Ristorante Quarantuno is my favorite restaurant in Pietrasanta. We’ve been coming to eat here since 2016. The food is consistently brilliant and I have happily been working my way through their changing menu and specials with my wife and other members of our family. The owners, Vera & Stefano and their staff are top notch and always take very good care of us, sometimes squeezing us in when they are crowded on a weekend and we’d forgotten to make reservations. Yes. There are also many other good restaurants in Pietrasanta, but Ristorante Quarantuno is where we happily keep coming back! Check out their Facebook page!

Wow what an amazing food in this beautifull town. The octopus as starter was so soft and full of flavour and not chewy at all. The ravioli's with gamba tasted fresh and the tiramisu afterwards was full of flavour and tasted really light, Amazing!

Good food and good service. The tiramisu was the best I’ve had in some time. I’m not saying the food was mediocre or anything but just the tiramisu at the end of the meal was the best! Really, you have to try it if your ever in Pietrasanta. The owner is very intelligent also because he is one of two restaurants open for lunch. The others were closed at lunch time.

Believe the hype. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Specials were all around porcini mushrooms, my wife had a delicious sea bream with porcinis and potatoes and I had cacciucco for the first time, full of fresh seafood. Delicious, not expensive bottle of bulgheri.

Dishes with porcini, garlic especially tagliolini and trifolati, were on top!

A very arrogant owner who doesn’t allow single diner into his restaurant. The facts: on the 25th July at 13h10, I stepped in into Restaurant Quarantuno. This was on a rainy day with one table occupied inside and two outside, a waitress came to assist me but when the owner heard that I requested a table for one person, he immediately came to me and said “I have no table” in a very insulting way. Reading the comments for this restaurant, this is not the first time that the owner is acting in such a discriminate way. There are plenty of restaurants close by with decent hoteliers willing to accommodate anyone, so avoid Quarantuno restaurant.

We’ve been coming here for the last four years and 41 has consistently delivered great homemade cooking. This year, it seems they’ve updated their style (plates, table sets) and menu. Vongole with botarga - what a treat!! We loved it and will surely return 2026

We live in Northern California and your restaurant would succeed in our area too! My husband loved the lamb dinner and I loved the crispy chicken dish. nice, but tricky: the outside tables are empty but not given to locals or Italians....only to foreigners. also, you are not allowed to pay one bill with two cards (in case you want to share the bill) good choice of wines
