food I've had in Milan. The Florentine steak was perfectly cooked. Great selection of pastas and antipastos. The restaurant environment was awesome........please go & give a try!

Alejandra Y.

Yelp
Amazing place, definitely my favorite restaurant in Milano. Food is spectacular, atmosphere is nice and cozy and service is great.

Stephanie L.

Yelp
This was our favorite restaurant in our Brera neighborhood in Milan. Don't let the formal entrance and lack of outside dining scare you away. Convivium offers a needed respite from tourist menus and crowds. The staff is so welcoming and helpful with menu and wine choices you will feel immediately at home. The food was fresh and delicious. The entire experience a pleasure.

Barbara B.

Yelp
we decided to have lunch here because it looked cool and hip and we thought they would have a good normal bathroom, unlike some places which are more casual and cheaper but have a hole in the ground, literally! And the bathroom was great; service was wonderful, we shared a pasta with arugula, tomatoes and cheese, sorta warm but more lukewarm and great, and also a salad with avocados, mangos, shrimp and peaches that was super; good wine and generous size glasses, good bread for once, and we were thrilled. lots of natives; we had decided to avoid pizza again, though it was on the menu in many different forms. worth a visit for sure.

Dan M.

Yelp
Nice place - but a bit overrated. Not Tuscan as described. This is an all over the map Italian place - good, but nothing too special. Highly recommended if you are near the duomo, and need a dinner that isn't Super touristy - i.e. All the places around the duomo are horrible, but this place is a over average as compared
