Ristorante Pizzeria Il Paguro

We had a very average to poor experience here on a Sunday evening. The Caprese salad was disappointing as the tomatoes were rather green (not ripe) and tasteless & the basil had large, bitter leaves. Costing €12.50 I had expected much much better. The grilled red chicory was rather good. One pizza was good, the other poor. I had the mixed mushroom with buffalo mozzarella. The pizza came out with a layer of liquid on top that made the undercooked base very soggy. I suspect the mushrooms were frozen and they didn’t cook it long enough but if they did then the mozzarella would burn. Really poor cooking here or they don’t care as the tourists normally only come once to the restaurant. Go for the standard pizza. We didn’t have the pasta but at the table next door the portion sizes looked small. Overall it wasn’t good value. The place is busy, so I suggest you make a reservation. We didn’t and luckily we got the last table for 2 at 7.10pm, just after they opened. There is inside seating but there is no air conditioning, therefore it seemed hot when we went to pay.

Atmosphere is great. Food is good enough, but not perfect. And service is slow, and require reminders, xD

Absolutely amazing pizza! We had a fantastic dinner at Il Faguro the pizzas were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Super friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back soon!

Seems like it's a decent restaurant for getting a pizza. Was not impressed with the menu otherwise. Ordered the pork steak which came with no side, the vegetables mentioned in the description are only decorative (i. e. 4 leafs of ruccola). Therefore to the €12.5 of the dish you have to add another €5 for the side. The other item we got was a plate of Culurgiones, but it had just 5 pieces. We waited about 40 minutes for the food when the restaurant was not at full capacity.

Nice little restaurant with a nice backyard. Got a good fish, but unfortinstely without assesories like potatatos, oliven, e.tc. Even though we tried to tell the waiter we wanted the fish with the assersories, but he must have misunderstood it. We did not get very filled up in our stomachs. There was only a few strips of tomatoes, small strips of rucola. So be regular when you order fish or other kind of menu.

Would not have found this place without a recommendation from a local. It is not located in the regular tourist streets. The restaurant has a lovely secluded garden at the back and every table was busy despite the early season and it being midweek. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasty. The Seambream was fabulous. I didn't really want a dessert but had to know what Ravioli Dolci alla gallurese was and it did not disappoint!

We got into Fertilia pretty late at night and mostly everything was closed except Paguro. They have tons of pizzas, fresh seafood and pasta options. We had just come from Naples and were sick of pizza so we opted to order something from the entree list even though the server warned us it may take a little longer. We had no problem waiting as we were seated on the breezy back patio to enjoy a glass of wine. Our food came out within 20 minutes or so, not as long of a wait as I expected. I got a platter of sea bream with mussels, clams and veggies. My sister got the bowl of mussels. The sea bream was delicious and well cooked. The sauce had a nice flavor but wasn't too overwhelming. The fish had a few tiny bones to work around but it wasn't a huge deal. It was a nice meal with good service - they accommodated us late in the evening and we really appreciated it.

Defenitely one of the better places in Fertilia. The Restaurant offers a wide range, from various meat and fish dishes to a wide selection of pizzas. If you are into seafood, you simply have to try their sautéed mussels. They are simply divine.
