Stayed one night and had dinner in the restaurant.
The rooms themselves are quite spacious, which was nice. We had two windows which had a nice view of the area and brought in a nice breeze, which was essential as the air conditioning was nonexistent. Bathroom also pretty large. Check-in was easy enough and they had ample parking. It's a little bit out of the way and certainly not walkable to town, but that's what we expected for a rifugio.
For convenience, we ate dinner in the restaurant, which was actually more crowded than I was expecting. The dishes were good, nothing really so memorable but hit the spot. We got: fried artichokes (nice sauce, great presentation), tagliatelle with mushrooms (I quite enjoyed the butteriness of the pasta and the chunks of a mushroom I don't typically eat), beet ravioli (interesting texture, enjoyed the brown butter sauce), and the ossobuco (tender, sizable portion of meat, enjoyed the polenta). We asked for recommendations for dessert and went with the kaiserschmarren-not a dish I've had before and I didn't quite care for it and found it to be a bit bland but maybe that's what it is supposed to be.
One thing I didn't quite understand about the hotel is that the lights for each floor seem to turn off immediately so when you enter a new floor you have to turn them on each time. This wasn't such a big deal but for example when I was carrying drinks upstairs, it became a bit difficult to see where I was going.
Breakfast the morning we left was simple but had enough for anyone to find what they'd want.
Service was super pleasant, helpful, made for an easy stay.
