Ristorante Riviera

We loved this restaurant as a romantic evening date on the water we sat right next to the water at a beautiful white linen table, chairs and covers. The food is delicious and presented really really well. A lot of it is seafood based and bought from the market near by so it’s definitely worth asking about the fish of the day also. I only ever eat meat but this time I tried the sea bass starter and I loved it! The wine menu has some good options we went for a white that was brought out in an ice bucket for us. The mains had great portion sizes and the whole experience was very romantic. The staff were friendly, not overly chatty but that leaves you with all your attention on your partner.

This was our last night in Italy and it was the best way to end our trip there. The food was absolutely amazing, the drinks were wonderful, and the service was spot on. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and helped me order in Italian as I am learning the language (and am not great). I can’t forget to mention the seating. We didn’t have a reservation but we arrived around 6pm and left around 8:30/8:45. They sat us outside next to the water which is exactly what I wanted. If I ever make it back it Venice, I would make a special trip to this place. I didn’t grab everyone’s name, but Antonio and Valentino, BRAVO!!!!!! Great people here.

The food was excellent, I highly recommend the raw fish platter, octopus, and spaghetti with clams. The service is incredible. and the view is fantastic! We were able to sit right on the canal, watching the board go by at sunset.

This restaurant was a great find and an amazing ending for our trip to Venice. Everything we ate was delicious: Linguini with Lobster, Ravioli stuffed with sea bass and king prawn. Great location on the grand canal in a quiet atmosphere. Great food presentation, and our server Samuel was very nice . Highly recommended restaurant.

Having just arrived and staying in a hotel nearby, we initially couldn't get a seat indoors but by the time we popped back after getting an extra layer a table for two had opened up. Service was mostly efficient and friendly. We shared the aubergine with mozzarella to start (not what I was expecting but delicious), I had the carbonara in a bowl made from Parmesan (made gluten free) and my aunt had the cacio a pepe. Both dishes were very tasty. The place had a nice vibe, and they clearly know how to do seafood well based on the amazing looking dishes going out (and empty plates returning).

It doesn’t really get any better than the experience you’ll have with Ristorante Riviera. The steaks were exceptional and the Tiramisu was a religious experience. The staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive while the atmosphere of dining at waterfront in Venice is a memory for a lifetime.

This restaurant was highly referred to us by one of the receptions in H10 Palazzo and we’re glad he did. Our dining experience was really great. The view is just awesome. The food was divine specially the fresh oysters. The service was overall excellent. The guy who served us, was very attentive and speaks fluent english which was very refreshing. Overall, it was a lovely experience for us. A gem that we will visit again when we are in Venice.

Wonderful evening at Rivera Venice restaurant. Ambience was so classic and welcoming. My 3 top meals were Branzino Al Sale , Octopus grilled and spaghetti alle vongole. Of course the red wine wasn’t off the table although. Salut. Samuel was a great server and very funny as well ( you can’t leave this place without interacting with him ). My boyfriend and I loved our experience here. I strongly suggest you to come and dine in with these wonderful staff team m. ❤️
