I had a lovely pizza here during my stay in Ischia. I really recommend this place. The view is amazing, and the venue is famous amongst locals which gives you a hint food is at good Italian standards, with great dough and fresh ingredients. They catered to my specific diet which made me feel at home, I love a simple one as you can see in the picture. Would recommend it to friends and family!

Unfortunately the restaurant was full as we had not reserved in advance (book a table if you want to visit!) we got takeout pizza and it was delicious.

An experience that left a bittersweet taste. After reading all the great reviews about this place we had to give it a go. Family run restaurant tacked away from the city centre offering lovely views across the Island and authentic Italian cuisine. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter. Manu is only in Italian so our waiter offered help with translation. Service was prompted and our starter arrived in no time at all. We quickly realized why our food came so fast. It looked and smelled like it was a leftover from a day before. Fried vegetables were cold and soggy probably microwaved, the selection of hams far from what we were expecting, even the decorations didn’t look fresh, the salad on which it was served was soggy with dry and dark edges around. We were later told you were not suppose to eat the salad so it doesn’t matter if it’s fresh or not. The only highlight was the bread that came with the starter and the wine. We sent the food back and asked for our mains. At this point we didn’t think this can get any worst but the mains were a disappointment too. Pasta dishes were dry, with no flavor to it and the whole thing looked very unappetizing in fact tasted like it was made using old ingredients. We didn’t eat anything. I have never had worst food served before. We asked for the bill which was presented by what appeared to be the owner with no apology and with the full amount on it. We challenge the bill and explained our disappointment. This didn’t go down well as the owner got very angry. I must say it was his attitude that has ruined the whole experience for us. We left hungry and angry. I don’t recommend this place to anybody as you will have to go out of your way to get there for less then mediocre food. Poor attempt in cooking what should be a taste of authentic Italian cuisine.

First we went, because at the time it was the only open restaurant in Campagnano. Then we went back several times because the staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome and at home. The food was always very good, and not to forget the view from the terrace which is spectacular.

Absolutely terrible food and would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. The starter was a selection of meats and fried in batter vegetables. Most of the ham was cheap breaded bologna. The "fried" vegetables were cold, the batter was oily and soggy and tasted like they were made a few days before. The lettuce even though for decoration was soft with dark dry edges. The whole platter had an off putting smell to it. We had to send it back. For my main the pasta was wrong to begin with. I ordered fusilly but was brought spaghetti which is not an issue if it actually tasted good. The pasta was very dry. The sause was tasteless and hardly any of it. The truffles were non existent and the sausage had an awful smell to it. I have NEVER in my life sent any food back until now! My partner asked for simple carbonara and was promised a very good one. The pasta was disgusting. The eggs in it were scrambled and there was no flavour. Both pastas were inedible and were sent back. I never knew it's possible to have bad pasta in Italy. We asked for the bill and to our shock were presented with a full bill. When we challenged it the man who appeared to be the owner got very angry. We diplomatically explained our disappointment but it made him even more frustrated. When I mentioned the soggy dry edged lettuce his response was "you're not supposed to eat it anyway!" He was shouting "we're the 15th best restaurant in the whole of Ischia" which I find hard to believe. There were however positives. The waiter was very polite and genuinely a very nice person. The house wine was delicious. The sparkling water was nice and the bread was great. Response to owner to below comment: Very incompetent restaurant. I never mentioned the fried meat as a starter. The carbonara even though not on menu were told the chef can make it. Were promised that any italian chef shouldn't be a chef if cannot make carbonara. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS AWFUL RESTAURANT!

Tucked up in the mountain, this family owned restaurant is a little hard to get to but definitely a must for a romantic dinner. Their charcuterie are all homemade. Their specialty is rabbit all'ischitana. Delicious.

Rabbit was great. But waiter scammed us. He gave us pizza and dessert "on the house" but then charged us for it. Will definitely NOT return.

Very good place for the coniglio all’ischitana! Portions are big but not too pricy. Amazing view! It really opens slightly later than what it says.
