Ristorante Santa Rughe

I visited a couple of restaurants while in Sardinia but Santa Rughe was for sure the tastiest! We shared a cheese platter and they were all extremely good. The pasta is homemade and they try to make only local dishes with locally sourced food. Very authentic and worth a visit!

This restaurant was very nice to serve nice dishes and very good accommodations! I visited here in 2016 and today 15th August 2021, I opened and drank the nice wine from this restaurant which I bought at that time. Needless to say, it is very nice and I miss that nice vacation at Sardegna!

We had an amazing typical lunch in this restaurant. Highly recommended if you visit Gavoi or any small town close by to it - food was delicious and the staff is very friendly and welcoming! Will come back!

We had a very nice meal here. One of the best during our stay in Sardegna. The mussel and clam soup was out of this world. And all for a very moderate price...

We timed our stay in Gavoi to coincide with the towns festival Autunno in Barbagia. The whole area is beautiful! This restaurant is an absolute gem! We loved the location,atmosphere, kind and helpful staff and above all the food was sublime. Mille grazie to everyone for looking after us, we really enjoyed our time in this town. Dear Franco and Franco Yesterday evening we arrived at home. Bianka and me are absolutely convinced that this one day in Gavoi was the best of our whole holidays. Now we already started to plan our next journey to Gavoi. Allways thinking on the beautyful room, the cute Santa Rughe with the absolutely best pasta and mixed grilled plate I have ever had, the given hint to the wine (we didn't opened the bottle, which we took to our room but the next day we bought some more >> Bianka took so many that I had nearly a problem with the weight of the cases of my motor bike) and not least your absolutely friendly welcome and heartly help. If there were no language barrier we ment that we met our family. Once more thank you very much for this lovely impressions. Looking forward to meet you again Bianka & Jörg
