After wandering the streets to buy underwear, we were desperately hungry. Oh yeah, the third day without our luggage. United lost it and they still claim its coming. BTW try to find underwear in a resort town, €80 shirts no problem. Sorry.
Plenty of restaurants to choose from we perused the menu and decided to go here. It was quite busy and we took an outdoor table. We both ordered spaghetti al mare. This entrée was very good and it came out hot. It consisted of pasta with a marechiara sauce with mussels, clams, shrimp, and calamari; and plenty of it.
Only entrée complaint was the sauce was a bit too salty and the shellfish tasted frozen, not fresh.
Service was another issue. We asked the waiter for oil and balsamic for our bread. There was no butter on the table, finally got his attention and he never brought it. Had to grab it off an adjacent table. A few other faux pas as well.
I have to say we got the impression that they wanted us to vacate the table ASAP to make room for the next diners. They certainly acted like it. Bottom line decent food, poor service.
