The sea bream with artichokes was exquisite, fresh and super tasty. Same for artichokes alla romana, you will notice the difference! Amazing lunch, relaxing atmosphere and very quick service.

The fish is very fresh and delicious and the shrimp spaghetti tastes really good.😋😋👍👍

Amongst all the hustle and bustle, we thought this place could be a tourist trap on a busy restaurant strip. But the food looked amazing and a lot of local language floating around, very happy we sat down! Excellent pizza and great pasta also! We came twice, once for lunch and again for Dinner. By far the only pizza I had seen in town that actually looked handmade/ fresh ingredients and authentic (not dripping in too many toppings which is a common sign of a bad pizza….) Service excellent and very friendly. Good atmosphere outside. Definitely recommend!!

Da Gennaro is by far my favorite authentic osteria in Santa Margherita. We visited the place on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. As a vegan and frutti di mare enthusiast, I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly, as the chefs are very capable to adjust the menu selection to your needs. Located in a beautiful place with a view of the little square and the sea, it’s a wonderful spot for a long lunch or aperitivo. When it’s the right season you must try porcini mushrooms. Both - sautéed in white wine with garlic and oven baked - are a delicious combination of texture, taste and aroma. Good wine selection too. Five stars!

Service was a bit slow but the food was so so so good!!! I really loved the prawns! They were so fresh! The trofie al pesto was yummy and so was the vegetable soup. I’d definitely come back some day. 👌👌👌

Pleasant atmosphere the Italian way at Ristorante Pizzeria Da Gennaro. Overlooking the port and mountains over the bay, dinner starts at 7p, the place is filling up quickly and we didn't disappoint as their pastas are really authentic and origin. Grilled Sea Brean - juicy and soft-tender. Prices are reasonable with roughly 25 Euro/pax without wines. Recommended.

We had spaghetti Gennaro, pizza and tiramisu, everything was perfect, will come back for sure. it gets really crowded in the evening, but we got a table for two without reservation so maybe you're in luck!
